I remember when I was a youngster, nearly 70 now, my mum used to make a similar type of faggott. I used to help by mincing the ingredients using a hand powered mincer which was attached to the end of the kitchen table. Brings back so many good memories. Thanks so much Mr. Rea.
Congrats on the ripe young age of twentyeventy! I travel all over the country and been trying the local scran, the only thing I can't handle is haggis, would you say this has a similar taste? I can eat almost anything but I have my limits :D.
I plan on starting a rabbit farm here in the states. Your rabbit and hare videos were the reason why I wanted to do it in the first place. Great videos and always rock on!
Mate i luv ya passion... I’ve done your haggis’s and a few of your snag recipes.. All winners.. I’m gonna give this one a fair crack. Keep up the great vids mate.
Good to see you Scott... just rustled up some pigs liver, kidney cooked in lard/butter. Peppercorn white sauce, served with a side of sliced black pudding. Glorious!
Waking up in the middle of the night in the U.S. and not being able to get back to sleep, and then Scott posts a vid and all is right with the world. Thanks for the content mate! You've inspired me to relearn my family trade. Can't wait for your next book.
god it's nice to have a new videos from you popping up in my notifications again I didn't realize how much I missed not seeing them tell now. this makes me wish I was still raising hares they looked so good but it's impossible to find a rabbit to eat in the US now 20 years ago it was easy then the literal bunny huggers killed the sales off now no one will sell them unless it's a pet store I may need a new pet rabbit

nice one mate but can you make a old school liver sausage as the ones we get now days are so weak in taste and look anemic. i love liver sausage sandwich
I got a few hares over the last game season and got the offal from them but they didn't have the lungs in 'em. Have it all vacuum packed sitting in the freezer and I wondered what I was gonna do with it. Problem solved. Look great fella and if they taste as good as they look...
I will most definitely be trying your recipe but I was an instructor and demonstrator for most of my life until I retired and I was enjoining your video so very much, until you sware and thought, ouch not necessary. Did I really hear that, I was so shocked to hear an instructor do that on film, don’t think your good food really needs expletives to explain how good it is
I made a comment on this but it appears to have been removed, I wonder why! Faggots were on sale in the UK by a company called H H Brains from 1925. as always you know your stuff and I have learned lots from your videos but I do wish you'd remove your rings, bracelets and watch before doing what you do, it certainly can't be hygienic

@@MasterHastur If you look at current haggis ingredients in 2021, then probably not, but keep searching for that elusive recipe.

Well made haggis with a whisky sauce is lovely, just find a good recipe.
Good to see you man, we here across the pond missed you.
A magician can pull a rabbit out of a hat but a good butcher can pluck a hare from his arse.

Superb stuff! And that gravy pour scene...😍🤘🔥
"I swear I could have been a surgeon". My dad would say the same thing when we butchered goats
Looks delicious
the only thing i would have done differently
would be to use a good stock to sit them in rather than water..but they do look awesome !!
love your work Scott. You make meat a dessert. x
Always wanted to try them. My grandfather used to complain about having to eat them as a kid. They ain't big over here in the US. Hah.
Well done!!
No mustard Scott lol ...
They looked amazing
Looked very tasty, I would have had it with minted peas and creamy mashed potatoes.

The double-T is important.
It's just a single T in the UK, possibly a double T in the US? i keep making this comment but it gets removed. Who does this and why??
Would have liked his opinion before he drowned it in gravy....
Ha you kill me Scott.
Why the water at the bottom?
Just got a FB warning before I posted this comment. Set them straight about the 3 meanings for the term.
What do you mean?
You told me the reason for the water at the bottom is for the crust to form and stop them from drying out.
bet that would make a lovlegh burger
cracking!
I need to get a electric mincer
I think I know what’s going to happen to the next still-warm roadkill kangaroo I find ;)
Hmmm thought this was something else but at least there three pairs of balls and food.
Welcome back Scott! "I swear, I could have been a surgeon". How many of your patients have made a full recovery so far? lol
Well, they are brown bread by the time they get to him!

I hate how bigots used that word in the title as a derogatory term for homosexual because I actually double take when I hear that word.
