The 9 race win streak by Vettel would‘ve been matched by Max already last season if RB didn‘t fuck up with the fuel in quali in Singapore. Max will probably get it this year if he doesn‘t have bad luck again.
@@0megalul309 Insane to think about the possibility that Schumacher's records could have been nigh unbeatable if it wasn't for a few shenanigans as those. The variables last and this season play much less role with the difference between RB and the rest of the field. The only thing that can be a doubt whether RB wins every single race this year is that Checo is only the 6 or 7th best driver in the top 4 teams. Only better than Stroll and perhaps on the same level as Carlos.
@@stefdth I’d argue carlos is slowly becoming better than checo. He is wasting that red bull seat if you ask me, but replacing him would be a stupid idea
@@onlyviralvibes8386 I think you are missing the point. Schumacher did the full season and worst result was P3. Verstappen has a P2 now. If you suffer car damage by running off, you're toast (look Hungaroring 2021 f.e. where he was clattered into, and couldn't keep pace even with HIS huge talent). The gaps are so much smaller these days than in 2002.
@Die Volvo Gang Yeah that sounds right. Was that the whole Senna Prost debacle for restart rules which ended with both out and just let the Ferraris straight by?
I not only think it's a possibility. But I think we are at the start of Max's win streak that will break the record of Vettels 9. I also think he'll get the most grand chelems in a season, and get the most wins in a season.
With ferrari being second fastest this would be possible I think, but with mercedes i think it might get a bit too hard for him if there's a track where mercedes excel and red bull not so much
I’m so grateful we get to see such a dominant performance in real time. In 10 years, or when Max is no longer on the grid and the sport looks completely difference, we will be glad we got to see this.
On one side yes, on the other, how often do you think about 2011 season and contrary 2008 for example, i very much prefer real battle for championship like in 2021
@@m.g.debruin8294 the whole planet isn’t British, you know that right? A new generation of fans will come who will be bored of seeing max win every time, just like the new gen fans got bored of seeing Hamilton win every time. It’s just the circle of life. Just one more season of this, and people will already be moaning max winning every time, if some aren’t already. Familiarity breeds contempt.
I remember saying only a few races ago we had not seen the best of Max Verstappen this season yet, and got a ton of hate for it because people took it wrong (whats new). Now, we are seeing him at his very best, in complete control, and owning this championship before it's even been decided. Scary form he's in.
Are you sure it might not have been taken wrong on both sides? Maybe what they meant is we're not seeing the best of Max right now because he's literally not pushing! I definitely don't think we're seeing the best of him right now because mate he can literally go so much faster still than what he's showing right now. He's killing the field with his C/D game right now. He doesn't have to bring his A game atm. He could have easily won Spain by more than 45 seconds if he really wanted to push more. So we're not seeing the best of him because he doesn't have to show it at all right now. We got a glimpse in Monaco qualifying what he really can do when he wants to but he doesn't have to raise himself to that level nearly anywhere else right now. Blame checo, mercedes, and ferrari for that. Aston I give grace because they weren't even supposed to be in the shop window this year at all.
@@DrizzydidI blame FIA for not doing games of fairness if they wanted to do a level the playing field. Which these regs were for and now RB is literally going to dominate till the next regs change.
With Max everything is possible, especially in this super reliable era of f1...unless someone develops or crashes him they can do it 2014-2016 how did mercedes lose wins? -reliability -crashing eachother -stuck behind a fast car on straights Red bull now has -super reliability -one driver ahead of the other -fastest on straights
@@alexlacl8730 from what we are seeing now, the RB19 might be better than the W07 (2016) car. that mercedes had the pace to win every single race of the season and only lost one due to hamilton's engine fail at malaysia. of course spain but both drivers took each other out. if nobody catches red bull this season, they will win every race and clearly have the most dominant car of the hybrid era. even the W10 had competition from ferrari's alleged illegal fuel flow and the RB16 had caught up to the W11's aero advantage towards the end of the season.
And these huge leads by max in the race isn't with him pushing 100%. These are 80-90% pushes by him to stay in conservation mode. I really can't wait to see what happens once a different team starts catching up to red bull and forces them to push. Like in 2021. That will be exciting.
