I have both of these and I'm an affiliate of both but have never been asked to say anything one way or the other. Honestly, i like the grip and shape better on the Grizzly and I like the internals and slide better of the Dagger. I've had same experience with holsters. When doing mag dumps on them both, hot barrel, I had multiple stove pipes on the Grizzly when using same ammo and load. I think it was due to the slide guide rod and spring. The plastic/polymer used for rod on the Grizzly felt much flimsier and the tip was angled under spring pressure. I do not like to grip and shape of dagger frame and will be reworking mine. Appreciate all your honest reviews. Been following for a minute. Great work!!
@RTTGunsGear as far as the dagger slide the firing pin broke on a snap cap. That got changed as well with a 17-4 stainless steel shadow systems striker assembly
I've sold quite a few of them already at $399. The one we added to our range rental fleet has been reliable and is holding up well so far. I also kept one aside to break in and test that I plan on gifting to a family member in a few months. They're hard to beat currently if you're shopping in that price range.
I own a couple of PSA Daggers with thousands of rounds through each and I think you were spot on with your gripes about the frame. Reliable yes but fix the mag catch, trigger, and that finger hump. Looking forward to an update on the 2311 Brat.
So this is the second video of yours I've watched and with the brand new intro you have just earned yourself a fan I definitely hit that subscribe button and would honestly say that should be the intro to all your videos from your own out do you have a plan to do battle of the Glock clones I'm looking to get a pistol that takes Glock magazines I currently EDC the best budget gun on the market the Taurus gx4 carry model but would like something to have magazine compatibility with friends in case
@daronporter5538 I appreciate that! I haven't done an overall Glock clone comparison. But to be honest. Anyone looking for a Glock clone that won't break the bank...Grit Grips. Hands down the best I've seen. They sell complete frames and complete slides to make one pistol. It's the best I've seen for the money
Great Video , untill recently getting the RXM and putting a little over 2k on it , i would have said either is a good option for budget minded folks, but i believe the Ruger RXM is far superior for the cost. I have a lot of experience with daggers but none with the Bear Creek , so I'll defer to you on that. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Ruger.
@Average_Joe_Arms I appreciate it man! And I should be getting the RXM soon. I have two FFL's that are planning to get me one. So whichever does it first gets the video..lol.
Superb video, Matt. Really enjoyed this comparison. I dont have nor have shot the grizzly but looks like it deserved the win. I also really dislike the Daggers’ factory trigger and finger groove. Bummer you didnt like the Combat Armory CA19. I really enjoy mine. Again, good video! now, would you say that the RXM, Dagger and Grizzly all fall into the same category or the RXM has a bit of an edge over the other two?
@DesertTactical Maybe the same category (compact, polymer frame, 9mm). But as a comparison, one takes Glock components that you can mix and match and tune to your specific needs using a mountain of Glock aftermarket parts. The other is an RXM that as of right now, can't compete with that type of versatility. The RXM takes Glock slides and by everything I've seen, is somewhat magazine finicky. The RXM and the aftermarket have a very very very long way to go to compete with the likes of Grit Grips, Anderson, and even Bear Creek.
@@11C1P Ruger is making a grip that takes Glock slides. Far far from being a clone. But agreed. When everyone is attempting to copy you. You know you have something! That's for sure.
The thin width of the palm hump on the PSA dagger becomes extremely painful after a few rounds. I think if they widened that hump, it wouldn't be so bad. But yeah, as is, it sux.
@@RTTGunsGear I put together a dagger.. but using all glock components and a Glock "-" connector. But you're right... the dagger trigger is hammered dog shit.

@hopewilliams6705 I appreciate that. There's FAR too many softball reviews and comparisons out there by people who don't want to make a company mad, of because of biases, that it's hard to trust many or most guntubers these days.
@RTTGunsGear I have learned that the had way. And learned that lesson with my hard earned money we have 3 kids and family time almost every weekend is range time and when we waste money on trash that someone got paid to promote it eats away from our family range time.
Ole Dick Twist 🤣🤣🤣, Great Review Matt. The PSA Fanboys are working their tiny little brains trying to justify the lack of texturing on the thumb ledge of their beloved Dagger.
Not really. I mean if a person only has $300, sure. But an OE Glock is a better pistol than either one of these. Glock's are worth $550 all day if you actually take firearms and self defense seriously.
Thank you for this video. I own a dagger that I trust with my life, when I bought the dagger I wanted an ultra reliable handgun that would not break the bank. I am running a vortex red dot and I have a dagger fit IwB holster. I also upgraded the trigger. I train with this pistol, I enjoy shooting it, even though it is snappy. I wanted to know how BCA’a Glock clone measured up against the dagger. In the next year I will be purchasing a new EDC pistol. Not really sure what that pistol will be yet.
@@Rayvisin Not sure what that's all about then. I put one in my cart and got to the point of check out in order to reply to you. But yes, plus FFL is a good point. But both pistols have that. Thanks!
