I recently bought a house with these gutters, i believe they were installed 25 yrs ago. They are all clogged with shingle granules, durt, and some leaves. The plastic brackets inside fell out. Only way to clean is to pressure wash inside gutter to the down spout. Very easy to cut your fingers if they go between the gutter gap, slices skin like butter. Takes a very long time to clean, and be soaked by the time you're done
Heavy downpour water just shoots right off the roof
It also does that with any other gutter design.

@@bbenezra1169 price and value is relative to your budget if you cannot afford the product it will always be overpriced, if you can afford the product hardly is it overpriced

Very expensive. Your roof cannot have a high pitch, or the water simply runs off and not in the gutter. Heavy rainfall will cause most of the water to avoid the gutter.
There could have been a mesh screen where the water goes. That may prevent clogs. I did say "could have" after all.
Stay away from the system it's overpriced and after 5 years it'll be filled with shingle granules and degrees. I used to work for this company.
I have had this style of gutters on a group of 10 townhomes for about 9 years without any issues or complaints. I have found this to be the best design of all the gutters. They have worked great.
@@bobb6186 this guy sounds like he was fired from his company. Leafguard is the best gutter system on the market, funny how he never provides a better alternative
I don't know what he's talking about It might not be the cheapest but he wants to get the cheapest go ahead , I'd rather get the best to do it once

The guy that does the Leaf Guard commercials is creepy. That alone would make me question the product.
Leaf will go down the leaf are light it pushes in in. It roll in.
When wet, they aren't as light

Comparing to others I agree with you it's better but it's just overpriced also it's not perfect. I speak about it because I work for the company, I know a lot about them. It won't hurt to flush them using pressure water once every few years to keep them clean up shingle granules and small debris.

Such a scam, there are reviews on UA-cam that show how they get clogged. We literally needed to kick out their representative from the house with huge slides trying to sell it out to us at any cost
The only reason they would get clogged would be if an installer installed the system wrong. If installed correctly they do not get clogged.

Yeah tried to get us also , quoted 13k in Indianapolis total rip off before he left after the pitch & videos he went down to 10k & then called his boss ….crazy
@@0828hudgins18 there's no way you can install this wrong it has only one way to install. It is proven but this system gets clogged after 5 years or so plus the customer service is garbage.
@@kimmie1957 be careful don't buy from any company that gives you high price the product doesn't cost that much it cost them about $3 a foot
I prefer Leafscam I looked at several other gutter systems and felt the best way to get ripped off was with Leafscam the representative came out with a completely overblown presentation and the price was way out of line by thousands so I knew I was getting the best and most worthless system available not only that I financed the whole thing through Leafscam which was truly the best way to go since the interest rate was one point below ussery I couldn't be happier with Leafscam periodically I go out and just look at my 6 month old melted Twisted plastic Leafscam system and feel nothing but pride my neighbors think that I should be institutionalized but hey that's them