Even with the possibility that Max could DNF due to mechanical issues or crashing, Checo could also pick up where he left off assuming he has good qualifying. And I feel like in Red Bull's case a bad thing happening to both drivers at the same time is now becoming unlikely. Even with Monaco I personally think Alonso wouldn't have been able to win in that one. It's one thing to catch up to Max, it's a different thing to actually and successfully pass Max. Even if anyone comes close to him, you can be more than sure he won't give an inch or budge if you want to pass. Max-Red Bull partnership is living proof that you need a good driver and a good car to be the absolute best in the sport.

If it’s never been managed before I’d have to assume it won’t happen now, particularly as there’s more races per year. But Redbull definitely are the favourites to win every race this year
Comparing how brilliant one team, car and driver is against another from a different era is pointless, because you're talking about different rules, different levels of reliability, different levels of danger even. The Senna/Prost record, excellent - in fact as damned near unbelievable as it is (and I was lucky enough to watch it at the time), they could - and did - change engines as often as they wanted - which was often necessary because reliability was often appalling (McLaren that year had an unusually good reliability record). They (all teams that could afford it, not just McLaren by a long shot) used at least one during practice, another during qualifying and yet another for the race. Today's teams basically have to make one engine last over 5 races + at least one sprint race (depending on the scheduling). Today's engines (gearboxes, etc, etc, etc) are exponentially more reliable, but they're not bulletproof. Not to mention the increase in street circuits, which while being tedious to watch, are often the most likely to have someone get taken out by someone else even if they themselves are driving perfectly (not actually just thinking about Max here, this applies across the grid). So from about the start of the second half of this long season, I would be very surprised if Max has a clean run to the end, purely from a reliability POV. If he beats Seb's record of straight wins, or the team beats the simple number of McLaren race wins from '88, it will be an awesome achievement. But I find this record breaking obsession there seems to be at the moment (because of boredom? 🤷🏻♀️) to be a bit pointless. Unlike a sport where it's one person up against other people, no teams involved, and so no technical differences (outside of improvements in training regimes maybe? But that's nothing compared to F1 tech), each time there's a change in the regulations, F1 essentially "resets" itself and so new records should be being set. On an individual level, who will say that Max, as freakishly talented as he is, is a _better_ driver than Fangio, Clark, and the usual list of geniuses behind the wheel. As good as? Absolutely. Better? 🤷🏻♀️ And I honestly believed he'd become an F1 champ when I first saw him in his F3 car in Spa. I even told my husband who walked into the room and asked, that I was watching a future champ. Funnily enough, thanks to the kids growing past kids' tv shows on the weekend, and me not having to "book" tv time for F1 and others, I first tripped over GP2 in Turkey (2006? It was ages ago and I am crap at remembering years, but my memory is great for images and conversations - yay for audiovisual synaesthesia!) and Hubby did the same thing; walked into the room and asked what I was watching. I said "a future F1 champion". It's good to be right! Would I say Max is better even than him, or vice versa? No, because as awesome as Lewis still is, and as recently as he won his _seventh_ title (amazing how many people forget and undermine that achievement), they're mostly in different driving and tech rules generations. I was glad Max was able to get his first WC against Lewis in essentially equal equipment, because so many people were saying he was overrated and worse (again, how quickly people forget...), but I also would like to see Lewis get his 8th before he retires. If only to shut up (or at least quieten a bit) all his childish haters who don't appreciate his talent. Why everyone can't appreciate that we're actually being spoilt by having so many highly talented drivers, and such great reliability despite the limitations, on today's grid? I've been watching F1 for about 50 years. You don't know how lucky we are these days! I don't have a favourite - not since Damon retired lol - but I _do_ appreciate talent, _whoever_ it is that has it. I'm no Alonso fan off-track (his politicking behind the scenes put me off, though I did cheer him onto his WCs at the time), but I sure as hell appreciate his own awesomeness behind the wheel and never begrudge him a great result. And I find that not having a favourite driver or team makes watching easier on the nerves!
