Yeah, I'm Polish, and I have to tell you, I hear all those people from abroad talking about different cities in Poland: Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Sopot, Malbork... but what I personally enjoy the most in my country are not cities, but nature. 1. About 30% of Poland is covered by forests. There are plenty of small towns where you can spend the night in, and in the morning go outside the city to enjoy one of many different walking trails 2. Mountains: Tatra's are only one of many different mountain ranges in Poland. Practically all of the southern border is covered in mountains. 3. Lakes 4. Rivers: you can take part in a organised kayak trips. Some of them are shorter like 1 day, and some of them are longer and last few days 5. If you like cycling and you have a gravel bike or mtb, there are a lot of cycling trails. Even on road bikes there are plenty of places you can go to without encountering a big traffic

Its feels amazing, fresh, magical, there is lake that you trek to, crystal clear, surrounded by mountains in a distance, it seems almost unbeliveable, there is a hut that you can rest and have some warm food. Then you can go around that lake, climb a little and get to another lake directly linked to mountains, vast and mighty.

Bez smaku!!! Poza tym mimo wybornej i obszernej kuchni, serwujemy ciągle te same dania.
@@joannapinkus7005

If someone is visiting Kraków i highly recommend to check out Wieliczka salt mine, it's really close to Kraków and it's very unique, people were extracting salt from there for at least 5000 years and it was a working salt mine until 1996. Now it's a musem with many cool chambers and sculptures made of salt by the miners, the main attraction is the Saint Kinga's Chapel, it's 54 by 18 meters chapel with height of 12 meters and it's carved in one solid block of salt, everything there, walls, floor tiles, reliefs, sculptures and even chandeliers are made of salt. And it's over 100 meters below the surface ;p
Worth noticing is Hel Peninsula in the Northern Poland. For me (and I live pretty close to sea) this place is a hidden gem of Poland. Laidback atmosphere, home of surfers, beautiful nature - all combined in such a small place, yet you still find it peacefull and chill. I highly recommend to check it out :)
Lower Silesia (south-western Poland) is definitely my favourite. It has so much to offer - mountains, rolling hills, forests, wonderful castles and palaces to visit, medieval towns, old gold mines, excellent vineyards and breweries...
One of the beautiful places in Wroclaw is the University's buildings located very close to townhall's square. I love the University's gorgous baroque architecture esp the main building with its Mathematical tower and the university's Chapel, and the Ossolineum Institute (National Library) building and the medieval, red brick buildings of archeological department of the University. A walk around the old town at sunset in autumn or in winter when its raining or snowing, well it feels like the old town could become a film set for a fantasy TV show :)
I live in Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains) near Srebrna Góra. This is Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia region). It's beautiful and I am very blessed. But there are so many beautiful places in my country. My beloved home away from home is Półwysep Helski (Hel Peninsula) on Baltic Sea shore. My most favorite city is Krakow for obvious reasons. For winter getaway I love Zakopane. For fall Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula River bank. But there is so much more in Poland to see and love.
I grew up in Krakow. Amazing city with history, art, culture, fun areas and activities. Poland has everything, from mountains, valleys, hike areas galore, plains, lakes, seaside and beaches. It's a really beautiful country. I live in the States and no one state of the US has so much to partake; events, geography, museums. Poland is small enough to get on the train and go across the country to a fun event or summer festival or something; everything is accessible.
I am Polish and I will say that if you love lakes, silence, peace and forests, then Masuria is for you, you will feel the peace of your soul there. Poland has such a beautiful nature that everyone will find a place for themselves to find peace in their soul, mind and heart
As a polish guy i would highly recommend my favourite place in the whole country which is hel peninsula. Its a perfect place for watersports like kite snd windsurfing and the beaches are stunning. There is also a really chill vibe due to campu gs and a surfer culture
You probably don't know this my friend, but the Dutch, Scottish, English and Germans were present in our lives and had their own colonies (districts) in our country many centuries ago. Their influence on art, architecture and landscape is visible at every step in some parts of our country.
Thank you for being so nice to all of our Polish people and because of that you have my respect.

