American world champion Noah Lyles ran a personal best of 9.81 seconds in the 100 meters Saturday in the final Diamond League meeting before the Paris Olympics.
Lyles, one of the biggest names in the sport at the moment, delivered in the final race of the day, clipping two hundredths off his best time in front of a sellout crowd of 60,000, easily the largest on the Diamond League circuit.
South African Akani Simbine took second in 9.86 while Letsile Tebogo of Botswana was third in 9.88 as the first five broke 10 seconds.

Yohan blake has a huge ego, hidden in the guise of his fatih. Some of these ultra religious people can be the most narcissistic. Ive seen it in my own family

Yohan Blake's athletic career trended downward following his departure from Glen Mills. I was even shocked he got into a conflict with Glen Mills. He should have known better.

@@beresford8777 Yessss indeed. They both experienced the same dilemma. Somehow, Shelly escaped, because she also left her top coach (i.e. Franno) following a well-publicized conflict. We can say luck was on Shelly's side.

Blake still wanted the body builder physique, the coach wanted to take a different approach from that, because he realized that yohan’s frame can’t handle all that bulky muscle. And he previously ran faster when he was more slender. Blake didn’t want to listen. That’s why now he looks so bulky like Omanyala, but finishing last place every other race.

Blake is a great sprinter from Jago days,I thought he would have find another coach to steer him along the right path.I am not sure but he has a junior record that is still not broken,He was overshadowed, and that's the truth and a lot of things went on,and I sympathize with him a lot.He should have received counselling after that career threatening injury. This beast imagine got him out too.I think ungrateful is a strong word to describe him, look at Veronica Campbell she could have said the same thing, its how you treat the the athletes who have represented very well for our country

I don’t think that he is wrong, plus the time when he made the comments, he was filled with mixed emotions from the stadium( London Olympics) where he had his greatest memories days before an Paris Olympic that he wanted to be a part of.

Hey 👋 "Bolt" is telling the truth on both "Warren" & "Blake" & we all now see 👀 the end result 👌🏻; It's called jealousy mixed with hurt 😤 pride, I'm sure "Blake" got tired 😫 of getting his as whipped by "Bolt", & dumb ass "Warren" following the rebellion of "Blake" & destroyed his career at the same time, such a shame, cause "Warren" was coming around & it would have been just a matter of time before he would have been doing 19: 6 or 7 or maybe even better, but he threw it all away, so did "Blake", he wouldn't listen, had to do it his own way, ( probably thinking that the coach favored "Bolt" more than him) & a lot of that rebellion was coming from the fact that his ego got caught up & by him & "Bolt" being friends, hey 👋, the man is human & he got tired of "Bolt" winning all the time, year end & year out, hey, ass whipping's every year can get old after a while, but at the same time when a man is just genetically faster, hey 👋, one just got to make that adjustment like when "Gatlin" paid "Bolt" that ultimate respect when he bowed down in his presence on the track & in front of the crowd acknowled- ging to him you are the greatest, simple as that, that took a ♨️☄️hell🔥of a man to finally acknowledge that fact; I for one will hold "Gatlin" with the highest of respect 🙏 for his humble display of acknowledg- ment, not many young men could swallow their 😤 pride like that, "Gay" was another one who could not stand "Bolt" also👌🏻!!! Amen 🙏!!!

It definitely shows that Usain Bolt have total respect and dedication to his coach, even if Glen Mill favored him most, we can see that he is very obedient and willing. Most people prefer to talk to people who is willing to listen.