I am a Max fan but also I love Lewis and Alonso and also the driving skills of Leclerc.,Norris,Russsel and Piastri seams strong too. Luxury to see so many great drivers at the moment
Many people are saying that we should be grateful to witness this sort of dominance from Max and Red Bull. Why though? It all makes F1 incredibly boring, predictable and not worth watching. Even as a Lewis supporter when he was dominating, I could understand why people got bored and checked out quickly. Even I started to get a little bored after a while. I miss the days of 2012 where we had seven different race winners in the first seven races. I know that it's not realistic to expect that every year, but the severe lack of variation, championship fights and highly interesting narratives along with races consistently being on dull street tracks and overall just borefests is making F1 completely pointless to watch. I used to be one of the most hardcore passionate fans. I'd watch every practice, qualifying and race throughout the whole season. Now I don't watch practice, I occasionally skip on qualifying and now for this season after only seven races I'm already checked out.
We should be grateful to have the privilege to withnes historic greatness. I also believed that during the years Lewis was winning titles. Greatness should be celebrated not hated.
I am a Max fan but he is only dominant after the summer break last year. This year he will be dominant too. He has 3 tittles after this year and I will be happy with that. Hope also that next season more teams are in the mix. I like to see great battles between 5 or 6 drivers and hope that Ferrari is great again
When Mercedes ate the competition in 2020, they changed the rules for '21 just to give rb a chance, I'd like to see the same kind of "fairness" from the FIA for '24.
In those years they forbid also the front wings of the Red Bull and pitstops. And they frozen the engine because it's cost to much. You also can argue over the budget cap but the field is closing up. If AM can make such jump forward other teams can do the same. They already saw the floor,,
@@paulbulk7044 the wings were too flexible and giving the team an unfair advantage, the pitstop ruling was absolute bs, but you can't use that to argue against making specific changes in the rules to favor RBs high rake concept, maybe that was unintentional but it does make you wonder.
I am not talking about 2021but 2018 or 19 . Btw the wings were legal in first place and I have no problem that they correct it later. But Mercedes had also had their advance with the extra power for quilification. No problem with that, that is F1. You try to find something genius. That's for a big part where F1 stands for
@@paulbulk7044 so then why change the rules in '21 ? That's precisely the point I'm trying to make, innovation is synonymous with F1. I was just pointing out how the FIA kills innovation in favor of a fair and more exciting racing, they did it once before and now that we're having yet another team so far ahead of everyone will they do the same ? What are you even trying to prove arguing against me ? What I said was more tongue in cheek rather than an actual accusation and you're defending idk what like your life depends on it
One thing you didn't mention is, with a performance gap like this, why would Red Bull keep developing this car towards the end of the season? At some point they'll switch to investing their limited CFD and wind tunnel time to their 2024 entry. Meanwhile, Mercedes has just made a major change to their aero philosophy, so I expect their development pace to be fairly quick as they take advantage of low-hanging fruit and get to terms with the concept. I don't think Mercedes will *catch* Red Bull by season's end, but I do think the gap will close considerably (only to open up again in 2024, perhaps).
If RB wins all races this season, this season would be very far from boring. Try to imagine the pressure that the TB team would have to endure to achieve that result. Lulu, Fernando, LeClerc & Nando all have the talent & ability to challenge for a win if given a competitive car / team strategy. Towards the end of this season, we expect RB's development program to suffer due to limited wind tunnel time...... which adds even more pressure to the RB team to maintain the the lead.
I see everyone complaining about how boring a pure dominance is from RB, but is really love to see it I think it’s fun to see see a manufacturer crack the code and show us what’s possible with a car to be as fast as possible
Given the budget caps, there is a possibility that RB will start transferring major resources to 2024 after the summer break. This could close the gap, unless the competitors are doing the same. But the runner-up positions are still valuable, so maybe not.
Red Bull winning every race will make it boring if your only reason to watch the race is to find out who won. There is plenty of exciting action going on with Mercedes, Aston Martin, Ferrari etc.
