Peace, love, and metal \m/
Tell me the story ✍️📖
Hércules Will take back Meg's soul by any means neccesary. Even taking down his father
And After this BANGER Caleb se His sights on One Last Hope
Hades takes Megs Soul. Will return it on one condition. Herc takes down his father.
He got mad at people still calling him Hercules when HERACLES is his actual name
After he was betrayed by meg, he became bitter and never went back for her. He then found his own way to become a god again and took over Olympus (kinda like Megs villain song?)
@@krod432 ooh that makes sense given the visuals
Truly iconic
Hell yeah

Lydia and Caleb bringing awesome villainy to the world together
the AU where the prophesy of zeus getting overthrown by his son comes true, you love to see it.
And so The Cycle of Patricide continues as always.
Zeus! Your son has returned. I bring the destruction of Olympus!
That was about Chronos, Zeus's father
Death to Crono- oh sorry
@@BlueCoolOla Zeus also was told the same prophesy, so to stop it he had to eat his first wife.
Caleb has the male villain protagonits and Lydia has the female ones! Absolute win!
YESSS
Was she not singing a song about Dr. Facilier if i correctly remember
W WOOOO
There should be a collab duet between Caleb and Lydia 😯
@@herobrinelp4869I think you are confusing Tianas Villians song for Faciliers AU Almost There from Milkymelodies who is also fantastic
Disney hercules with a mythology accurate Zeus.
Heracles almost never felt like he belonged. He was stronger than all, but he was seen as a freak for causing trouble he did not mean to. His family told him of his true origin and instructed him to go to a temple to meet his true father, so he could finally be amongst the gods of Olympus. However, this tale took a different turn. Zeus did not accept his son, who was now mortal and thus beneath his notice. Zeus did not even bother to show himself.
Heracles, feeling betrayed and alone, became a perfect tool for the God of the Underworld, Hades. How did the God of the Underworld come to know of the boy he assumed had died? Simple. During his time seeking allies to usurp Mount Olympus and seize the throne from his younger brother, Hades heard tales of a mortal far stronger than most. Through some deals, he learned the boy’s name to be Heracles-the same boy who was meant to have died during his fall to Earth.
At first, the god was enraged and ready to kill the boy. However, due to his cunning nature, Hades discovered that Zeus, ever the prideful god, had refused to help his own flesh and blood simply because Heracles was mortal. Yet the boy was still very strong. Sensing an opportunity, Hades decided to manipulate the boy instead. He promised Heracles power beyond imagination, recognition and fame beyond his wildest dreams, and, of course, revenge on the so-called father who had abandoned him. Heracles, feeling abandoned and scorned, agreed to join his uncle.
Under Hades’ tutelage, Heracles was trained to be ruthless and brutal. He was sent to slay several monsters, honing his skills to become the ultimate warrior. During this time, he grew close to a woman named Meg, who was enslaved to Hades. Their bond deepened, though it remained under the shadow of Hades’ control.
The time came for Hades to release the Titans to wage war on Olympus. Heracles wished to join the battle, but without his godly power, he could never enter Olympus. That is, unless he did one tiny thing-damn Meg to the souls of the damned. Though Hades already owned her soul, Heracles cared for her deeply. But Hades had no use for a warrior with a heart.
Meg begged Heracles to save her, but Heracles hesitated. His love for her was great, but he could not forget the lies he believed to be true, the undeserved hate he had suffered simply for existing, and, most of all, the abandonment by his father. Heracles believed he deserved his place among the gods. In the end, he turned his back on Meg and joined the Titans.
As Hades dragged Meg’s soul into the depths of the Underworld, Heracles regained his godly power. Standing before Zeus, he prepared to duel his father for the throne of Olympus.
Your. Story. Is. So. GOODDD!!!! I love this concept, It fits the usual style of greek mythology. Even though what happened to Meg made me extremely sad😭
The only thing I don't get is why damning Meg would help Hercules regain his godly power. Could you explain that?
@Void100-v3x if a deal with hades to protect Meg could seal away his strength.... what of the inverse.
