The new RTX SUPER series has been phenomenal. The 4070 Super has been great for me, handles everything I throws at it, I still some how getting 70 fps on CP2077 even with 4K texture mods and modded RT settings at 1440p

do not rely on the overclocking on the 7900gre. at most i can get a 5% kinda stable boost on mine with driver timeout error every now and then. 4% is stable though. seen some yt videos get 10- 15 % .
The 4070 super is the beat card of any offering this generation purely for all of the extra tech you get with nvidia for gamers and streamers and the fact it can compete in raster against the 7900gre. I mean its just a super good price/performance ratio compared to the other cards. Get it super? Haha but for real it's an amazing card best we have seen in a while for the price.
Okay. So my favorite gpu are RTX 4070 ti super, RTX 4090, RX 7800 xt, 7900 xt, 7900 xtx, 7900 gre, 7700 xt, RX 6800, 6750/6700 xt, 6650 xt, 6600 and RTX 3060 12gb. Also rtx 4060 8gb alternative gpu is a great gpu card.
6750 definitely. It allows you to play 1080p and 1440p with zero issues and you can content create with it without breaking the bank. It’s a dream lower budget build GPU.
I was thinking of getting a 4070 Super or Ti Super but got 7900 XT instead. Better rasterization, more VRAM, FSR got better, AMD's Fluid Motion Frames is also really cool

In that $180-$200 pri e range you may want to consider buying used from Ebay. You can find used 2080s/ti/super and 6700s. But if you want to buy new the 6600 is stronger.
6700xt for 300 ia best in 1080p high frames and mid frame 1440p and even does alienware aw3423dwf ultrawide. Utilizing only 70-80%. And if you have a samsung tv. Samsung in game mode fixes stuttering and played it well on a 65 inch tv lol
The only important rule for a gamer in 2024 and moving forward is, don't buy Nvidia. Radeon and Arc is the two platforms too support right now if we want a healthier market in the future. Doesn't matter how good the cards Jensen is putting out is.
I think you have a misunderstanding about the RTX 4070TI. 12GB aren’t currently the problem. It may become a problem in the next few years and then you might have to play at 1440p instead of 4k. Current AAA games use between 4 to 10GB VRAM but not more.
I disagree bro, it depends on the settings, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra + RT 1440p does require a little more. Hogwarts legacy 4K Ultra does require more in certain areas of the map as well. Ofc it is in very specific games and settings but still :)
True. But I think the reason isn’t the superior graphics of that games. I think it is poor optimization during development. In gaming they often have to look for the weakest GPU‘s in the market. Many people still have 8GB cards and they want to sell their games to these people too. I think they can’t really design games for more then 12GB in the next years. I agree that I wouldn’t buy a 4070TI for full price right now, but they come very close to the 4070 Super in regards to pricing. ( and also deliver significantly more performance)
They are also the cheapest cards that can reasonably do raytracing in high resolution and high settings. They kill the 7900XTX when it comes to those disciplines.

I bought the 4070 TI Super for 1440p gaming and it is big jump up from my RX 6700 XT. The 4070 TI Super isn't a 4070 GPU It's a cut down 4080 GPU. AD103 is the 4080 chip found in 4070 TI Super. AD104 is the chip for the rest of the 4070s.
From Nvidia. 4090 From AMD. Any card from the last three years it is a good choice unless you want to spend $2000. Every single Nvidia card that’s not a 4090 that is only going to be used for gaming is a dumb ass purchase.
19:58 thats another thing, many people believe RT is impossible on amd wich is far from the truth, i hope RDNA 4 comes out before rx 5000 and manage to compete with the TI super and maybe even the 4080 at lower prices or at least the first of the 2 wich is more realistic... Path tracing i wouldnt expect anything before RDNA 5... not like there was any game using PT announced for the rest of the year anyway... AMD still needs to get better at that, FSR 3.1 we need to see how good that is aswell... time will tell.
RDNA3 is never even good at ray tracing, and I’m not talking about path tracing. Most ray tracing benchmarks are very misleading. They often include games that ONLY implemented some form of half bake RT shadow like the Resident Evil remake series. These games don’t actually ray traced but just brute force this one lightweight RT setting with rasterization and then call it “ray tracing”. That’s why you never see these games implemented something RT heavy like RT reflection. That’s why in most of these games, even with RT on, you will see the XTX crushed something like the 4070 SUPER because all it’s doing is rasterization, however what you also see is that their is no visual difference RT on and RT off and often times RT on would make the games look worse. In games that actually implemented ray tracing, like CP2077 and Alan Wake 2, and new games like Hell’s Blade 2, even the XTX would struggle against the 4070 non super with RT on and that’s me being optimistic. RDNA4 may improve ray tracing but with the RTX 5000 series is rumored improve RT performance by 2x, AMD is severely lacking the power to even compete with NVIDIA in this department.

Fortnite, I need to run 1080p on my oled 49" odyssey on all low settings to even get "stable 240fps" however when using the gforce performance tracker thing it's still showing im at like 180fps 99% lows. Was chatting about this on another post of yours but I'm just outta ideas on why my gpu and cpu only run at 50-60% and why I only get this much fps on lowest settings.

yes and no, in the higher end market, Nvidia GPUs can be great even at a higher price, some people do care about more than just gaming. But if you don't care about DLSS, or RT performance (and you don't do any 3D rendering / Content Creation) then yes, AMD always has the better FPS per $ for gaming
I am not interested in your ranking. RAW performance was relevant 10 years ago. Now much relevant are the ray tracing performance, the upscaler quality and the power draw.
16 GB of VRAM is more than enough for 4K mate, in fact, your 7900XTX will never used that 8 extra GB of VRAM it has over the 4080 super if the heaviest thing you ever do with it is gaming. Still, since you bought it already, the 7900xtx is fine, just don’t turn on ray tracing, even AMD’s best cards struggle with ray tracing at 1080p against NVIDIA’s low-mid range GPUs.

No, the current driver already draw out the best of the 7600, if you want more performance, you have to get a new GPU.

Depends on the CPU you have currently, I found that paired with a i7-12700 CPU then yes it runs smooth on 1440p and it should work perfectly fine.