Why would a non-RB car risk it all in turn 1 against a car they can't compete with? Unlike pre '22 regulations, you actually can overtake. While against the spirit of competition when you're fighting for the same spot with multiple competitors, why would you battle the team you're not fighting with? What I'm saying is there's no reason for a Mercedes, AM or even Ferrari to fight RB at the start because they will blitz you on the straights within 3 laps of racing while those same teams are fighting each other. So, there is no reason to take risks while fighting with RB.
8:10 Hungary’s filled with medium to high speed corners all round… It’s front limited to the max and requires aero efficient cars. Mercedes’ cars also love that kind of track, and Lewis is very good there hence why he won there so much. People keep confusing it with Monaco, but it’s not similar at all. It’s more like a mini Barcelona now that the chicane is gone. RB’s current car will absolutely dominate Hungary as well. It won’t even be close unless Mercedes finds 0.3s a lap or more.
Agreed. He's had so, so much sh*t thrown at him the past 2 years or so and I've actually felt the same as you do, that it's good karma doing it's job with him.
to be fair his racecraft left much to be said in 2021. lewis wasn't exactly a saint either but max's on track antics that season especially at brazil, leaves one speechless.
I guarantee RB will take a grid penalty around Spa. They might even go all new components and start from the back and Max will probably still be able to win
If they do it will be Perez task to win. But Max only got his second engine in Barcelona from the 4 allowed . They are on par (6 races with the first engine)
Love how these days Red Bull is so dominant it can easily be said that staying in Verstappens pit window (usually around ~20 seconds) is considered ”keeping him honest” lol
2 of Merc's 10 race win streak are split by one infamous race: Spain 2016. Without that crash, Mercedes would've had a jaw dropping record of 21 consecutive wins which ended on Malaysia (Oh no! NOOOOO!) 2016.
Hi. It's a big possibility. Red Bull is at its peak. A 20-28 seconds advantage to there nearest rival car. (Aston Martin/Mercedes) . RB. have an awesome car, unmatched by other F-! cars at the moment. Only my observation & opinion. Thanks.
There's no way Red Bull will be weak at Montreal... they have the most powerful engine and their DRS is the most efficient as well... they will dominate that weekend too.. the only track where I think Red Bull will be threatened is Singapore... given that Aston Martin improve/maintain their gap to RB.. Alonso will genuinely have a shot at winning that race.. Monaco showed how close it was... Aston's chances would have been even higher if the third sector had not changed from this season onwards..
Powerful engine thing is a myth. All the engines by design produce almost similar power. In this era of regulation, it's just changing a badge. However, they've utilized the engine layout in the best possible way.
@@valkeitos RB would beat them in that department too if they ran their engines to last only two or three races. At least RB understands that the season is longer than that. Hence RB wins championships and ferrari does not. Ferrari himself (Enzo, not the company as a whole) claimed aero is for people who can't build an engine. I'd like to turn it around, engines are basic stuff, but when those are fully developed (which they pretty much are), aero is where the true champs show how good they really are.
People who r saying that F1 is boring because Max and Red Bull is winning every race, have clearly forgotten about the Mercedes dominance from 2014-2020 or r Mercedes fans
Not really, at least we had actual title battles between the Merc drivers in 2014-16 and then Seb and Ferrari were genuinely in the fight in 2017 and 2018. 2019 and 2020 were similar to this though and they were boring too.
There are quite a few people who think RB will stop developing their car soon because it is so dominant already, and therefor they will give wins away later in the season when the title fights are in the pocket already. I personally think that these people forget what team they are dealing with, for every other team it likely would be as stated above, but this is RedBull we're talking about. Where Max might not actively be working on breaking records, and not even caring too much about them atm, the team is a different story, they are "hot for records". And RB is one of a few teams that does not have to care about having enough budget next season, technically they can spend every dime of this year's budget on development, without running a risk of digging into next year's budget. So with that mindset and budget in mind, i would not be surprised one bit if they keep working on this car till the very end, certainly if records are within reach. so... basically, as long as any records are within reach this season, RB will do everything they can to break that record, and upgrades will be key for that. They won't stop developing until their goals have been reached, or their goals are no longer achievable. At least.. that is what i firmly believe, RB is "wired differently".
the most important record for them is a 1-2 in the drivers championship. did you know that they never had that before? even with the dominant 2011 and 2013 cars and now with the 2022 car, they never once finished 1-2 in the championship because webber and perez massively underperformed relative to vettel and verstappen during those dominant years... and to be honest, with checo's recent form, he isn't gonna hold onto p2 much longer if AM's upgrades next week at canada prove to be substantial.
