Also for the 90 day calendar probationary period is in the NALC contract. If you want to look it up here www.nalc.org/workplace-issues/body/2019-2023-National-Agreement-Bookmarked.pdf just go to page 33 if your on your phone. Hope this helps
@Jimbo Dawg I know bro just hanging in there is the thing. The turnover rate for CCA’s is from 36%- 43% from 2016-2021 crazy man. It’s either we work too much or don’t get enough hours
I would say it depends man on the area you live in. But both have perks man I did like rural cause if you finished your route in 4 hours you get paid 8 but that come with time. Then city is good man but the union right now don’t give us no info but you can make some good money too. I would say hit up a mail person in your city and see what they think
I'm starting on Monday and they told me that I was gonna be starting at 17.29. They told me about 2 weeks ago. Did something change with in the last 2 weeks.
@@adventuresofadan5037 oh ok is that for a regular city carrier? Or how much do they usually end up making ?I just had driving course today was super easy shadow day tomorrow
Bro, I've been working for 5 months as a CCA, and to tell the truth, I really don't like it, If you're married probably your wife is gonna cheat on you, and your kids are gonna take a distance from you, you're gonna be a stranger at your home, and if you are single you won't have enough time to engage with somebody. That is what happened to 2 of my homies . There are certain things that don't have a price, like your freedom and your family. I don't see myself doing this for the next years.
Congratulations on passing your 90dys 🥳🥳
Looking forward to my orientation on Monday 🤞🏽🙌🏽😊

I often hear it's 90 working days or 120 calendar days.