I definitely recommend visiting Lublin and the mountains known as Bieszczady. Lublin is smaller than Kraków, Gdańsk or Wrocław, but it is also a beautiful and extremely atmospheric city (it is located 160 km south-east of Warsaw). On the other hand, the Bieszczady Mountains (mountains located in the very south-eastern corner of Poland) are unique. Not as high as the Tatras, but they have a unique character, wonderfully preserved wild nature, the tops of the highest ranges are covered with pastures, from which there are wonderful views.
I live in Poland and do confirm it is an amazing country. The presented list is a good starter. I will just add there is so much more than this. I love Tatras so much. Morskie Oko, again a good place to start but there are even better and less tourism overwhelmed places. Polish old cities are full of old and renovated town houses and they are pretty beautiful. Gdańsk actually differs from Kroków quite significantly as their history and location is different. I would add at least Poznań to the cities list but still it is just a beginning. Feel invited to visit my Scottish friend
In the years 90-2000, when my grandmother was a conservator of monuments and belonged to the artists' union, she arranged for us quarters in the castle in Niedzica. We spent a couple of nights there. I remember one time there was a terrible storm, when my mother came to close the window, it burst open outside like in the movies 😅
There are some places which are not mentioned but they are unique. Bieszczady mountains - not very high but picturesque, the medieval ruins trail called Szlak Orlich Gniazd (The Trail of Eagles' Nests), medieval Toruń city, Saltmines in Wieliczka or Bochnia with Underground chambers and chapels, to mention the most known. There are some beautiful churchs or little museums, but I suppose, Poland is not going to impress anybody with that. The interesting place is for example Amber Museum in Gdańs - where Sir Hammond from "Jurrasic Park" would get crazy with all the insects drowned in amber ;) There is also the Pszczyna Palace known for the story of the unhappy Daisy von Pless or Sudety mountains ..
I'm from Warsaw, I really like going to the mountains, especially for climbing and beautiful views, but Masuria will always be my number one - wonderful lakes, forests, swamps, beautiful glades, climate - I recommend
Hello . Krakow is my hometown. I was born and live here. This city has its magic that makes me never leave my beloved Krakow. I love to watch the crowds of tourists and just walk the streets of the Old Town. Once a month I visit the Wawel Royal Castle. One of the chakras of the Earth is located here. It is the most famous chakra in Poland. As many as seven ley lines intersect in Wawel. It connects our country with four other important energy centers in the world - Rome, Vilnius, Mariazell and Stonehenge. One of the lines coming out of it passes through Jasna Góra and heads towards Bornholm, which was a former place of worship for Burgundians and Normans. Another one reaches Jerusalem. I invite to Cracow .
I love traveling, getting to know other cultures, stories of other countries, but... It's also great to travel around your homeland. And we Poles have something to be proud of :) We have beautiful mountains - those as big as the Tatra Mountains, but also as small as the Pieniny Mountains. We have wonderful wide beaches with a crisp, cool sea. We also have a beautiful land of lakes - Masuria. There are wonderful cities in Poland with a rich history, wonderful old towns. I personally love the Polish sea the most. The cities of Gdańsk and Sopot. I love Kraków and Wrocław. Toruń is also beautiful. And Pieniny with rafting on the Dunajec, Trzy Korony mountain and Sokolica. The castle and the dam in Niedzica, the ruins of Czorsztyn, the Pieniny trail from Szczawnica to the Red Monastery in Slovakia... Oh, there are enough pages for all the beautiful places. You have to see it for yourself. You're welcome. I’m polish and I've been to all these places, except for Auschwitz, and they're all wonderful. But I would add few more to that list😊 Like Frombork, Toruń, Kazimierz Dolny, Beskids and Solina Lake, „trail of eagles' nests”, Kashubian lake district and Krynica Zdrój.
There is much much more to visit, to see, to know and to love in Poland ❤ I live in the SE part of this amazing piece of land, but the most I love is the coastline ❤ Greetings 😊
I miss here some of the most stunning nature areas, especially Bieszczady (wild mountains), Puszcza Białowieska (extremely old european forest), Karkonosze (wonderful, green mountains in western Poland) or Biebrzański National Park with breathtaking swampland landscapes. Worth to see, visitors!
I had a Scottish geography teacher at the British school I used to attend. At first I didn't even understand what he was saying to me, although I knew it was in English :) And today I enjoy listening to your Scottish accent; melodic, as if softer than Oxford English :)

0:07 A year ago I was in Zakopane, I saw Morskie Oko. It's not overrated, It's beautiful.
Bez smaku!!! Poza tym mimo wybornej i obszernej kuchni, serwujemy ciągle te same dania.
Sa zachwyceni czystoscia , jedzeniem , przyroda i zabytkami. Nieraz dostalem w restauracji niezjadliwe zarcie , ktore w Polsce nikt by klientowi nie zaserwowal. Dzielnice poza centrum sa brudne i zaniedbane.
Yup. Wieliczka salt mine is basically real version of dwarf city.
My favorite place from Poland place is Łódź Bałuty ;)
Kaszuby!!! Most beautiful region!!! Must be seeing!!!
Am from Poland, Warsaw. I love all in my country ❤ People are The Best in tje world
Worth noticing is Hel Peninsula in the Northern Poland. For me (and I live pretty close to sea) this place is a hidden gem of Poland. Laidback atmosphere, home of surfers, beautiful nature - all combined in such a small place, yet you still find it peacefull and chill. I highly recommend to check it out :)
Been to Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot , Olsztyn, Białystok, Lublin, Katowice and Nałèczow ❤❤❤❤❤
Mazury and Bieszczady my favorite places for holidays!
Zapraszamy do pięknej Polski

