Love this stitch. Can’t wait to try. I have watched a few videos on various channels to learn this stitch and yours was the easiest to follow. Thank you.
Love this! Thanks for sharing. I am using this method with my jewelry making, so now I am a quilter/crafter, paperbead maker, seed bead maker and now a jewelry designer "WOW"!!!
I started this stitch yesterday. The chenille stich is lots of fun and my necklace is coming along and looks great. this will be my "go too" stitch. Thank you for doing the tutorial on the tubular Chenille stitch. All of your tutorials are wonderful.
I totally see what you mean about this chenille stitch..Once you start, you don't want to stop..it is very soothing..I think beading is also good for your brain besides everything else. Thank you 😊
I found this cool stitch last week and made a bracelet using 6/0 seed beads and it came out beautifully .. I have a great ask Jilly question from that project so please look for it in the comments on the video you have in the Ask Jilly playlist. Thanks for being such a great teacher and taking your time to show us all these wonderful techniques. :-)
Hi Jill! I truly appreciate your videos. You are bubbly which is a pleasure and each of your videos are just, excellent! Because of you I know how to look at beads with a hopeful expectation and a creative excitement that I never had before. I really do thank you for sharing your knowledge unselfishly.
Positively ~DELIGHTFUL~ You are Amazing. I can't begin to tell you how many stitches I've learned by watching you, and following along. Always precise, and the "sticky-outtie-bead" is a perfect reference point, and so easy to follow!! I look forward to your videos, and always do a happy dance when I see that you've posted a new one because I KNOW that it will be a good one!! Thank you for all that you do, it is greatly appreciated !!
Jill you are a great teacher and at the same time make your tutorials more interesting and mesmerizing as you add in some humor! I must admit that I made this from another tutorial using bugle beads and am very disappointed as they fall "flat" when I leave it on for a while. I will definitely make this.
I love it! You are so professional...but not uppity at all. Your jewelry tech language is easy for anyone to understand!! Sticky-outy makes me chuckle yet it is perfect for understanding which bead you are referring to! Thanks so much for keeping it simple for us newbies!
I have done some easy stitching, but this is awesome! I did not have 8.0 beads so I am using 6.0. not the look I am looking but it gives me an idea on how it works. I will finish it and post a picture and give it to my daughter. She gets my experiments. I have ordered the 8.0 and will do one for myself. Thank you for the videos. They are the best.
Thank you Jill for sharing this video! I have been wondering how to do this stitch but it looked very complicated, so I avoided learning it. Now, thanks to your wonderful teaching, I feel like I can try it!
OMG I LOVE how easy you make this stitch to do. I've watched many other videos ppl have done and never understood how to do it.. but u do it so well I can do it no problem now..THANK YOU
Ok, I just want to say, the more videos of yours I watch, the more in love with you I am. (professionally of course.) i am new to beading and all I've done do far is 7 tubular herringbone necklaces for the holidays. I mean the only stitch I have done. I'm with you on loving herringbone but wow, this is just gorgeous and your bead color choices are just so beautiful and classy as well. Thanks Jill. This will be my second stitch to learn. To heck with peyote! Lol
I watched video after video after video tying to figure out how to do this stitch. Thank you so much for explaining this in a way that it clicked in my brain! I love the “sticky outie” term you used I have subscribed and plan to watch more of your videos. Once again thanks for making me understand this stitch
Love that stitch, love that tutorial. Made a necklace and a bracelet with tiny but strong magnetic clasps that fit perfectly in that hole and are almost invisible. Thank you.
Fabulous! I just learned the herringbone from your other tutorial and now with this tutorial, I totally understand this stitch... I have watched other tutorials for this but it just didn’t click... this is a great stitch! Thank you for being so patient in your instruction.
I watched and watched another video. I just couldn't see it well enough, she was using 11s and did not narrate! Your's is excellent! Thank you! I think I got it!!!!
Jill I have to admit that I was so intimidated with the smaller beads as a project choice, but I used to love to look at some of the creations that other people made. But after watching your videos I am now actually using seed beads to make my own creations thank you so much please keep your tutorials going I can now do the herringbone and I'm thinking about trying this one as well. Oh yeah and I did make the Russian leaf from your pattern I saw it the other day I think you're the best
Try doing this with a combination of demis (the flat seed beads) for the two and then just a regular seed bead for the one in between -omg - it fits together so tight and it’s crazy pretty!!! 😍
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! Chenille is an awesome stitch. Not only is it beautiful but so easy to do as well. The possibilities are incredible! I have already made the first bracelet, it is just waiting for a clasp!
