  • In the last video I installed the holley and in this one I go over wiring things like the fans, fuel pump, ect. I was going to do one on setup of the wizard and all but there's already several on that. I couldn't find one straight forward on the wiring so hopefully this fills the void. Any questions just ask!

    Great video! You are the only one I can find on UA-cam to show how to do the extra wiring. Thanks

      I searched forever trying to gather it all up. Glad I could help! I'll have more on when I get a prodash on how to wire all it in with the fuel gauge ect.

    Hey brother, just figured I would reach out to you. I’ve been making a lot of headway with this Holly set up. I wasn’t sure if you ever went through and were able to connect your factory Fuel level cinder signal to your pro dash or not? If not holler at me I can tell you exactly how to do it! Easy using plugs C230, Pin G to ground, then Pin J to I/O 7 pin 21 on pro dash. Go into setting and set that pin to custom OHMs, then set ohm load from 33(E)-240(F)ohm. Then adjust the numbers between 33 and 240 accordingly and that’s it!

      I did! I think I got it in the holley video after this one lol. But I greatly appreciate you thinking of me and making sure!!

    Great video and very informative. I do have a question regarding a couple of the wires you mentioned underneath the passenger side fender. He said that they needed to be grounded, if hooked to the Holly harness which they have the two plugs for them do you still need to ground them?

      Thank you. That I'm not sure. I'd imagine it'd work since essentially that's all the factory ecu does is send a ground signal like, say the neutral safety switch is in park, it's sending a voltage to the ecu telling it to complete the circuit by sending the ground (if I was understanding it all correctly 😅)

      The wires in the factory harness that you grounded out, did those need to be grounded because of the Holley system and you took out the factory harness?

    • @Ls1ears
      @Ls1ears  5 місяців тому +1

       @Wrensspeedshop yes and no. The fuel pump ground and those things are because the factory ecm no longer exist, the others are for the body control module I believe. Basically tricks the bcm/factory relays saying the stock computer is meeting the parameters to allow the other things to work lol

    I might’ve missed it in the video, I heard you talking about the starter, but where does the other end of the pink/purple signal wire for the starter go? One end attaches to the starter, but where does the other end of that wire go? I clipped it off of one of my LS pcm harness’s but not sure where to wire it to on the Holley or trans am fuse/relay harness

      I plugged mine right back in but I think it goes to the fuse box? I didn't trace it back honestly I just pulled that side out of the harness. It was completely separate from everything that went to the computer

      @@Ls1ears I have the main relay/fuse block harness that is normally in the engine bay completely out of the car, I’m trying to take everything not needed out of the harness and I want to put it inside the car behind the dash. I’m fairly certain that the purple starter trigger wire isn’t part of that harness, I think it’s part of the engine/trans harness. I just want to be able to use the key on the column to start the car
