Besides everything else good about the episode, it's also one of Those episodes.
You know. Those. The ones that make it so weird thinking back on the show. Would you ever have imagined this is where things would go as you watched Sugar Belle's first appearance in S5E01? Or when you saw Discord for the first time? Or at any point when you might have pondered the Apple parents' fate? Could anyone honestly have imagined that that one baker who invited the mane 6 to that basement would end up marrying Big Mac, with heavy references to their parents and their marriage, and that Discord would be helping with that? I mean, holy shit.

My only nitpick out of this episode is Starlight not being present for the wedding. She's just as important as Sugar Belle's village friends.

I love how even now, after all this time, people still don't understand Discord. Haha, if he goes by the rules and does as he's told, it's not Chaos, by definition, and he'd cease to exist. As proven by the Fluterchord episode where we also learn Fluttershy is kinky. xD
I know this isn't a Discord episode, but I'm glad he was in it, since everypony else was very 'straight man', in terms of writing, so literally injecting Chaos is great, since it gives us a more lively episode (and a good distraction for our favorite background ponies to propose!!)
I do hate the ending with the apples, but eh. they wanted to go out with a joke, I suppose it's fine, can't repeat Perfect Pear, that was one in a million, now wasn't it.

Overall, this story delivered a lot more than what I expected. An episode with Big Mac proposing to Sugarbelle (and vice versa) was surprising enough. But we also got to see Spike, Discord, the CMCs and others, get one more moment in the spotlight before the end of the series - Lyra and Bon-Bon's was the best. I also praise the two different perspectives aspect and the documentary-style inserts. Plus, we got to see the wedding itself in addition to the proposal. There's nothing else I can say, except this was a very satisfying episode.
And with that, ladies and gentleman, we've done it. We've finally reached the last three episodes. And I want to take this opportunity to say how much I've enjoyed this series. Applegeek is an incredible reactor. I first started watching his videos when he did Crusaders of the Lost Mark, and I knew straight away I had to subscribe. He reacts to these episodes with such passion and devotion that it honestly adds a whole new layer of experience to them. I've enjoyed writing my highlights, too. I know go overboard with them. But that's just because I'm passionate about about everything it see as well. Needless to say, I can't wait for the grand finale.
