It's Feathers McGraw! I guess I know what we'll be watching this evening. The blackwood for the beak is very interesting stuff - I was sure it was some sort of plastic resin or similar. Great job as always Tim, thanks for showing us how it should be done, yet again.
Those films were great, might watch them too!! Yeah the black wood is really cool stuff, for the small stuff especially as it's super tough. Thanks for looking in Mark, cheers mate!
Cheers Mark! Yeah, taking off that little nubbin near the live centre, not the best way to use it but it worked 😂 The one I made the beak with is awesome though, from 6mm square stock, works just like a tiny skew.
Fantastic Tim. Love it and may well be making some for my craft fairs. I love Paduk but is such a pain for staining lighter woods. Great video mate. Take care Tim. Cheers, Huw
Cheers Huw! I think I got lucky with that last padauk and sycamore bowl as the red didn't bleed into the sycamore much whereas with this one I wasn't so fortunate. That said, I don't mind it so much here. Thanks for watching mate, take care!
That’s the sound they make when they are shivering!
Haha absolutely! Thanks for watching 😁
Haha he's cute! Nice work Tim
Thanks Mike, might be a few more animals coming soon 😂
