The cards lighting up never really indicate the version of Mass Destruction being played, but rather the game from which the verse originated. "Fears awake anger beats loud…" -> OG P3 "I thought I told you to sit down…" -> FES "Fears cut deep…" -> Reload The instrumentals remained consistent throughout as I said in the description. Honestly yeah, I can see why some people were confused over it, wondering why the OG P3 never played at the beginning despite the card being lit up, and I really apologize!🙇That was a poor editing choice on my part. Anyway, that's prolly it. I'm glad that people are enjoying this mix, and I hope y'all are having fun with P3R. it's been a blast so far for me💥💥💥

Battleground's right here It's a man's world Come on Gotta get ready for this right here Hey yo" All the verses are from the Reload one since the quality is better and it's more easy to understand what they are singing, with the original P3 chorus being used in the middle of the P3R chorus, alternating and dueting.
Man, this is a masterpiece. Fan service at its finest! you got both Azumi and Yumi singing throughout, you also put the original "intro lines" into the P3 one, and the time marker of the video follows the music section. Great job!!! I'm saving this one

Bruh, the first time I heard P3R Mass Destruction I thought Azumi wasn't performing too well, but now this mash up has finally reconciled both the old and new versions to me 😭❤
I think I know why it feels somewhat wrong. The vocals are cleaner, they pronounce the words much more closely to how they must sound, and it cuts through the melody to our brain instead of being much closer to being yet another instrument. It feels less as a raw expression and more like a rehearsed play.
Try seeking the one where it is a dual mix of Reload Mass Destruction with the original instrumental, that one is amazing. The original instrumental is what the new one lacks, Azumi is pretty fine.

A small part of this is in the final motion down, where in the Reload version a jump down to the 4th note from the end is half a tone too short, turning the motion from jazzy into bog standard. It's not much, but it's adding to my feelings.

@MC_Hammerpants It wouldn't mesh well with the other songs like "Full Moon, Full Life" or "It's Going Down Now". Different singers are understandable for costumes or a crossover game, but not for a full remake of a game.

Yeah the only place it took some getting used to for me was with Mass destruction really but after hearing years of the original and fes, it didn’t take long for the reload version to grow on me and stand pretty much equally with them. I actually like the little pronunciation differences now and even the ‘frog noise’ though I do worry that bit will get annoying over time (but that’s irrelevant to the singing). The new songs were instant persona classics so they definitely helped me grow attached to the new singer

I was lamenting how the newer version overall sounds better with the instrumentals and Azumi's voice is really great, but something about the punch of Yumi's "Baby Baby"s from before was missing. I feel like Azumi says it as "bay-bee bay-bee" while Yumi says it more like "bay-bee bay-beh" which just has more pizzazz. So this mashup is the best of both worlds, especially when they harmonize.
FINALLY I FOUND THE THING I WAS WAITING FOR i'd also call this the "Full Reload Mix" and anyways, thank you so much. nice touch for using the RELOAD instrumental for the entirety as it gives a strong sense of coherency
