- 2 season series for NBC, Sagal twins are younger sisters to Katey Sagal, of "Married...With Children" and "sons of Anarchy" fame. Cute girls, surprised they didn't do much more with their acting careers.
I remember this series fondly. For the second season, it got a makeover, with a relocation to New York, and a new, upbeat theme.
We need forgotten TV sitcoms like that to have a DVD release set fast!
I agree!
Or show them on channels like METV or Antenna TV
Man, I had the biggest crush on Liz Sagal ( yes- i could tell them apart) back in the 80's! This theme music totally multiplied it!!
As a 13 year old, I crushed hard on both of them. Such beauties, and those smiles could melt anything. Never knew they were Katey's sisters!
Whoever posted this, Thank You 😊 !!! It reminds me of Saturday Nites in Utica,NY eating pizza 🍕 & watching this !!!
The Twins are doing more behind the scenes work these days! One is a writer and the other is a director.
I was 14 and 15 when this show came on; it was my favorite because of the music, clothes and New York style.
Ladies and gentlemen!
Now it's time to "Tag Your Friend!: 80s Edition"!
I haven't seen this show in ages!
I love this show.
Cool show remember very well.
Opening theme reminds me of My two dads does anybody think so? Cool show in the 80’s though
That's because the theme was done by the late Ray Colcord, who did the "My Two Dads" theme, as well as the updated theme (1985-88) of "The Facts of Life," "227" and "Boy Meets World."
Clearly this the theme from the Seinfeld show in the show, The Pilot
Haha...
Nothing like WHALING saxophone to make me click away as fast as I can!
Wanna feel old? Just think that this girls are now 60
Anne-Marie Johnson was a scream in this.
"LIKE MY MOMMA ALWAYS SAYS"
First season, they were kids and on the second, they’re young adults. Watching them grow makes me surprised...sort of.
Thanks for the Upload 👍 !! I loved season two..I love NYC in the 80's.. XD
Glad you found it! 👍🏻
@@Crommy5 Thank you.. They lived in Des Moines in season 1. Wouldn't Chicago been Alot closer !! XD I saw this back the the old USA Network back in the day !! XD
@@MrCraigblaze Chicago would've made more sense, but I guess NBC had a mad on for New York.
Jean and Liz Sagal will always be # 1 in my book.
Even when it aired I preferred season 1, with the original theme and Donnelly Rhodes as their father.
Peg bundy from married w children is there sister
It sucked when they changed the show! The 1st season will always be classic for me!
Agree! I hated the alot of the new characters. Pat Richardson and the father were great. It felt like it was totally trying to be a different show which it was. Season 1 was better. Allison was more likable too, and kind of lost her way the second season of being the smart one.
One of the actors in season 2 was in the famous restaurant scene in Ferris Bullers Day Off
Yes, the snooty host. 😂
Jonathan Schmock.
I remember Double Trouble. I always related to Allison. Katie was ok but Allison had chemistry
This may have been reworked into the theme for My Two Dads a couple years later.
Jason Nadle You took the words right out of my mouth.
As mentioned in another post, they share the same composer, the late Ray Colcord.
No. Maybe similar styles but the 2 themes are definitely different.
i loved double trouble seas9n 1 was much better would love to have on dvd been looking for a while and cant find anywhere
Didn't know these Doublemint twins had a sitcom in the 1980s let alone are sisters to Katey Sagal of Married with Children fame.
Why can’t the 2nd season be on UA-cam?
It was. Try Dailymotion.
I like the 1st season opener better, but this is ok I guess....pretty girls.
jpowell180 I like this one too, it has the New York City beat to it. Also the short glimpse of the old WTC. The first season intro was better, you're right. To be honest, I didn't really like the second season. I never understood why the change and the new characters.
@@clamshell6863 The New York episodes are better
@@kachoo2135 I think we're the only two people here who feel this way lol

Never even HEARD of this show? From 1982 (when I got my driver's license and my own car) till about 1988 (when I graduated college) I don't think I watched any TV at all (except Miami Vice, Married w/ Children and the Simpsons)! I see a whole lot of shows from that era on UA-cam I have no clue they exsisted; much less were popular
I think I saw a sign for Trump Tower
Jerome Brown, good catch! 0:07.
I miss the father.
The season one theme was great. This theme was bland.
season 1 was better
Such a crush I had on them back then.......then it all changed when I watched a pro wrestling match and figured it all out....boys was my bag.
Well you don’t see a comment like yours every day!