@@donovandelozier7156 wait, the inverse would actually make more correlation to the Disney Hercules
@@turquoisejelly5615 the original disney is "hercules made a deal with hades to seal (temporarily remove) his godly strength in exchange for Meg to be safe"
The inverse of that is restoring/boosting his current godliness in exchange for Megs death/return to the sea of souls.
This really feels like how this could realistically happen
True
@jessejulienhoppner5698yeah I agree
This is absolutely the AU where Hades gets off his butt and finds out Hercules is alive a lot sooner.
This is a Certified "ZEUS YOUR SON HAS RETURNED, I BRING DESTRUCTION TO OLYMPUS" Moment
Phil:
“I thought you were gonna be the all time champ, not the all time chump.”
Herc: “And I took that personally.”
"What was that silly nickname you used to call me? Jerkules? Heh, that was a funny name. You know, _I don't think I ever thanked you all for that."_
I always found that so dumb, he could kill you with one punch and you decide to make him mad?
@boblecatTeenagers have long since had the habit of doing stupid shit. Especially since they knew Herc wouldn’t fight back for fear of killing them.
Just the key change makes these lyrics so ominous. The animation is so clean, I love it all!
It’s impressive that a few words change can shift the tone of a song
Not to mention just a few shifting of keys
I wonder if we could have a collab where villinous Hercules and Villinous Megara get to meet and probably fight
Oh! That would be a sick idea! The goddess of death fighting against the newest god of Olympus!
@ryuknight5236yes I like your idea 😊
Minor key version of the music, segwaying into the new lyrics, the artist for Lydia The Bard’s Evil Meg AND fascinating implications? Why, Mr Hyles, what a delightful Christmas gift!
This and The Ithaca Saga? We've been blessed 0:04
EPIC FAN SPOTTED RAHHHHHHHHHH
@tycooneryt495 RAHHH
I always wondered what this particular Hercules song would sound like if it were a villain song, and you Caleb have finally answered that question. And for that I thank you, your vocals are positively astounding and brilliant as always!!!
Merry Christmas!!! 🌟
This animatic was a really fun challenge! Thanks for supporting me Caleb!!! :D
I knew I knew this art style! Amazing work as usual!! ❤❤
The moment I saw the thumbnail, I knew it was you Maeple! This looks amazing as always queen ❤
Epic animatic as always, Maeple! I recognized the thumbnail art style and I’m so glad I did!
This Herc took some lessons from Poseidon and learned that ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves
In this alternative universe, pain and panic report back to hades that they have failed to kill Hercules. Instead of being mad, hades instead plants seeds of doubt, rage and distrust. Moulding him into this tool that he can direct to Olympus as a distraction while he gets to business opening the titans prison
What having competent underlings does for someone.
Hades: *”YOU WHAT?!”* _Bursts into fire before breathing and having his hands up._ “You know what? Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. The little twerp probably won’t remember a thing.” _Picks up Pain and Panic by their throats_ “So to correct this little screw up, I’m giving you two a second chance. Aren’t I great boss? In let’s say… a couple years or so, just go by and whisper some lies in his ear. And *don’t* mess it up this time!” _Flames turning red as he drops them, letting them scurry off in panic._
...I now need more of these, and I didn't even know I needed one.
I RECOGNIZE THIS ART STYLE YESSSS CANT BELIEVE YALL WORKED TOGETHER!!!! HEHEHE
Caleb, you’re stealing Lydia’s job
Lydia = female protag villains
Caleb = male protag villains :)
Jon: am I a joke to you?
Zeus: Stop this madness boy, you can't defeat me!
Hercules: I Know. But He can
Kratos: ZEEEEUUUUUS!!!
Zeus: oh F*ck
This is really cool. I love how different and melancholy the vibe is. A really neat evil twist on a Disney classic with some lovely art attached. Everyone involved did great!
Good video. Merry Christmas Caleb, hope you and your family are having a wonderful holiday season and God bless y’all💙🙏
This is a great Christmas gift
So Caleb is the male Lydia now? I'm here for that.
