- Weather was mint so we headed north to target the reef species and what a trip it was. We travelled over 400km using the sounder to find new ground. Hope you enjoy.

Hey Renee ! We use a lot of whole squid baits, whole mullet fillet , anything fresh and fairly large for the red emp!

Nice one mate, I got there every year for a week and last year September was insane, we caught 6 coral trout, 2 cobia loads of hussar and so,e reds as well! Just wondering what reef is this?

Hey mate! I’m from Brisbane qld, we run mainly venom and also Wilson live fibre rods, furuno 295 with a ss175w transducer . Hope this helps!
