That final scene: Party in a can. A standard issue party cannon shell housed within a small canister. When opened, dresses any applicable surfaces up to 15 feet from the canister for a party and releases a cloud of confetti. At first I was going to stop at just 'That final scene: Party in a can', but after typing that out the rest of it started taking shape in my mind in a form not unlike a commercial endorsement. By the time I got to the manufacturer's note and warning I was just having fun with it.

Do not underestimate Sans Smirk. He's the straight man to Cheese's wise guy... and straight man is the more important role in a comedy team, he sets up the wise guy to deliver the punchline. In fact, Bud Abbott-widely regarded as the best straight man of all time-was so valued that his partner Lou Costello made sure he (Abbott) got top billing and a 60-40 split of the pay, just to make sure he didn't leave the act.
The word "sans" means without, and since his last name is Smirk, his name is technically "Without Smirk."
Which makes sense considering how flat he is.

The reflection period of this video was beautiful. Ive been struggling with finding my life’s purpose now that i’m on my last year of high school & having to figure out what to do afterwards. Hearing you talk about purpose and your definitions between joy and happiness as well as how we often make a mistake in comparing ourselves to other people, was beautifully worded, and I really needed to hear that. Thank you.

I whole-heartedly agree. I enjoy the analysis because it sheds a different light on circumstances in our lives, is thought-provoking, and brings out the lessons in a way that the show couldn't (at least to me).
Since I am ridiculed by one of my older brothers for watching a kid's show, Applegeek is one of the reactors I turn to to remind myself why I love this show so much, and I love hearing how he explains the lessons in the episodes. If only my brother was open-minded; maybe then he wouldn't be so quick to say that I'm not supposed to watch MLP.

Best analysis I've seen of Pinkie's mental state in this episode that I've seen so far. Other people keep seeming on missing the point of her reasoning by misunderstanding what "life's purpose" means, glad to see someone adding to the thoughts I've had on this episode. Keep up the good work!

As i said, it was so good to see Weird Al reprise the role of Cheese Sandwich after all these years, but it's a shame that "The Last Laugh" will be the last time we see Cheese Sandwich in the series.

Damn dude, after listening to your reflection about the episode, I just can say "damn" I can see now that probably they were thinking on the bronies for this episode, to let them know that even if the show is ending they would still can find something to bring them joy.

17:28-17:45 Sans anticipates the factory will close if they don't have Cheese Sandwich to come up with new gags. Also, notice how he said the factory was "his" life's purpose, not Cheese's.
17:40-18:04 Applegeek thinks this was a shot at the Apple company for constantly rehashing Steve Job's products. I think it was the writers justifying why they decided to end Friendship is Magic after this season. Also, Applegeek's reaction.

25:28-45:23 Applegeek talks about the difference between happiness and joy, how he's similar to Cheese and Pinkie, and how each of the Mane 7 value their moral compasses over their passions.
Overall this was a very interesting episode. As Pinkie clarified herself, she's never really had any major life ambitions. Applejack and Fluttershy arguably didn't either, but that's because Applejack was already where she wanted to be in life (running the farm) and Fluttershy only revealed hers (the animal sanctuary) once she had enough confidence to do so. This story shows that you don't necessarily need to take your passions to professional heights to be fulfilled. I should know, I've been there. Before I left secondary school, I had it in my mind that I wanted to be a professional writer. Then I went to college and it really helped to improve my skills. But then as the tasks got harder and more demanding, I found I wasn't enjoying them as much as I did before. This was because I was writing what others wanted and I couldn't be as creative. I knew then and there that I couldn't get a job in writing or else I'd end up hating it altogether. Now it's just something I do in my spare time and I hope to find success with it in my own way - just like Cheese and Pinkie do with their passions. Also, Weird Al Yankovic was brilliant in this episode and I think it was a perfect conclusion for both his character and Pinkie's. We've still got lots to get through in this second half of the last season. So let's see what Hasbro has in store.

You are the best reaction UA-camr around and we don’t mind waiting for you as you always make it fun to watch with you. There is something soothing to your voice and how you so openly and honestly react that keeps the simple fun of enjoying animated shows like Ponies alive and kicking. If I am sick in bed my kids will often put your videos on for me to enjoy and fall asleep to. Thank you for putting out such quality work. I’ve used your reflections to teach my young daughter and her friends various life lessons along the way as well. You have a knack for summarizing that makes the show’s message very relatable to all ages and I always catch myself nodding in agreement with how you have interpreted the meanings of various aspects. Your expressions and squeals keep me laughing along side you. You really put yourself and your gifts into your work and it shows. I recently dealt with some things in my own life that caused me to take stock of what I want to spend my time on and what brings me joy. This is how I began to ponder the shows I watch, the music I listen to, and the people I spend time with. I realized that though I am an older woman with children there is nothing wrong with enjoying my guilty pleasure of My Little Pony at my age, especially with the good people I’ve found at your channel who still let themselves get swept away in a good story that supports healthy friendships and a simple outlook on life. I know it sounds kind of corny, but your channel was on the list of Life’s little blessings I made and I thought you might like to know. It fun to get excited when I hear the little ding go off on my phone for I know what is waiting for me. I pray your life settles down a bit so you can catch your breath and that the Lord gives you peace and comfort in the days you need them. Don’t forget to count your blessings daily and know that no matter how crazy and busty life gets there will always be a time when all of that wanes and the joy of moving forward fills your days instead. Oh wow...honestly, I'm practically in tears reading this. I never dreamed I would ever be able to positively affect others to this degree. To hear that my words have been a teaching tool to your kids just blows my mind. I'm not perfect, and I know I don't always get things right, but I try my best to really get all I can out of these stories and lessons to share with everyone, and it is truly an honor to know that you think so highly of what little wisdom I have to share. This right here is exactly what I was talking about, to hear and be reminded that all I've put into this has been worthwhile. I really don't know what else to say, other than thank you!

Sans is the French word meaning "without". That word in the name of the Comic Sans font means that it's a sans serif (without serifs) font. Serifs in some fonts are those decorative stuff at the end of letter strokes like for example those in the Times New Roman font.

We're in the homestretch now guys. There are just 13 episodes to go before Friendship is Magic comes to an end. And the writers are pulling out all of the stops. Case in point: this episode. It features the long-awaited return of Cheese Sandwich (aka Weird Al Yankovic). Here are my highlights:
3:08-3:23 Pinkie must know how to turn invisible. She was clearly not there for anypony to see a second ago.
3:19 That giggle.
3:23-3:49 Pinkie has some incredible news; she's been sent a cupcake! A invitation cupcake! An invitation cupcake to visit Cheese Sandwich's new amusement factory! Also, Applegeek's reaction.
3:26 I said it first, Applegeek.
3:29-3:36 Pinkie, you shake the foundations of our perception every time we see you. Also, her face.
3:49-3:57 Applejack asks an amusing question. It turns out she's half-right. Also, no Applegeek, that's just part of his name.

It's about freaking time!!!!
I think the reason why they didn't go all the way with the theme of Willy Wonka-esque for the factory was because it wouldn't have made any sense. If the whole gag factory was colorful and wacky and fun, then Cheese would see the joy from his employees and wouldn't lose his laugh and the writers wanted to make this a story of Pinkie trying to help him getting it back.
I was going to say, "Cheese is voiced by Weird Al, of course there's going to be a song!"
Hmmmm, that factory gave me serious Ankh-Morpork Guild of Fools vibes. The whole treating comedy as 'Serious Business' thing.
Also, As has been clear from the start, neither Pinkie nor AJ ever really had major character goals, they were perfectly happy with how their lives were.
