Thank you all so much for coming along with me on this thrifting day! I hope you enjoyed exploring these fun vintage shops along with us 🩵 Let me know in the comments what is your favorite item we brought home?! and where should we go thrifting next?! We love finding new places! Have a wonderful night 🩵
The chandelier of curse. Your decor is changing to French, good. I don't know if you look for brocantes in France yt but if you do you will gall in love with French transfareware and all the variaty is extensive, but here is sooo difficult to find some. I have to buy some from England. Yhe chandelier is perfect the room looks elegant, fresh, romantic❤😊
Just down the road from Consumer Mall is T & T Vendor Mall. Not quite as many booths but still worth a visit! Trading Post is one of my favorite places to shop Love the chandelier!
Maranda,It is always great to see you and what you purchase and do!Seeing your beautiful face in your blue cap is a joy!Your style, taste, and enthusiasm is wonderful!!You have become an elegant shopper, stylist, and business person.Always love to see what you do!Wishing you great blessings in your business endeavors! Have a great weekend!😁🌹🐞🌷🌼🐝🌻🦋❤
Your chandelier looks exactly like the one in my childhood bedroom! I love it so much, I’m thinking about taking it down and installing it wherever I live.
The egg basket " buttocks basket" is unique because it allows you to put eggs on either side without them smashing together. Your dishes and tureen are great!
so many pretty things. I do hope you use your thrifted items for what they are intended for and not just as decoration. I love using an old casserole dish for cooking, plates for eating on, etc! makes the hunt and find so much more enjoyable!!❤
Maranda, I have been on a major hunt for the “buttocks” egg baskets and have found THREE-within a week of each other! I found the largest one (it’s huge) at an antique mall near my home for $9.98! It is stunning! I’ve styled it with faux cabbage heads, tomatoes, peppers, onions, etc., with vintage seed packets on a stake coming out of the veggies. I LOVE it on my dining room farmhouse style Amish-made table! I, too, have a collection of small pitchers, which I have styled in my newly made floating shelves in my dining room. Great haul, by the way; so awesome that your husband enjoys thrifting with you. Cindi (from WV). 🥰
Hey Miranda. It was so exciting to see you were in my neck of the woods shopping in Owensboro. I shop at all the thrift stores and peddler mall you showed except the Preservation Station. I'm definitely going to have to go. I'm so glad you found your chandelier. Your right they do transform a room. I really appreciate the sharing you do. I'm disappointed though that I wasn't there to meet you in person. Great video once again.
❤❤❤❤ wow, what’s beautiful treasures! Can’t wait to see what your home tour looks like. I love the red and white plates as well as the blue and white. The vintage chandelier is so gorgeous and looks amazing in your home!
You make me smile when you say “unique”. The last creamer, Johnson Brothers, is Greydawn. Vast quantities of it was made! Here in the UK, it’s now becoming less common on the second hand market. I adore it and have collected it for decades. There is also Greendawn, Rosedawn and Goldendawn, but they are all rarer.
Great finds! Love the casserole dish! Yes, Wedgwood is quite expensive, even today’s new Wedgwood. Typically, it’s blue & white, so in my amateur opinion, red & white is rare (?). There is even a paint named after Wedgwood Blue. It’s a classic; particularly here in New England. Amazing finds you have!
So awesome that you came to Owensboro, that’s my hometown!! I was about to go to preservation station this past weekend, would’ve been great to see you!! Glad you found some treasures ❤
So enjoy going out and about. Red transferware has become a favorite. Hope you can find some pieces with a Fall look..browns etc. Wedgwood is a very good kind. Happy and safe 4th to all . 🇺🇸
Your egg baskets are actually called "buttocks baskets" because of the shape lol they are pretty hard to come by and sell for a good bit. Ive had a booth for 3 years and have only ever acquired one to sell. Good finds!
They are also called egg baskets because that is what they are used for. They are plentiful here in North Georgia, I see them almost every time I go thrifting!
Maranda those dishes were so beautiful..I love the red and white dishes and that brown and white set was so gorgeous. I can't wait to see your summer tour and the finished living room with the chandelier. Thank you for taking us with you.
What a fantastic journey!!! I love your chandelier!! Wow, I have been wanting to find a set or ❤pieces of red and white dishes. Those are my favorite XOXO Cheryl ❤
I've been going down the transfer ware rabbit hole. I love mixing all of the colors together in my hutch. I love to mix in my crystal glassware from Waterford, Lenox, Galway, Cambridge ware....
