Pawsing For Pets: St. Augustine Humane wants to help Riley find her fur-ever home

St. Augustine Humane wants to introduce Riley Girl to the North Florida community. Riley Girl, is an 8 year old Lab mix. She is spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. Riley is a sweet, gentle soul, with the perfect blend of calm and affection, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a laid-back and loving friend. Riley enjoys leisurely strolls, quiet naps in the sun, and lots of belly rubs. She’s ready to spend her golden years in a home where she’ll be cherished as much as she’ll love you.
Riley Girl is also helping St. Augustine Humane spread the word about SAHS’s 14th Annual Pin up Paws Party. The fundraising “Party with a Purpose” will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the chic White Room in downtown St. Augustine. Tickets are still available but going fast. You can get your tickets at www.pupparty.org. At the party, St. Augustine Humane will unveil the 2025 Pin Up Paws Calendar. Riley is not one of our calendar dogs but could be next year with the right owner. SAHS’s Party for a Purpose will include dinner, live music, and an accompanying silent auction featuring a few extravagant items such as autographed guitars by Jimmy Buffett and Taylor Swift. Other wonderful items such as a water experience with the dolphins at Marineland will also be included. All proceeds raised from the Pin Up Paws Party and the auctions will be used to allow SAHS to continue to provide affordable veterinary care, surgery, grooming, and food for vulnerable pets in our community. SAHS is proud to be a safety net for families when they need it most, thereby reducing the need for pets to be surrendered to shelters.
