I recently got back into starfield and completely agree with you. It still manages to make hours disappear with discovery and makes me search for ship locations etc. I modded the game to take loading screens out and i find it a better experience as I fast travel everywhere anyway
I'm not going to tell anybody they can't have their own opinion but....

The changes they've made to the game in the year since release (modular difficulty settings, maps, rev-8) have been really impactful.
I get the feeling Shattered Space is going to tie all of that together & we're really going to see this game's potential now.
I see this as a reward for those of us who've been patient. Ok, in a parallel universe the game could have released with a rev-8 & va'ruun kai already there. Who cares?
I can see DLCs arriving much sooner than 1 per year as well. Exciting times!
Starfield is a game that is gonna live forever. With Bethesda's modding tools released, this is Fallout on steroids. You can create cities on planets and moons. Just imagine Starfield's version of Fallout: London

This game really didn't deserve the hate people way overhyped what it was going to be similar to cyberpunk
I played cyberpunk in the run up to starfield & whilst i could see it was a brilliant game, i dropped it in a second for starfield & never looked back. I'm so glad starfield is it's own thing tbh. 😂

Starfield is better than anything from Rockstar.
If the dlc could work as a standalone game, where you're stuck on where the dlc story is based until you buy the full game.
They haven't moved on. They know the DLC looks good and have started getting mad again.