@@no1washerezz yeah RB absolutely wants that 1-2, and indeed, Perez needs to get his game back in gear (or his car...), or that goal of 1-2 will not happen.
Being a Ferrari fan rn really sucks and probably will for many more years! I guess I’m just used to disappointment. And since starting to watch F1 in 2014 domination isn’t really a issue for me. Be only seen 2 real title fights and have had to focus on what’s happening being the front to maintain satisfaction with F1. So I find it hypocritical to praise and look back with reverence at the records Clark, McLaren, Ferrari, Senna, Schumacher, Prost, and Williams have achieved. Currently we call F1 sooo boring but act like because it happened in the past it was exciting to see domination. So just like we hold the record holders of the past in awe we should also look at what Hamilton/ Mercedes did and what Max/ Redbull is doing with equal respect. As long as F1 isn’t a spec series there will always be domination, so if seeing one win too much Indy car, wec, or Fe might suit you better. Or just accept the ‘boring’ aspects of F1 and focus on the exiting parts.
redbull and max deserve this after years of hard work trying to catch merc. i enjoy watching max destroy checo these last 2 seasons. they need to put leclerc in the redbull with max lol
I don’t think it’s likely for Red Bull to win every race. They are clearly ahead of everyone else, but there’s so many factors that can spoil race wins. It’s just like the extremely dominant Mercedes era, where they were far clear of the rest of the field in every race. They still didn’t manage to do it, just because there’s always unpredictable circumstances that can get in the way of winning. I feel like people are forgetting that Mercedes was once just as dominant as Red Bull is right now. If they didn’t manage to do it with less races on the calendar, I highly doubt that RB can with so many races. All the stars would have to be aligned for RB to actually manage to win all 22 races.
I remember watching the whole MotoGP 2019 season. Marc Marquez would have had a victory or second place in every race, bar for one where he crashed out. That season was super forgettable. Only thing I remember is the race he crashed in, where Rossi had a genuine possibly of winning the race and just came short. Problem is, no intra team battles like Hamilton v Rosberg or Hamilton vs Vettel between 2014-2019. Many F1 seasons are quite forgettable, like 2015, simply because nothing happened. And teams can't really catch up, because they are just pushing at the same speed. You really have to find some loophole or something to have any kind of chance. Brute force doesn't work anymore because it's impossible. Oh well
A: they can and probably will win every race. 2: This really, really, indicates we need rule changes. Yes they got their car right outta the gate in 2022, sure. But the rest of the paddock is *nowhere close* and it's been a year. If anything RBR is running away. This needs to change. The restrictions are, and I think this is fairly obvious, actually working to Red Bull's benefit....somehow. Everyone progressed. Redbull more than anyone else. With the most restrictive testing/budget. Actually. Just ditch F1s rules altogether and just become the International Indy series. The more I watch F1 the more I've realized it's not *designed* to be a sport, it's designed to be entertainment. Indy is boxing, F1 is the WWE.
Perfection in a season is an insane thing. I know this is a huge apples to oranges comparison, but I'm making it anyway. At the height of the dominance of the New England Patriots with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, they couldn't put together a perfect NFL season, despite going on a 24 game winning streak across 2 different seasons, and on two separate occasions they lost the Super Bowl to Eli Manning and the Giants. Perfection just requires so many things to go right, and not all of those things are down to skills, good decision making, or other controllable factors.