Polska Jest Najpiękniejsza, Moja Kochana Ojczyzna
❤🤗🇵🇱❤🇵🇱🤗🇵🇱
"Książ " castle in Wałbrzych is beautifull. Karkonosze Mountains
Mazury. Also Tatra Mountains, but a bit to crowded. And park and old building of Warsaw, my beautiful home city :)
Hello,
My favourite places in Poland-Szczawnica,Kraków (my city),Gdańsk and Zamość :-)
I recommend you to visit TRÓJMIASTO: Gdynia, Gdańsk and Sopot and then Hel Pennisula with Batlic sea :)
Moja kochana ,piękna Polska 🇵🇱
Pozdrawiam🙋♀️🙂
Ja też kocham Polskę! Najpiękniejsza!
Lower Silesia (south-western Poland) is definitely my favourite. It has so much to offer - mountains, rolling hills, forests, wonderful castles and palaces to visit, medieval towns, old gold mines, excellent vineyards and breweries...
Lasy nam karczują
indeed! The loveliest!
It will still take you hell a lot of time though 😂. PKP is so slow.
@@10secondsrule2:50 w pendolino do Sopotu to nie tak dużo .
Amazing people amazing country with astonishing history how its people rebuild it. I feel like poland is my home!!
I love our mountains, not only Tatry but yes - Pieniny are my favourite, I know its trailes by heart.
Agreed!
Lublin ładny...? Ok..
looking at your face during the video I can see your soul is connected to our nature. So much understanding and nature-love! Greetings from Stettin.
Zakopane was a place where all artist used to come in 1800’s .
+1 chłopie
Moja Mama była na Tatrach😮
You must visit Zamość, Roztocze, Lublin, Kazimierz Dolny, , Sandomierz. They are beautiful places of Poland too.
@@halinawandawozniak936 ok
I sugest to visit Drawsko National Park. There aren't to much people, many lakes, hills , meandering river (kayaking)
My home city Toruń. Small, medieval town on the Vistula river.
Karkonosze, Błędne Skały, Malbork, Toruń, Podlasie: Góra Grabarka, Kruszyniany, Pszczyna i wiele, wiele innych
Mazury, beautiful nature
Best greetings to you from Krakow!
Pozdrowienia z Polski🇵🇱

Biebrzański Park Narodowy (Biebrza National Park) is my favourite place I visited in Poland
I'm from Warsaw, I really like going to the mountains, especially for climbing and beautiful views, but Masuria will always be my number one - wonderful lakes, forests, swamps, beautiful glades, climate - I recommend
I'm from Kraków. I was born there. And I'm proud. I was also in Sopot. And I saw Three Crowns moutain. I love my country.
I'm Polish living in Scotland for the last few years and Scotland reminds me of my motherland big time!❤
Bieszczady Mountains in eastern Poland, wild and beautiful place.
Białowieża Forest - ancient forest, unique in Europe and beautiful
Poland is beautiful and so clean people are friendly. We live in uk but we visit Krakow at least twice a year. Our place on earth it’s perfect
Yes, Polish people go there for vacation or just for over the weekend type of visit. I grew up in Poland, and there is so much to see and explore.
Some videos are attached.

PS: And also the Bieszczady Mountains, another mountain massif. Very wild and beautiful.
Check what the lakes in Poland look like. We have the sea in the north, the mountains in the south. And in the middle of the lake and other things
np. Okuninka
I’m polish and I've been to all these places, except for Auschwitz, and they're all wonderful.
But I would add few more to that list😊
Like Frombork, Toruń, Kazimierz Dolny, Beskids and Solina Lake, „trail of eagles' nests”, Kashubian lake district and Krynica Zdrój.
There is much much more to visit, to see, to know and to love in Poland ❤
I live in the SE part of this amazing piece of land, but the most I love is the coastline ❤
Greetings 😊
I miss here some of the most stunning nature areas, especially Bieszczady (wild mountains), Puszcza Białowieska (extremely old european forest), Karkonosze (wonderful, green mountains in western Poland) or Biebrzański National Park with breathtaking swampland landscapes. Worth to see, visitors!
I am from Krakow and its sooo beautiful!
I had a Scottish geography teacher at the British school I used to attend. At first I didn't even understand what he was saying to me, although I knew it was in English :) And today I enjoy listening to your Scottish accent; melodic, as if softer than Oxford English :)