Your area has some amazing prices on antiques! Here in Iowa, things would be generally much higher. I was excited to see the large blue and white coach scene plate. I have that on my deep red wall in my kitchen. I also have a saucer in my light blue bathroom. I am so in love with the red and white plates. They are all just gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing all of this. I can't wait for your summer tour.
I live not too far from Haddon Hall In Derbyshire, England. It dates back to the 11th Century. Had an amazing meal there a few years ago. I love seeing all the Johnson Bros crockery in your hauls.
Hi: great finds 🎉love the big basket 🧺 and the chandelier.❤thank you so much for taking us with you for thrifting day 🛍️🛒have a wonderful weekend ❣️💯❤️💕🥰.
I found the same brown transferware plate at a fleamarket was only a dollar you bet I grabbed it. Love your videos been to Owensboro years ago when my grandparents were alive
I LOVE the preservation station!! I was born in sebree and we went to Owensboro a lot. We moved to Benton when I was 10. 🥰🥰 still go to this place a couple times a year
I'm English and thought you would like to know that... Back in the day. If you wanted to buy someone very nice wedding china you bought them Wedgewood. Often guests clubbed together to buy a full dinner service between them. A lot of grandparents and great grandparents homes will have Wedgewood they had as young newly weds
Hi Miranda, I watch all of your video's and love your thrifting hauls and decorating. I think the covered dishes you refer to are actually covered vegetable servers. I think soup tureens have the place for a ladle. Love all your wonderful finds. You have such a sweet personality.
I sent you a message about Preservation Station some time ago. Glad you made it there. I go to the Consumer Mall a lot and always find to much! I live about 20 miles south of Owensboro
Maranda - So many beautiful pieces. The chandelier was stunning. Is Owensboro near Owenton or Owen county? Apparently I have great grand parents from that area of Kentucky so I was curious. I'm up in Michigan. Have a wonderful Independence Day, my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
Thank you so much! Actually Owensboro is in the opposite direction of Owen County by a few hours. Have a wonderful night and thank you for being here!!! ♥️♥️♥️
@@marandachristine Thank you. My grandparents are from Falmouth and Burlington but I just found out about great grandparents from Owenton? area and I've never been that far south so I'm interested in learning more family history from that area. Thank you again Maranda. I can't wait to see your tour.
Bendiciones 😊
I’m loving your choices and your video style. Those big chunky arm chairs would have come home with me for sure, well depending on the price😋 The dish you refer to though as a soup tureen is not a tureen but a covered casserole and is beautiful, I love the style and the shade of blue in the detailing. I’m new to your channel and I am looking forward to more videos, they are enjoyable and I love the laid back presentations. I’m also going from this to checking out your online shop. Great format, great content, keep ‘em’ coming.
I found a gorgeous white pitcher today but it had a small crack on one side and then I saw a repaired crack on the handle. I was so bummed. I would have gotten it if it wasn't for that crack on the handle.
Hi there! I loved your red/white and blue/white transfer dishes! I collect both and I leave my dishes up all year round…because I SO enjoy their beauty…These particular dishes are not easy to find anymore… I guess I was surprised that you were going to sell them…
Yes they are very hard to find so I’m super thankful we have been able to collect so many! We have all of our favorite transfer dishes out in our home that we’ve collected over the years that I decorate with and we also use to eat/ drink/ serve out of and they bring us so much joy! So now any extra ones we collect I like to share with others who cannot as easily find them! That way they can purchase them and enjoy them too since we have plenty ❤️ Thank you for watching!
Thank you! I almost said “I bet it was used to hold gravy since it’s so tiny!” But didn’t know if that was right or not! Thank you for letting me know 😊 it’s adorable!

The little set with the house on them would be great for the holidays also. Very cute.

We have lots of get togethers with family where we have fun serving and displaying food in our collected dishes! It’s so special 🥰🥰

In Kentucky we call that shape an egg basket because it is used to carry eggs. Yep, they are common around here too.
Nice haul!
The chandelier is beautiful, love all your finds.

Hi: great finds 🎉love the big basket 🧺 and the chandelier.❤thank you so much for taking us with you for thrifting day 🛍️🛒have a wonderful weekend ❣️💯❤️💕🥰.
Beautiful haul.
The "tureen" is probably a covered vegetable dish. It is very beautiful though, love the blue. The mini one one could be a covered gravy server.
I was thinking that’s probably what it was! 😊
Loved everything you found!
I found the same brown transferware plate at a fleamarket was only a dollar you bet I grabbed it. Love your videos been to Owensboro years ago when my grandparents were alive
Oh wow that’s incredible!! So glad you were able to take home such a good treasure ♥️♥️
