As of next month the Campbell Court will be demolished. Here is a final in depth tour of this facility that served as Roanoke's bus depot

Signa4 was discontinued. They could use an Otis Gen2 instead.
The interior looks pretty nice! Those 80’s Westy elevators have nice fixtures that I really like.

Sad that I won’t get to see this when I visit within the next few months, but there are plenty of other places to see in Roanoke for sure! The Dominion elevators are high up on my list, for sure, as well as anything else vintage I didn’t ride last time. By the way, WELL done with the editing, it brings back memories from 4-5 years ago! 😊😉😃 I’m really enjoying the newer content A LOT!

@@DieselDucy Oh goodness…. No more Dominions? Oof… I saw a video of one at a small building in Roanoke, but I think you’re referring to 707 Building… Knew those were gone, but there are at least 2 I think places that still have a Dominion or a Monarch.

Dang it! I always wanted to see this place in person someday. It's like the visual definition of juxtaposition! But, at the same time, it always looks so immaculately cared for. It's a shame to see it go. Thankfully you have this (and other) video historical record(s) of it!

most of it will be apartments.
I’m sure they’ll pick something nice like ThyssenKrupp, Kone or Otis. If you get permission to film the lifts in the new building. But I think Campbell Court should have been grade 3 listed. This building has a beautiful mix of 1900s and 1980s architecture. And the offices could have been converted into apartments.

I wonder if this place was renovated to be like a mini-downtown shopping mall, or at least maybe a mixed-use complex. I mean you did say there WAS an escalator in here originally.
There was an escalator and this place will be torn down.
I'm hoping that they will give the elevator panel parts. This seems like a nice building. It's interesting looking. It will be sad to see it go. Can you show the demolition when it happens?

You should definitely attempt to try to get the fixtures and buttons from the elevator. That would be awesome to get those in your elevator collection. :)

I can’t believe they would demolish that building. One of my dreams is to plan on visiting that elevator in the future but now I can’t. That elevator was always amazing when I watched it since from the older videos. I wonder if your able to keep the elevator buttons lol. Very cool metro buses by the way!

Wait a minute... isn't Valley Metro route 15 called 15th Ave, and route 35 called 35th Ave, and route 41 called Indian School Rd? Also, Valley Metro's diesel Gilligs that are 40-ft are numbered 5600-5644.
*By year: 5600-5611 are MY2018, 5612-5624 are MY2019 and 5625-5644 are MY2020
*By garage: 5600-5631 are First Transit-West and 5632-5644 are Transdev-North
I am not sure about the route numbers but they have neat buses!
@@DieselDucy Here are tips to learn the Valley Metro routes:
*Route 35 (35th Ave) = 3500 West block
*Route 41 (Indian School Rd) = 4100 North block
*Route 7 (7th St) and Route 8 (7th Ave) are 700 blocks, where Route 7 is 700 East block and Route 8 is 700 West block. Different numbers to avoid confusion.
*Route 16 (16th St) and Route 17 (McDowell Rd) are 1600 blocks, where Route 16 is 1600 East block and Route 17 is 1600 North block. Again, change the last digit to prevent confusion.
*Route 96 (Dobson Rd) = Route numbers are based off the Phoenix grid as 9600 East. Dobson Rd is an RPTA-Mesa route, though Mesa has its own street grid.
Also, Valley Metro has CNG 40' Gilligs as well. Buses 5121-5274 for Phoenix and 6750-6810 with RPTA. The fleet also has New Flyer buses.