I think the car is fast enough to win obviously, but for everything to go well in every single weekend will be tricky. It’s never happened before for a reason. I think another team will get a fluke win somewhere
redbull still has to put in the work to maintain their advantage and max/checo still has to drive at an elite level so in my view it's still impressive even with the outright pace advantage
I think this is a real possibility because they are faster on any compound of tyres ,unless there a reliability issue ,I don't see anyone beating the Bulls 😢
Spa and Monza are two tracks every team has circled on the calendar to take grid penalties. If Max started 20th at Spa and Checo didn't get away clean, I can see him winning from the back of the field.
I don't fully agree that this season is super boring. Sure it can be considered boring if you're just looking at the number one spot in the championships, but when you look at the midfield its actually very interesting to observe and see them compete against each other. If you look at the season by excluding Red Bull from your vision, it's a great year in all honesty. It's F1, and not every car is equal just as not every driver is as well. Let Red Bull do their thing and focus on the rest of the grid and you'll enjoy the season a lot more.
On most tracks it doesnt matter ehere max starts. He has proven to be able to win anyway And the Red Bull team are masters at managing the many variables.
Canada will not suit mercedes specifically because it doesnt have many medium to high speed corners. Thats what mercedes excells at. The red bull will be favored for all types of corners. Especially for Max. But he only has competition from Mercedes in trakes with medium to fast sweepers. Like barcelona, silverstone, and brazil. If anyone will fight with red bull at canada it will be aston martin.
I dont think Aston Martin will be able to challenge the Red Bulls in Canada. The Astons aren't that fast on the straights and Canada has quite a lot of them. Red Bull also has double DRS and great aero efficency. The only way Aston can win is if Max becomes a true champion and crashes into the wall of champions. He has to leave his mark there someday, right?
All of this begs the question, if we have just 15 races to go, how many wins would Red Bull need (and Verstappen for that matter) to win the championship SO EARLY that the rest of the season becomes irrelevant?
Please watch WEC (World Endurance Championship) Aldas. It is far more interesting compared to F1 right now. Ferrari are actually competent and fast in it. Would love to see your take on it, with 24 hours of Le Mans this Saturday. Overall, Great video!! Keep it up!!
No, we all thought this with Mercedes year after year and it never happened. There's bound to be something random that stops it from happening at some point.
Imagine any other world class sports league where a team simply doesn't have any challenge to their dominance and wins every match they face by a large and comfortable score. That's F1 right now. And yes, RB will win every single race this year IF Max doesn't have reliability issues.
Like the Premier league? Despite the jeers Premier league is probably more exciting and actually competitive FOR the entire season still in recent years than F1 has been for a long time. I mean the last time a bottom half team won the league was in 2016 with Leicester City that's like Williams coming back to glory by winning both WDC and WCC. That hasn't happened at all in F1.
People were complaining then personally both are boring this one is slightly better imo just because I wanna see max break records just personal opinion
I don't understand why people talk about weather being a factor for Max to have a day off... when he is the fastest driver of the grid in wet conditions 😂
Maybe because weather can destroy strategy and create red flags...giving another driver the same opportunity as Max had the last race in 2021 in AbuDhabi (But I admit that RB will not make the same mistake as Mercedes ...not changing tyres during the VSC and also not during the SC at the end)
As a Hamilton fan, I'm really hoping for the Red Bull to win all the races this year... because then basically everybody would be pressurising the FIA to chanhe something in the rules, because the sport has never been so boring.
@@Yorkshireman5 funny how you ignore 2017 and 2018 when at the half way point vettel was leading. Even in 2019 ferrari and redbull had there moments to compete for wins. 2020 was a whitewash. In Barcelona. What was max true pace. He is only controlling as a backup if safety car or red flag would happen. It's scary also that what upgrades have RB even showed or even are there any major upgrades at all. How early are the team focused on next year.
To me the stupidest thing about this season is not RB being this strong. It´s how there´s NO ONE looking close enough to put up a fight. Mercedes have one race where they look promising, then a stinker. Aston seem to be more of a case of having a car that looks better than it actually is because of Alonso´s skills and Mercedes and Ferrari´s issues. And Ferrari, aside from the memes, literally look on course to end up fighting more with Alpine than with the other two teams.
