One thing I want to put out there before anyone decides to be a bad actor and say stuff like "Guess nanashi is black agency behind the scenes" or something is that members who left have done so for personal reasons (pursuing separate goals) or due to health concerns. The thing is, based from Tirol's experience (who may I reminded you was on a *2 year hiatus*) Nanashi Inc has been very supportive of her and her fellow talents and she only ever has positive things to say about them. In Kiki's case, it would not surprise me if there were discussions with her on if she'd like it to be a hiatus (similar to Tirol) rather than straight retirement, but she opted for the latter because hers was more mental than physical.
Tirol's case is a good example. I'd say it was also in large part mental for her though. Yes she had a lot of problems with her bad eyesight and whatnot, but what prompted her break was criticism on Twitter and she still has PTSD from that and is so scared of Twitter notifications that she lets her manager post for her there and forward fanart to her and stuff. But that's just another example of how supportive Nanashi is.
Not a great year to be a Nanashi fan... especially when 3 of your favorites get hit in a row. I've only clipped Kiki sporadically but I always liked her a lot and wished I could have more time for her, so I'll try to make a couple more before she's gone... but not sure how much I can do because it came completely out of left field for me and I don't really have a backlog for her to work on like I did with Chris.
@@YoshiChao850 Nemo actually said on stream yesterday that she's already discussing plans for next year with her manager and reassured us that she's not leaving anytime soon.
Mary went off on X to as far as wanting to unbirth Kiki and the rest of 774 (to turn them purple). Wildest response to a graduation I've seen from a colleague. Will miss Kiki's creepy giggle, a lot of them during the long Blue Archive streams (at least she finished Volume F).
@@someoneboring I think I can't link it here but the post starts from her quoting the graduation announcement. Mary also covered it during her Monday morning stream with 774inc's recap around 5:53
man, I know that downward spiral all too well good on her for taking charge of her mental health and her life i hope she finds something that is easier and healthier for her
This is sad since Kiki is probably one of my favorite. Be it design or voice or content. But on the other hand, it's not like this is really surprising with all of the health related break. Thanks for the clip.
Thank you for the translations as always rippy. I'm still letting out some heavy sighs whenever I'm reminded she won't be around for much longer, her streams have been a big comfort to me, so I'll definitely miss her a lot, as I'm sure we all will. I can only hope she will be happy from now on, and that she's pursuing what's best for her. I wish her only the best.
This is really sad for me. Kiki was the only one in nanashiinku I was really watching the streams of. At least she had alot of fun doing BA and has some good streams lined up but the channel is gonna get privated after so :(
Sad to see her go, Kiki was the first in her group I took a liking to. I'm glad she's prioritizing her health though, the pressure to live up to expectations combined with being hard on herself over it is the kind of thing we hear most about for any content creator that chooses to exit the stage. Sounds like she's already made improvements so I hope she's able to take care of herself out there. Appreciate the clip as always, rippy. I saw the twitter announcement but couldn't get the context besides seeing support from other Nanashi members, so this helps a lot.
Damn Kiki was basically the reason I found out about Nanashi, only caught her streams every now and then but sucks to hear about the health issues and that being why she's graduating.
Hard to believe she debuted 2.5 years ago, time sure flies. Kiki was one of my favorites in the group and the announcement was honestly unexpected to me, considering she's been pretty consistent with streams lately and found her niche with Blue Archive content. I wish her the best, she'll be missed.
That's what surprised me the most about the announcement too. It felt like she's been streaming more this year than the previous ones, and she also became closer friends with some of the other members (especially with Neru recently), so it's surprising that the main issue is self-loathing from feeling like she's not doing enough. Goes to show you really never know what another person is going through.
most likely not. As she said, feeling guilty when not being able to stream and the generall pressure of being a internet figure was simply impacting her mental state to the point of having very physical consequences. The problems would still be there if she was indie. Being a streamer is rather emotionally taxing, and she seems to be sensitive towards it. I wish I could give her a hug, she seems really sweet. Wish her the absolute best
I'd say that's pretty harsh... they've made pretty big improvements in terms of 3D concert quality, merch quality and music production, for example. It's not like people didn't leave before the merge.
i thought they weren't doing too well for the longest time already... or maybe they are if it was still 2020 - they kinda didn't grow very quickly. i remember Haneru lamenting why they're not taking off even though everyone is so cute the debut of Hiyoku no Crosspiece went largely unnoticed outside of Japan i'm not sure of the timeline, but didn't Anna leaving Sugar Lyric, Patra leaving, and Met transferring all happened before the merge?
@@rippypy I dont know, its just the vibe im getting. The 3D music stuff is good thing. But as im mainly a livestream watcher... Allowing bare hand and irl body stream, reworking the models, lost their unique group theme... Just feel like different management that might throw off old fans.

i doubt a hiatus would have helped
she was feeling guilty for not doing work, so it would just continue the downward spiral
