      its not thread redustion its acrually tissue death. they are killing the neurons while piercing them with steel, and so they die. this is why they went to less threads - they realise they killed part of the brain of the first patient.

      No joke. It will be used against people. That's how it always goes. I'm not one of these ppl with boners for Musk so while he seems for now beneficial against those I can't stand, I also understand allies are not synonymous with the word "friend." You kind of have to have a weird mind to want to authorize something like this or to be part of the hands on team who the authorization goes to and not feel wierd with something like this. I have come to the conclusion alot if not most who do things so far out are not interested in benefiting the human race so much they have warped minds interested in manipulating human existence in ways that seperate us further from the natural world yet again, simply out of facination and not for any true benevolent reasons.

    for the bits per second thing, it wouldn't be about speaking all those bits faster, it's more like being able to include other things such as sights, smells, sounds etc. and other things all along with your data transmission. information that would take many megabits to convey but can be sent to you, or from you to the computer, all at once through multiple parallel channels simultaneously. or if you want to communicate a raw feeling or a raw thought to someone or an intuition of something, imagine being able to send the patterns to someone else through bluetooth from implant to implant and be able to talk in 'rich thought' (like rich text but not just words, but other things like feelings and smells and sights too)

    • @TheAngryShadowknight
      @TheAngryShadowknight 2 місяці тому

      I'm no expert but that is a firm thought and probability. The human body does not welcome foreign objects inserted into ourselves. It rejects them and runs its coarse, or tries to anyway. Even human organs for transplants the body will reject. So you probably are remembering something accurately something someone said like that. It makes sense and would fall right in line with the pattern of the human body anytime.
      Even with that trans nonsense, the body tries healing the damage surgeons create within their victims...oops, I meant patients.

    No, if you watch WhistlinDiesals durability test the cyber truck had some pretty major flaws. Slamming the door once can result in it breaking, the mirrors are barely held on, the tailgate came straight off when trying to tow a Ford f150 as a result of not being held on by anything, and perhaps not surprisingly after all this, pieces of the "bulletproof" body are held on by glue. Also if your windshield, which also is surprisingly easy, breaks, the car will stop working entirely. This guy is fanboying so hard over a video that quite literally shows that the cyber truck is mostly a cheaply manufactured pos

    Yeah they lost a lot of the electrodes so they were forced to create better signal detection algorithms and utilize them better for their tasks. So now they can lower the electrode count for the next one, reducing costs and complexity, but maintaining performance and maybe even improving performance compared to the N1

    It would be nice if they could build a nueralink thread network to compensate for spinal injuries so people can walk/move again. Create new pathways to replace what was damaged and doesn’t work. So people can control their own legs. That would be impressive if not miraculous. Controlling computers and machines is old hat. Try something new by helping the blind to see(if they wish) and people to walk again.
