I keep telling Black people here in America..We are missing out of all the opportunities Africa has. When I was in Ethiopia, almost every other building was under construction. They are building like crazy. Africa is the new Frontier. How long do we want to sit here and fight white supremacy, its time for a new strategy.
Nobody is talking about running, im talking about going where you have the most opportunity..I predict in the next 10 years you will have more Black millionaires coming out of Africa more than anywhere else..You can still start a brick and mortar business in Africa for less than 10 thousand..tell me where you can do that here in the USA. ..Also, have you been to any African country..there are a whole lot of people talking about Africa who never set foot on the continent.

I can't afford to go to Africa, sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on opportunities but we're stuck here, the African-American community is my main priority.
Animateddreamer i hear you but guess what???...That do not stop some of the Africans from traveling abroad...The ones who don't completely run away from Africa view Africa as their main priority that is why i think some of them travel and make a better way for themselves and send the $ back to their family back in their African community from which they came from....some even go back and try to do things to better the situations for those around them...
I think that the Black Americans who are serious should link up together and maybe try to do business in Africa. If the business goes well they will have $ to focus on their main priority back home...
That is what all the everyone else does...the asians, the arabs, the jews, the hispanics, so why now us...maybe this can be our time now...

Don't drink the kool-aid. This was the most foolish rubbish I've ever heard this man is talking about imagery. Imagery is the least of Africa's problems. First they have to get Europe's foot out of it's ass. They have one foot in their ass and the other one is on their neck, facts. Europe been stealing, correction, TAKING from them since the late 1800's -1960. Now days they are still getting fuck but it went from taking to FINESSING. Hold up CHINA has moved in about 4 or 5 years ago. Believe me, China also has an agenda and these fools talking about imagery. Sound like they straining for gnats and swallowing elephants. For the record I'm not African or African-American. This cat felt free to speak how he choose and I'm not for the foolery. Especially when he talking about Black Folk and the Hip-Hop we created the very thing that allowed him all of his privilege and freedom that he has now. Black Folk know about Africa and all of us don't speak saying, "You know what I'm saying" after every other sentence while speaking. This man went in front of his continent and spit in Black Folk face without a second thought. Done. Nothing more I have to add. Oh yeah Europe as of now produces the most diamonds in the world. Because of us, westerners now listen and dance to Afrobeats, they now eat fufu on tiktok and make the meal trend. Almost every Nigerian film is about Juju. The characters are always shouting at each other and always angry. This does not help the image of Africa at all. People need to see the soft side of Africa, the gentle, loving Africa. They need to see heroic men and women who are not merely victims but exercise control in their lives, who initiate positive action. Africa needs superheroes. "The role of art is not just to reflect reality but to shape it." D. René. Also the tourists boards should not market Africa as this one dimensional savage place, trapped in the past but present it's modern side as well. Of course we should not be apologetic about African culture either, not the positive aspects. In short, we must make Africa cool again.
