Fishing hidden wrecks off Moreton Island - snapper/ pearl perch
myself and Ruben set wide off Moreton island fishing strictly only hidden wrecks in the deep water using light rigs (40lb) to start the morning floating baits back into feeding snapper.
As the day goes on we pull the Eletric reels out to get down past the snapper to find some nice sized pearl perch !
I hope you enjoyed.

Boys...👏 i love your work...
Thanks legend!
Have caught plenty of good size snapper's & Jew close to Redcliffe (pb 85cm small knob) , Your beast has been smashing some shells, I’m a bit cautious on going to far out in my 4.2 dory , it’s got to be calm like your day was, That bommie your at are pretty rare, it’s a desert out there. Well done & tight lines.
@@jameschilts5970 awsome work mate ! Yes the ground out there is far and few between but sometimes you get lucky . Thanks ! You too

Great session could you tell me the rod that Ruben was using 👏👏👏
Hey mate this was a grappler jig rod 2-4 PE
@@nomissesfishing thank you 🙏
What a donkey of a snapper great work
Thanks mate proper one !
haha ruben takes about 10 minutes to take off his 3 livies
Hahahaha he’s a special one 😂
You still fishing out of a SeaAdex
hey murray yes i am now i had one built.
One of the greatest Fraser fishing video , love it so much . Straight away subscribed . Quick question for u boys , I am a guy in Melbourne , if I tow my boat to Fraser , in order to get such a good fishing ground like you have , should I go launching Hervey Bay , and fishing the west side of island , or , I should going out through the hook point and fishing through the east side of the island . And which one is safer to going out ? Much much appreciate for your help and instruction 😊
Hey mate ! Thanks for the kind worlds much appreciated ! For fishing this sort of country mate we are east of Fraser Island, the best way we have found is launching from tin can bay and going out the bottom end of Fraser and shooting off there. The bar isn’t the safest bar but if you use the daylight and also a steady tide on good weather windows it’s not normally to bad . Hope this helps mate thanks !
@@nomissesfishing thanks for the tips guys , much appreciate , I heard some horrible stories about that bar . Maybe I will launch from Maroochydore , and take two hours trip to double island point , set up base behind lighthouse in the lagoon , then going out from there , to avoid that bar crossing 🥹🥹🥹
Something you should consider. You will end up with electrolysis from touching dissimilar metals with that stainless shackle holding the boat down on the trailer. It would also suck if someone stole your shackles off of your trailer when your out on the water.
Hi mate thanks for the advice ! We have now got gal shackles and tie downs on the new boat. Thanks !
I find using livies at the port the herring die like 20 minutes being in the water?
Hi mate, that’s a bit strange . Check your baiting them correctly one hook under chin or a hook in the top shoulder . Maybe they are struggling to get moving . Cheers
Great vid boys! When/if you fish out of Gladstone overnight - how is the car security? And which ramp do you use? Cheers mate👍
hi mate, fishing anywhere overnighters can always be a little concerning for the car/trailer but dash cams and parking under lights always helps. agnes/ turkey beach/ yeppoon/ gladestone all seem fairly safe these days mate.
@@nomissesfishing Thanks for your thoughts mate 👍
Great fishing lads 🫡
Thanks ! 🎣👍🍺
love your work Ps can you leave some for me 🤣
Hahahah yes I’ll try leave some !
“Let’s move” as soon as that mother in law comes up 🤣
😂😂😂 literally move spots !
Did you boys cross the bar or is this the Northern gutters?
hey mate we crossed the bar . sorry for the late reply!
Great vid guys! Top fish

very nice rig mate!
Can’t go wrong up there
Hey guys what tranny you boys using
How far out were you & what depth of water. Love the video.
100km normally between 30-60m depth
Where are you fishing out of? Now that was an awesome watch. Those conditions were wickedly good, in the distance there looked to be a storm was that between you and land or out to see and was it far from you? Cheers Garry and thanks for making such a cool video with great technical advice thrown in