You recently entered my beading life I & love your videos! I just learned this one yesterday, it took awhile due to user error but once I got it I love it! Thanks!
OMG! i love this stitches & i tought it will be more complicated then that so thank you so much Jill for this great tutorial i'm in love too of this stitches!
Ms. Wiseman--LOVE your videos. Wanted to put a bug in your ear and let you know that I tried this stitch with 8/0 beads as the main color (emerald green) and 11/0 as the cross bead (galvanized gold miyuki) and the results were pretty impressive. The main color stands out more and the gold beads add just the right accent. See what you think!
G'Day my Wonderful Friend, I was recently introduced to this amazing stitch and yes I too fell madly head over heels in love with it. I love doing ropes, my favourite is Cellini but now I would have to say that this one is equal to that stitch. I have be able to finish a bead Embroidered necklace using this stitch to make the rope part. It gave the whole design both elegance and softness to the over all look. It didn't give a dominating look but flowed beautifully from the main central design. And it gave the whole necklace a lovely drape and feel against the skin. Once you are in the rhythm it works up so quickly and if you are counting rows you really do need to keep checking to make sure that you don't do more than you need. It is a wonderful stitch for anyone at any level of beading. Thanks for the video and I can't wait to see what designs you come up with......Blessings
Gracias!!! Es increíble la forma de explicar! Me encanta!!!! Eres una excelente maestra y tus trabajos son hermosos!!! Gracias por compartir tu talento!!! 😘🎉👏
Thank you so much for this video! I was looking for the perfect neck chain for an embroidered peacock pendant and this is it just perfect! I will wrote down how to do it and add it in my copy of Beautiful beaded ropes!
I have to say that I really love this stitch too. It is exactly what I was looking for. I also appreciate how you present it. I have looked at so many tutorials and been completely confused. Is it that you are so good at teaching or that this is actually an easy stitch? I will be using this one quite a lot! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for this. I followed this in a pattern once & I liked it, but I know so little, I didn't understand it. Thanks for clarifying that it is a combination of herringbone and netting (part of why I was confused).
hi Jill thank you for sharing this is a beautiful stitch can't wait to try it, I was wondering if you can show how to do a double wave bangle bracelet😀
Love this stitch❣ So easy to do, goes quickly even using 11/0s. I can't wait to get some bigger beads and try it. Did you ever make a video on attaching a clasp to this? Link pretty please or is it on the written instructions? Thank you again for teaching me a new stitch even though Ive been beading for over 15 yrs. I found UA-cam as a resource a bit late in the game so it seems like there is always something new to learn. It helps the monotonous days pass a bit quicker when Im up to doing a bit of beading. Thank you again Jill Wiseman.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful tutorial. I would ask you to teach us to do the flat chenille stich. I know there are numerous tutorials out there, but I need your way of teaching in orden to understand that stich
I'd like to see how different types of clasps could be used to finish it off, especially a magnetic clasp and a beaded toggle, and a ribbon chain (for adjustable lengths).
Jill thank you so much for all of your excellent tutorials. You are so creative and talented. I am fairly new to beading and I have learned so much from you. This was the first time for me to do the tubular chenille. I followed your instructions but I used 2 different size beads -size 11/0 and size 8/0 and somehow it turned into a great spiral. Have you tried using 2 different sizes? I really love it!
Best teacher ever! And such a delightful personality. You are my go-to for learning a new stitch - thanks Jill!
Hi Jill I want to let you know year after year your tutorials are a big blessing for me ! I come back to them and find always a guidance 😊THANKS 🙏🏻🥰
Just discovered your video and after only 2 weeks I am now on bracelet number 5! Thank you, your tutorials are excellent.
Great job!
Jill you are such a great teacher and generous person. I thank you so much.
You have done it again Jill. Great stitch and can't wait to try it. You are the greatest Jill. Thanks so very much for sharing your great talent.
Love this stitch. Can’t wait to try. I have watched a few videos on various channels to learn this stitch and yours was the easiest to follow. Thank you.
Dear Jill - I think I have said this before and am saying again. You are an EXCELLENT TEACHER!
Last night I enjoyed the exercises!!! Thank you

I love the idea of short tubes with beads between. Or even inverted color tubes blue/gold then gold/blue. My mind is swirling.
That's a cool stitch for a bracelet and necklace. Thank you for sharing and showing us how to do it.
