      I purchased the chebe castor oil and using it. I also have the Haitian castor oil and the Jamaican black castor oil. When am in my feelings I decide which to use in my product. I'm used to the Jamaican black castor oil so this chebe is new to me.

      No, Chebe should not be used on the scalp

    Ok to get rid of those particles. Get a hard brush the wood ones with a handle. Get some cheap stockings put the brush inside of the stocking and brush your hair thoroughly 2 or 3 times your hair should be free of particles.

    Great recipe! Only thing it says in the description you need 1/2 oz EVOO but you actually use 1/2 a cup in the video ;).

      You do not need one, this is an anyhydrous mixture, (all oils) so no preservative is needed. Now If you are using oils that have a small shelf life then you can use an antioxidant to extend the shelf life like vitamin E

      Some other videos show doing an oil to oil the scalp some say they use as a paste or cream on just the shaft of the hair because it may cause itching.

      So if my hair were short hair . I would avoid the scalp. Maybe even apply a Butter or blue magic to protect the scalp like they do with relaxer applications.

    Is the mowah butter comparable to cocoa or maybe kokum butter?

      I actually havent tried Kokum butter, but from what I read, its probably closer to Kokum then Cocoa butter. Mowrah butter has a lower melting point around 80 so its firm but melts easier. I know Cocoa butter is much harder.

      @@NowIAmNappy Yes your right i jabe all three Mowrah, cocoa butter and kokum. Mowrah butter smelt very fast and it runs in easy ok the skin.

      Umm it might be, it might be a lot of mixing and may not get a fluffy but it can still be effective

      You can substitute it with another butter like mango butter

      @@melahd6604 yes major difference, creams have water and water based ingredients and humectants, which provide hair with hydration and moisture while butters only have oils ans butters to seal the hair

    So I tried your recipe can you tell me what would be the reason for it not thicken and turning white ? I've been wiskying for about 10 mins then putting back in the fridge for about 30 mins repeated twice so far this time I put it in the freezer it got a lil more thicker but not fluffy?

      Update: I left in the fridge for ten minutes and whisked on high, after about 8 minutes it became fluffy, hope this helped

    Love the hair! the smell of chebe is awful, I feel it’s taboo nobody speaks of it! so I made the oil which isn’t half bad I added essential peppermint oil! Your hair has thickened and growing like weeds🤩

      The smell of chebe shouldn't be awful. Yoi may have gotten a bad batch 🤔. Please look into Cbabes on Amazon her chebe smells like cloves and she has a youtube channel. I purchased chebe from Ms sahel and requested a.refund bc her powder smell like 🚬 smoke.

      that’s who I’ve gotten mines from was from ms Sahel! I’ll just deal with it because my hair is nice and moisturized. I just made an Chebe oil and added essential oil to it for the smell. But who did u get your new batch from for future reference?