Maybe she could even help with rewritting the lyrics. Be amazing to see you two collab and really fill out the vilanized hero songs.
Yes I like your idea 😊❤
Hercules Caleb is everything!
Damn this truly rocked me to my core it was beautifully done
Hercules was always my favorite movie. To see him like this is fascinating but also hurts my childhood.
This is incredible!💛💪🦹♂️🎶
The animation is definitely Lydia’s work.
“With no other choice. In order to save his love soul. He hast to overthrow…his father!”
Caleb Hyles & Lydia The Bard:Protag Villain Duo😈🎵🎶🎤
Huh. Didn't know there was another song in Epic the Musical that I missed
I literally watch this right after the last saga
Weird it wasn't in the itcha saga
More of this hero turned villains please!
Yes I like your idea 😊❤
I SAW THE MAEPLE ART AND GOT HERE AS FAST AS I COULD! THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD!!! :D
What if this is an AU where BOTH villain songs are happening at the same time? (Referring to Meg's Villain song by Lydia)
Like the hatred Herc had is the reason he walked away from Meg. She's taking over the underworld while he's trying to take over Olympus
Caleb you magnificent son of a gun, one of my favorite disney songs as a villain song??? Truely a christmas gift of the ages
Imagine if this is going on at the same time as Meg's villain song and they end up fighting each other.
The second I saw the thumbnail art I knew it was Maepletea!
Merry Christmas to Caleb Hyles!
Oh, so we have to figure out the story. Let's see...
Herc's human family is killed, and he's mourning. He figured out Zeus is his birth father that everyone prays to, but when they actually needed him, when Herc needed Zeus, Zeus never showed up. Zeus is a God, he can do whatever he wants... So why did he let his family die? Why did he let everyone hurt him through his life? Why didn't he come and say "I miss you, kid."? Why did he leave him to figure everything out himself? So he starts the Hero Journey, but with a twist.
With a bitter heart.
He has a moment when his heart softens, with Meg, but she's around Hades fingers. She can't do anything Hades refuses.
Another God against him. But he's still a hero, and heroes save mortals.
He asks Hades what he wants for Meg's freedom.
The downfall of Zeus.
Well, its a good thing his heart is already bitter against Zeus.
This is a very interesting concept. We need more of these alignment swapped songs. :D
Ohhh, those Zeus genetics are really coming out... Amazing work, Caleb! The artist did amazing, aswell! ❤
The amazing Maepletea jumpscare! Love you both!
Didn’t know that I needed to hear this for Christmas.😕🙂
I think Lydia and Caleb would be a good Disney villain twins
I NEED THAT
@Hana_Hsame here 😊
OMG I LOVE THIS SOOOOO MUCH !! Hercules was always my favorite Disney movie !!
What a cool project and idea! Everyone's work is really showing here :D
I love Disney hero to villain songs! You do such good work Caleb.
Thanks for yet another amazing villain cover Caleb, Merry Christmas and *please* hug your furbabies all 🎄💙🐱💙🎄
LEZGOOO MAEPLE HYPE
MAEPLE IN THE HOUSE
Let's go. The first time I listened to Lydia's princess villain songs a year ago, I automatic thought you should do the male villain songs and here we are.
you should totally do this as a spinoff of @lydiathebard's villain princess series. i can see it being popular.
Here's my take on a story for this. Hades somehow learns Hercules was alive sooner than in the movie (maybe Pain and Panic actually tell the truth). At first he's furious of course but then he realizes he has an opportunity here. After all, the boy is still young and impressionable. So Hades finds Herc, telling him of his Godly origin but twists the tale to make it seem like Zeus abandoned him.
Its Hades who then trains Herc with promises that one day, he'd help him claim his place as a God. During this time Herc meets Meg and does fall for her, however due to his alliance with Hades, the feeling is not mutual this time. Still, Hades uses Herc's love as an extra motivator, fully revealing he has Meg's soul and that as an extra bonus, will set her free as long as Herc takes down Zeus.