Verstappen could also set the new wins record again this yr. He has 7 wins and we have 15 races left. He can easily win 10 or 11 of those. He should finish every race on the podium. Quite frankly, he can probably win every race left too

You forgot one. Rival teams developing late into the season while the lead team switched to next years development.

2023 RB Gives me Mercedes 2015 and Ferrari 2002 vibe in terms how dominant those cars were.

Yeah. 2012 is what people should be grateful for, because it's very unlikely to happen.
You can blame the teams for messing up in these regulations for being outright slow
We should be grateful to have the privilege to withnes historic greatness. I also believed that during the years Lewis was winning titles. Greatness should be celebrated not hated.

But Mercedes had also had their advance with the extra power for quilification. No problem with that, that is F1. You try to find something genius. That's for a big part where F1 stands for

Lelclerc's grand slam was more spectacular and this is a fact
I think they'll win all but one. That one no-win race won't be because they're beaten on pace, but because there will be a crash/technical failure.
I said this after bahrain that it's quite possible that red bull will win every race and I still stand by that
I see everyone complaining about how boring a pure dominance is from RB, but is really love to see it I think it’s fun to see see a manufacturer crack the code and show us what’s possible with a car to be as fast as possible
Not really we've spent 8 years seeing this already. Red Bull has done it before its nothing new
Given the budget caps, there is a possibility that RB will start transferring major resources to 2024 after the summer break.
A possibility, but just remember that all it takes is one ambitious driver down turn 1 to completely ruin that streak
Russell getting excited rn 😂😂
just say it... russell it only takes russell crashing into you down turn 1 😂

In my heart of hearts, I still think Alonso will win at least 1.
I guarantee RB will take a grid penalty around Spa. They might even go all new components and start from the back and Max will probably still be able to win
If they do it will be Perez task to win. But Max only got his second engine in Barcelona from the 4 allowed . They are on par (6 races with the first engine)

I think Alonso will win at Budapest, 20 years after his first F1 win at the same circuit in 2003. I just have a feeling Alonso will be on it there.
They don't have the most powerful engine.
Powerful engine thing is a myth. All the engines by design produce almost similar power. In this era of regulation, it's just changing a badge. However, they've utilized the engine layout in the best possible way.
Ferrari have by quite a large margin, the most powerful engine
@@valkeitos RB would beat them in that department too if they ran their engines to last only two or three races. At least RB understands that the season is longer than that. Hence RB wins championships and ferrari does not. Ferrari himself (Enzo, not the company as a whole) claimed aero is for people who can't build an engine. I'd like to turn it around, engines are basic stuff, but when those are fully developed (which they pretty much are), aero is where the true champs show how good they really are.

No they take to much points from each other. The same with Hamilton and Russel.
thery need to put Hamilton in the other Red Bull, so he could fight with Max
Well... Max is not SuperMAX, he is UltraMAX
Merc winning in Brazil again might be the best bet

Year of the Red Bull
I think the car is fast enough to win obviously, but for everything to go well in every single weekend will be tricky. It’s never happened before for a reason. I think another team will get a fluke win somewhere
If Red Bull had Carlos and Checo driving for them this season would be amazing.
redbull still has to put in the work to maintain their advantage and max/checo still has to drive at an elite level so in my view it's still impressive even with the outright pace advantage

This car is 🐐
Lol I just thought of DTS and what they’ll do if Redbull win all the races
I don't fully agree that this season is super boring. Sure it can be considered boring if you're just looking at the number one spot in the championships, but when you look at the midfield its actually very interesting to observe and see them compete against each other. If you look at the season by excluding Red Bull from your vision, it's a great year in all honesty. It's F1, and not every car is equal just as not every driver is as well. Let Red Bull do their thing and focus on the rest of the grid and you'll enjoy the season a lot more.
The regs is super pointless if that's the case should of stuck with 2018 regs rather than pouring money into next regs expecting changes.
Even tho I was -17, I'm getting 1988 vibes just no title fight cos let's be real Checo ain't stopping Max
the length of the season doesn't matter for the streak, Vettel also did it in 2 seasons.
On most tracks it doesnt matter ehere max starts. He has proven to be able to win anyway
And the Red Bull team are masters at managing the many variables.
