Lymphocytes are the agranular leucoctes which are smallest wbc. They have a large round nucleus and less protoplasmic space . They are of two types T-lymphocytes and B-lymphocytes. Plays important role in immune system, no role in phagocytic action 🙂🙂🙂

Summary of the lecture muscle is made up of muscle bundles ,muscle bundles is made up of muscle fibres , muscle fibre is made up of myofibrils and myofibrils is made up of myofilaments . Covering of muscle is epimysium , covering of bundles is perimysium and covering of fibres is endomysium. Myofibrils is made up of two type of myofilaments one is thick and another one is thin . Thick myofilaments is made up of protein myosin and thin myofilaments is made up of protein actin ,tropomyosin and troponin. Arrangement of thick and thin myofilaments in myofibrils - in myofibrils there is a Z-line between two z lines thick myofilaments is present and thin myofilaments is attached with z lines from both side . On the application of neurotransmitter (acetylcholine) from motor neuron on neuromuscular junction , contraction and relaxation start , skeletal muscles consist dark(A or anisotropic) and light (I or isotropic)band . Sacromere which is a unit of muscle contraction consist = I/2 i + A + 1/2 i . Whereas H zone is a central part of the A band which consist thick myofilament *only . During the muscle contraction length of light and dark band doesn't change . Dark band (thick myofilaments ) remain same whereas light band slide over dark band . During the process i band shortens here means to say when there is no contraction distance of i band (which is attached with z line) from A band where there is overlapping of I and A band is take place is large , on contraction it get reduces . H zone also reduces.👍

External costal muscle participate in normal breathing and internal costal muscle participate in forcefully breathing .
