Out of all the farrier videos I've seen, you are the best. Thorough, fast and fun to watch with your tools. I wish they were longer and more of them. So very interesting.

Your videos are the best Jake! 😍 I loved the dogs special appearance 🥰 the camera quality is amazing. I noticed you're using a different technique at 8:27 it probably saves some time compared to the other technique

It’s hard to tell the depth from this angle. I love the angle because it shows everything and I don’t want you to get rid of it. But if I my suggest try adding an overlay of a second camera in the corner of the screen or something every now and then throughout the video just to show that depth from the side. You’d have to experiment with different editing choices and camera angles but I think it would be pretty neat addition to the video. Especially for when you do the initial rough cut of the hoof wall. To see the bowl shape turn into more of a plate with that one trim is super cool. Again I love this angle looking dead on at the hoof and I don’t want that to go away. But the depth of the cut is hard to see during portions of the trim. Your videos rock btw. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to the next one.

Some of his older videos are shot from a first person of view with a GoPro I believe. It's super cool to see the process from above; really makes you feel like you're part of the action!

Never seen farrier work being done. I would imagine that each horse has a different size hoof, so how do you know if the shoe will fit?

What is the purpose of burning the hoof with the hot shoe? Does it tell you where the hoof is uneven or something?

How often is this supposed to be redone? Just wondering why some horses hooves are in such a state when you start.

When you do your next vlog could you hold up to the camera how much hoof you cut off. Have often wondered how much it actually is. Im sure that if it was a human nail it wouldn't amount to much
