    I love your content. You've inspired me to start DIYing hair and body care. Why did you use Guar vs Xanthan Gum because of the BTMS 50?

      Because BTMS is a cationic emulsifier and xanthan gum is incompatible with certain cationic ingredients causing the emulsion to destabilize

    my hair type is 4c, well 60% of it is. the rest of it is just 4a and 3c clumps. it looks really good when i use the chebe cream you made. looks really cute in buns

    Is there a difference with BTMS 50 with/without cetearyl alcohol? I wanted to make sure I purchase correct one

      Yes one is btms 50 and the other is btms 25 or 225. The btms 50 is more conditioning

    Did you use BTMS 50?
    Can I use olivem 1000 inplace of it. Would it be okay if it touches my scalp or as always I have to avoid my scalp.

      I wouldn't recommend making this without the BTMS 50 only bc i haven't seen one diy leave-in conditioner yet without it, but maybe you can try... ironically I did end up using olivem 1000 (~3g) in addition TO the BTMS only because I had no xantham gum.
