ok... I just wanted to say thank you but I wanted to put it into Dollar Terms... I was quoted $440 to do the job... $240 if I supplied the aerial... I purchased a genuine aerial off eBay for around $45 delivered and after watching your video I was able to punch the job out in around 15 minutes myself... so around a $400 saving... thank again!!!! :D
This is the same layout as the Great Wall V240 single cab, which is really a Holden cab & chassis with Mitsubishi engine, thanks for the knowledged saved a fortune.
A little late to reply but I have just had to do this and this video was invaluable. Tip: Take care and time getting the old screws out. If you you need to replace them Holden are charging $27.00 each. (That's right $54.00 for the 2 screws). They are however, hen's teeth and they, and the nut inserts are not available in Oz or on the planet, apparently.. The screws can be found at your local Nut and Bolt shop for a few cents each. The nut inserts, good luck.
Thanks for the video. Great help. Though it seemed I pulled too hard and my string came part from the antenna cable and now having hard time to figure out an way to get the new antenna cable back. Any suggestions?
Hi, some dude snapped my antenna. The pillar mount is still intact. Can I buy any cheap antenna and follow your video to connect it? Or does it have to be a pillar mount style specifically for a Holden Rodeo 2004 dual cab? Thank you.
Thanks for the video. I've just replaced mine

I also had someone go to holden and wanted to charge $700 labour for the job. He did not take the offer.
@@DIYChannelSteve Holden dealers are rip offs they wanna charge you the earth… bit like Mack & Kenworth
Yes, its cheaper to buy the antenna from Autobarn just for the screws
@@DIYChannelSteve I got one today from Repco in Butler.. $47 that’s including the bracket on the roof & screws 👍
Just fitted mine… had no dramas with the old screws or anything 👍
