My theory is simple Brainiac captured them one by one with the exception of Diana cause she had the power of the Gods. Brainiac tried to brainwash the four members but they resisted so he took their DNA 🧬 made copies out of them to battle the Squad at the hardcore level while Brainiac made sure they kept in the container in a comatose state so they don’t interfere in his plan to take over multiverse.

The concept of this game was not bad but the writers and the plot were poorly executed they could’ve done better
