My cp99, m92fs, 1911, and mp45 all are double/single action. You can either use them in DA or cock the rear of the slide before every shot to reduce the trigger pull greatly.
There’s a rail under the barrel in front of the trigger guard to mount a laser site I’m not sure that you can replace the rear iron sight with fibre optic etc alter there is an a small hex key nut for adjustment
My local gun shop sells 12 bottles for £8 not sure if that’s good or not but it’s only a mile from where I live so I save on fuel getting them from there

No just cock the back to load the ring mag then the co2 turns it semi auto no need to cock back half until you reload

Sounds like you might need a new spring for the trigger maybe and new rubber seals for the co2 leak
