The Memorial to The Hollow Knight is very important to The Hollow Knight's build up in my opinion because, you first hear it's name there, you hear about it's incredibly vague sacrifice, and that is resides within the black egg. One of the best moments in my first playthrough.
One thing I found annoying about this boss is that it’s just not what people expect. Its location is right at the beginning. and a surprising number of people never go to the black egg when they first head in the forgotten crossroads. And the marker is putting a bandage on the problem. Still one of my favorites thoufh
The hollow knight is my favorite character in the game. While I prefer Pure Vessel as an actual fight, the hollow knight is a much better boss story wise. Both have amazing music and I love how similar their attacks are. (For example, Pure vessel uses its void tendrils while THK spews infection from it's chest. Pure vessel uses a focus explosion while THK floats in the air wildly spews out infection) You can really see the difference in how the infection has broken THK and taken away almost everything that made it the Pure kings creation. I never get tired of this game and the build up to the hollow knight and later Pure vessel is a major reason.
THK didn't only think about impressing its father and its not like it was hollow before because of how it looks back at the knight not just for a brief moment but they stare and stand still only then does the pale king get their attention so we know they had thoughts most likely about how they wanted to and failed to save hallownest and feeling guilt and regret about not helping the knight which adds to the idea that no being can be truly hollow by the pale kings definition
in my oppinion Soul of Cinder from dark souls 3 is the best final boss build up: there is build up in the boss fight to when he goes to second phase and you end it with the plin plin plon the bossfight: perfect it takes all the builds in the game and makes it into a boss and its decently hard the lore: far past down from gwyns kindling of the flame that then is just a tiny little spark

Just trying to give some constructive criticism, put some emotion or power into your voice. maybe rehearse your script a few times so you are familiar with it, and put more emphasis behind the stuff you are saying. because right now you sound like you are bored by your own video, and I'm not sure that's the vibe you wanna give off.
You forgot the 4th reason why the hollow knight is the best hk boss. Difficulty. When you have every upgrade, the fight is a joke and not a challenge. But when you have bare bones upgrades like during a speedrun the hollow knight becomes harder than any boss in godhome. This makes fits so well because the fight is meant to test you if you can hold the infection. Idk such a good fight.
This video is a 10/10, I don’t know why it took me so long to watch, I can’t imagine how long it took to make. Plz make more vids like this. In my opinion the hk stabbing itself is something else how I goes from a powerfull end game boss that wants to kill you with a dramatic sound track in the background to a boss that wants to end its misery by helping his sibling into ending his life of suffering and taking its place forever it shows that the knight was truly hollow as the white lady said and its almost like the hollow knight new the knight was hollow. In comparison it makes your voiceover stand out like a sore thumb, primarily suffering from the "how do I squeeze my 7 minute script into a 5 minute presentation" problem. However I believe by simply not giving up you're going to resolve this, and earn a bigger audience simultaneously.

Pure Vessel took me ages to defeat consistently. He is such a difficult and cool boss to fight. I haven't played the game in 2 years though, which is definitely a problem now fighting him or NKG.
I think vessels were supposed to be hollow but even the hollow knight fell to the infection because even he had one feeling- he wanted to impress his father
