Well to make This in Blender. (again cause im bored LUL) one of my fav methods is pretty much using a Curve + Screw Modifier. Pretty much Works the Same as Shown in the Video. Draw the Outline of the Object. and then use the Screw Modifier. There is some Differences Like the Screw Modifier has Sub-D inside of it so just Modify that to your Desired Smoothness.. and once you are Done modeling it just Convert it back to Mesh by right clicking it and Selecting 'Convert To" - "Mesh" so you can add that Sweet Sweet UV unwrap.