When the titan's are set free Herc does have a brief moment of hesitation until Hades reminds him of his ownership of Meg, this is enough to drive Herc to Olympus and face the Gods once and for all As Hades simply sits back and watches the show
GOT THEM CHILLS! Beautiful work!
Oh goodie a villain song on Christmas day! YAY!
He's gone from singing villain songs to making villain arcs. You love to see it.
Now we need a dark "Just can't wait to be king" with an adult Simba!
YOOOO this was amazing! I loved the way you changed the lyrics, especially to “take where I belong”. And the animatic was super epic as well!
Paragraph Time:
In my mind, Hercules finds the coin from Zeus early on, and has always held some resentment for him. But he plays the long game. Trains with Phil, gets the fame and glory. But in this timeline, he fails. Maybe he saves Meg and she leaves him, or maybe he doesn’t save her at all. Zeus wants to welcome him into Olympus all the same, but when Herc’s powers manifest, he charges to Olympus on his own terms to take it down.
Ok, I did NOT know I needed this!
That last line...
Pure perfection
Chills... Holy crap.
Somewhere Kratos feels a cool, soothing breeze knowing somewhere Zeus is getting what's coming to him.
I almost wish this animatic explored the original mythos, with the song playing to the various trials Heracles actually went through, his families blood on his hands all the while.
Guess Hercules learn the most important thing….
Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves
This feels almost like an extension of the one Lydia made for Meg
Kind of a weird Christmas drop, but I’m here for it
OMG this was amazing! Id love to see more Hero as Villain songs! Ooh maybe Simba or Aladdin! That could be awesome!
Yes I like your ideas 😊❤
Lydia the Bard should totally watch this.
She did and commented!
Merry Christmas caleb! Thanks For this gift! 🎁🎄❤️
A child that is not loved by its village will eventually burn it down to seak its warmth.
MORE VILLAIN VERSION SONGS PLSSS
That was great! I love the story told, speaks to my soul! Also, Merry Christmas, Caleb.
Well, I'll be danged. And here I thought MikyMelodies was only one to do villain covers of heroes
“So you think im evil maybe you are right, so lets finish this fight so i can out out your light”
This does give off Injustice/Justice Lords Superman vibes
First Epic and now this. Greekmyth fans are being blessed for 2025.
Omg so so so epic thank you THE CHILLS CALEB, THE CHILLS
Never been this early, but sounds great and merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, and it's honestly alarming how quickly I clicked on this video.
This is less so the santizied hero Hercules... rather the beastly legend of Heracles (if you know, you know)
This song fits Luke Castellan from the Percy Jackson series, too, in being a demigod who snapped at the Gods neglecting their kids
OMG youre so real for that
If you and Lydia do a collab, I will die from happiness!
Yes please ☺
I never clicked so fast on one of your videos
Herc is on his Kratos arc
The universe where the male main characters are twisted:
Hercules didn’t bounce back and prove his best…
The lack of godly support from his dad lead him to seek advice from his Uncle, Hades.
With Hades words, he uses his demigod power to force Zeus to meet him…
And that’s the day the Greeks say the skies were under a new ruler…
Right during the Ithaca saga!
I love it! I'm so happy i'm here for this
Just got here from epic this is truly a Greek day for yt music
Major to minor delux! Fire bro
This would fit well with Luke or dark Percy. ❤
YOOOO, A MALE VILLAIN SONG BY CALEBS?? WOOOO
This is so EPIC!
And here we see what would have happened had Hera not been the mom.
But who would be the mother
@lucasvraspir8611 This would be the more myth accurate version so pick any attractive mortal woman in ancient greek.
This is fantastically done! ❤
Love it. Hope you do the rest
Caleb. I think I speak for everyone when…. You gotta do more!!!!!!
Oooooooo! Awesome! ❤❤❤
This is beautifull🥺❤️
WOW. JUST WOW.
Super wicked cool and awesome! Merry Christmas, Caleb! 😈🦹♂❤💚🎄🎁🎅
