I don’t give my view on people who just want makes views . If I can’t learn of you I don’t watch your video. I give this charnel my like 👍🏿 because I learned a lot from it.
Another great video I’m learning a lot of your ways. I’m starting my business soon already got my llc and waiting for my ein to get to me before i get my business name and insurance. I’m excited and a little nervous too. I’m a great painter but don’t want to screw up my first bids. I’m talking to a good local builder soon. It’s for new construction mostly duplex homes. I would love to be able to talk to you about it and get some good tips.
Yes sir. I’m always down to schedule a phone call or a zoom call to answer any questions you may have. Just be careful with new construction because a lot of times the margins are super low so you have to do a ton of hard fast work to make decent money. Don’t let anyone make you sell yourself short.
In the example I think it was just me (I can’t remember without rewatching and I’m currently out and about) but if you pay yourself $25, charge $50 to make your margins. If you pay 2 guys $25, charge $100 to make your margins, and so on and so forth.
Thank you for your videos, do you have any format on how to invoice the client and collect the payment, would it be by email? Do you need to have a business license to do residential work? I'm starting in the business, God bless you for your help
you'd need to check your state and local laws. But most likely, yes, you'd need a basic business license to do work. I usually just send over a quote and have them agree to it via email or text (always in writing). Collect a deposit to start (25% is fine) then ask for the check before you finish cleaning up the last day on the job.
Please make a video about your new website. It will be very interesting about all the details. I know this not a channel about marketing but advertising represents a very important part for any busyness. Explain about cost, effectiveness, projections or expectations, etc... Thank you for your time. Good job.
You'll need to check your local /state laws. But definitely an LLC + business license + business insurance. Are you wanting to start a residential or commercial paint company, or both?
Good information man, I appreciate your time and patience. Useful
Best wishes on your new website.

You’re welcome bud . Likewise
A question please what if the client decided to buy the material by him or herself how do u estimate the labour wage??
I would steer the client away from material handling. IF they refuse simply charge your 50% margin on labor and roll with it.
On this particular teaching are you saying that this price is just for you alone doing the job or you have helped to do the job

What paint are you using for 25$ a gallon ?
I just used $25 as an example. I was regularly getting ProMar 200 for $25 a gallon prior to 2/1/22, and I was getting ProMar Ceiling Paint for less.
