I have a manual wind "T-Winner" sold as a Forsining. Looks attractive, runs strong, keeps good time, cost very little to buy. It would be an excellent watch for someone experimenting with fitting a non-quartz watch into his or her lifestyle.
Fantastic video 4K quality! And great presentation. Subscribed from Australia. That model is AU$35.00 in Australia. Yes they are truly laughable when disassembled and inspected. Better for anyone to buy a new grey market import Seiko 5 etc for maybe AU$85.00 and get a REAL watch. But it was fun watching! Keep showing us more of these Chinese marvels.
Thank you for the kind words and subscription. I sympathise with your opinion to better buy the Japanese one instead but there are many people out there that would not consider a second hand watch and to get a nee seiko automatic you are looking at £250, that's 10 times the price.
@@gamesandwatches5952 I just started collecting and tinkering with watches. I'm making videos for them but there's a lot of horologists out there with better content and more watches!
THANK YOU for remembering, what a watch is for: telling time! If this one keeps brilliant time for a mechanical watch, it is excellent at what it is for! EVERYTHING else is secondary!
I bought a winner automatic watch some years ago and it had very poor quality control. The glass fall on me the back case was open the winner logo was lose the sticker had no glue. It's broken right now.
Tenho 4 seiko e um orient, mais vou comprar um winer desse , ja tive relógios chineses e duraram bastante tempo, tenho dois quartz sanda ja faz 2 anos e ta como novo ainda, basta ter cuidado.( Brasil)
Hello, thank you for the input. Thing with quartz is, most probably they will last a very long time if they don't get in contact with humidity and water, mechanical ones are bit more tricky being made with cheapest material available. I can see some people were a bit unhappy with theirs but then again for that price I am surprised they make profit.
I just got this as my first mechanical watch a couple weeks ago. It has a stellar appearance and it has most of the complications that I want. There's a couple of expected issues. The biggest problem is its not a reliable timepiece at all. I reset it at least once every 2 days and it falls out of time withing an hour of setting it. Another issue is that rotor for the self winding system is very stiff, so you have to actually shake the watch to make it work. That being said, I dont think there's a better option for a first automatic watch. It looks nice, works well enough as long as super accuracy isn't a priority, and its relatively comfortable for having a plastic imitation leather strap. Im planning on replacing the strap with something that can give a closer fit for my tastes and im taking it to a watchmaker for a service and tune up. After that, it should be a very fine watch
Sorry to hear yours it's not the greatest, i didn't really had to adjust mine often, but the thing is as i stated, i only wear mine every now and then for only a couple of days in a row at most.
@@gamesandwatches5952 id say a big reason mine falls out of time so quickly is because I wear it every day around large machinery that vibrates a lot. I did find out that no watch repair shops will take this, so im learning how to service watches with another one of these. It aught to be a lot of fun and its a valuable skill to have
Indeed, if you can afford the time and also have the patience that's a great skill for a watch collector. I tried, i already damaged a few mechanical and automatic watches, in the short term i gave up, if i'll ever get some more time free then i'll try again. Good luck adn let me know how you're getting on with that.

those cheap automatics need servicing out of box. They lack oil and adjustment and include hairs and filings with the odd loose screw. I buy them and blow out the movement with air and then oil them up to keep them working. They are usually clones of swiss movements but assembled the cheapest way possible. New movements run about 8 bucks. Japanese about 60 bucks. Swedish about 180 bucks.
That's great info. If you have the knowledge and time to do it, I suppose it's okay. For that price mine has already lasted a lot more then I have expected it to last. I just think they are great for someone who cannot afford an expensive mechanical/automatic piece but don't want to wear quartz movement.
@@gamesandwatches5952 thanks for the quick response. I've been doing some research on this trying to figure out how a 20 buck automatic watch doesn't have much negative reviews and many people say it's good even after years. Maybe they're seeking to validate their purchase or simply it's that good of a deal. I'm thinking of buying because an automatic beater is crazy lol.
I have this exact watch. It's an elegant timepiece, it looks like a WW2 pilot watch. However... at least with mine, it keeps great time during the day, but if you're still wearing it at/around 12 midnight, it loses time badly. Also, when pushing the crown in after having set the watch, the hand moves up or down, so I have to set it carefully. Other than that, it's really not a bad watch at all.
But designed in the US, so the labour and the parts are cheaper to make the iPhones, there's a big difference. And not always the price is the difference when purchasing products. I can tell you that the flagship phone from Honour ( Huawei ) is a much better machine than the flagship from iPhone at nearly half the price. Do people buy it? No, because it is " Chinese ". I think we need to reconsider a bit what China is when it comes to tech, they have trains travelling at 500 km/h and we struggle to build a " fast train track " around here ...

No worries. Anytime. You shouldn't have issues wearing it whilst it's raining, but then again, I haven't tested it myself in such conditions to be able to tell you exactly. But for £20 I think it's worth a shot, test and let us know how it goes.