When Checo is on top form he's close or equal to Max. When Max is at his best he gets grand slam's like this or a drive like SPA last year.
He has to leave his mark there someday, right?
in 2022 Merc was good in Canada. And in Brazil Max was stuck in a wrong setup.
@@m.g.debruin8294 I agree
@@mr.fister4738 haha. Yeah, your probably right.
Just one Alonso win this season, that's all I ask and Max can win every remaining race (he's gonna win over 70% of them anyway)
All of this begs the question, if we have just 15 races to go, how many wins would Red Bull need (and Verstappen for that matter) to win the championship SO EARLY that the rest of the season becomes irrelevant?
Max will just take the penalty at Spa and repeat 2022
Verstappen would have matched vettels record in 2022 if the team didnt make a rookie mistake in singapore
Please watch WEC (World Endurance Championship) Aldas. It is far more interesting compared to F1 right now. Ferrari are actually competent and fast in it. Would love to see your take on it, with 24 hours of Le Mans this Saturday. Overall, Great video!! Keep it up!!
the reason ferrari are competent in wec is because ferrari does not manage the race team
@TIMOTHY S Yes, i know Ferrari AF Corse and Scuderia Ferrari are not the same. But the fact still stands (ferrari being competent).
Funny how this only seems to be a bad thing when it's not Mercedes winning every race.
People were complaining then personally both are boring this one is slightly better imo just because I wanna see max break records just personal opinion
nah people were complaining with merc as well. like a LOT
People complained tons with Mercedes winning, everyone in my office who watched f1 stopped watching it due to it being same results every week
This comment section is a lot different from when Hamilton was winning every race 😂
If it was a choice between spending more time on next year's car, and getting a flawless season, which do you think Red Bull would go for?
Speeding for next year since the championship is a wrap even if mathematically there could be an upset which would be less chance with this RB team.
McClaren did pretty well this weekend, didnt they 😅
AM wanted then to break those records, that's why they pitted Alonso for slicks at Monaco.
As a Hamilton fan, I'm really hoping for the Red Bull to win all the races this year... because then basically everybody would be pressurising the FIA to chanhe something in the rules, because the sport has never been so boring.
Yes, it wasn't boring for 8 seasons when Hamilton was winning. Its only boring now cause your guy isn't doing it
@@Yorkshireman5 Lewis and the Mercedes never won all the races. Yes, it was boring and millions of fans were crying about it...
Nah, the FIA failed on regulating Hamilton. So don't expect much.
@@Yorkshireman5 funny how you ignore 2017 and 2018 when at the half way point vettel was leading. Even in 2019 ferrari and redbull had there moments to compete for wins. 2020 was a whitewash. Imagine max goes on to win 20 out of 22 races without perez getting a look in until 2026. You max fans/orange army are completely delusional because your boy can't be touched. Redbull would never let a competitive driver like Alonso, leclerc or lewis in that second seat. Max wouldn't allow it lmao
@@bookworm9742 In 2014, Mercedes was far more dominant and they couldn't win all the races because of driver errors and realibilty problems. In short, they lost races due to incompetence 🤣.
I'm cool with RB and their fan enjoying that achievement, but God dammit I want some real competition the year after
I hope british fans appreciate his greatness when he retires, and not just toss aside his titles with a dominant car like if they didn't mean anything. Which is what spanish fans have done with Hamilton, and Vettel a bit, please be better than us
Max is a monster, if no one stops him he is going to achieve a 2013 Vettel Season for three or four straight years, perfect driver and car combination. Let's hope he gets more competition in 2024 and 2025, and specially from 2026 onwards. Sadly, i don't quite see Russell, Norris and Leclerc at the level of Alonso and Hamilton, and those two are not going to be good forever. I hope both the young drivers and the teams step it up to give us great battles again!

Quite frankly, he can probably win every race left too
I subcribed. Found youre channel.. Pretty Good..
This year will only be a 21 race calendar so the percentage stat will be slightly different
22
Is there gonna be another race scrapped only you know about or is math not your thing?
