Okay friends, "Hey Girl Gang" is mainly in reference to the subject of the illustration. I am of course not trying to exclude anyone. People of all genders are welcome to my videos and channel!
Aaaand there goes a good chunk of my paycheck, there’s no way I can pass this one up. I will eventually buy an original from you to cherish and love forever!!
This was extremely interesting to watch, I didn't even know acryla gouache lends itself nicely to washes. Definitely will give acryla gouache a go next time! Im very used to regular gouache so I fumbled a bit using acryla gouache the first few times. Wicked painting, super harmonious, I think the skirt is the best part!
To combat the fast drying I made myself a wet pallete (a lunchbox that is tightly sealed a wet sponge and transparent paper) and it improved my workflow so much because the colours stay wet for almost days and you can just toss the paper when you’re done
You are lovingly, disgustingly talented and I LOVE watching you work. I'm not an artist in the least but I happen to follow 6 other UA-cam artists and I think you are my favorite! No gimmicks, beautiful art...that secret about the oil based pencil I havent heard from any of them like where the heck have you been?! Great job ❤
Thank you for explaining the reasons for each step. I bought some gouache about a month ago but haven’t really had an idea of where to start. Watching your process is really helpful! I might watch again and take notes! 😛
your channel honestly deserves more love and attention, I love your explanations behind your colour choices and your thought process behind the drawing!! this was so satisfying to watch and you might be one of my favourite drawing channels so far
The transfer of line art from digital to traditional using the lightbox is SUCH a genius move! I got one for Christmas and wasn't sure how I could use it for painting! Thanks so much!
I just started using gouache and your videos have been so helpful and also have been helping me get past my artists block. I love your style and your channel!! (:
I just absolutely love your process, how you explain it, and just the fact you know when to speed up the painting, and when to slow down. Prime example of things I love to see, are when you do the lining process of the eyes near the end, how slow, and smooth and deliberate that is. It's like, lining porn, or whatever, it's great. That, on top of your relaxed and casual commentary is really soothing and just gets me into the mood to do art myself. Thank you for joining youtube, I can't wait to see more of what you create.
It looks so realistic becuase of the highlights and midtones and hair movement, and yet so beautifully stylized! You're amazingli talented and skillful. I hope I will be like you some day :)
I don’t usually comment, but I love that you made her realistic body wise. Like when people draw school girls they make them stick thin and still thick in the legs and hips and whatnot. But she’s overall bigger, healthy looking and realistically proportioned.
You should try the “stay wet” method for your paint. Instead of a regular pallet take a container put a wet sponge inside and lay parchment paper or grease proof paper over top. Put your paint on it and it stays wet works for acrylic and acrylic based gouache. You can also buy a premade stay wet pallet
It might be interesting to you but the decade of the neons were the 80s. The 90s had some neons but they were fashionable for a shorter period and leaned more into greens and yellows, and at most, oranges.
This video was really a skillshare class 😂 but super super helpful! You're a queen of lighting tbh 😱 really gotta work on mine x) Also... This piece is just HEAVENLY ✨ I love the flowyness of everything, her face is so pretty and - the colors 😭 with that lighting 🙆🏻♀️ precious
Once again another amazig video! I think you are now my favorite art youtuber. I was watching this while doing some vocal for my class and it felt like I was listening to friend! Cannot wait to try out gouache ❀ Cannot wait for the next video ❃
This is such a fantastic piece, it's exactly my aesthetic! 😍 And I'm so happy coz we have the same love for pink and blue combinations, its what I use all the time when I draw, idk I'm just drawn to it. ❤️
This is the first video I've seen from you but I have to say that I really appreciate the way you explain your process. I was able to learn new techniques and tips. Thanks 😁
This was fantastic! I love the way you explained each part of the painting in detail and included each element in real time. You commentary is perfect, very nicely done. So glad you did a video on Acrylic Gouache. I am still on the fence about it (mostly just not confident in my ability) but this was truly inspiring and makes me feel more comfortable in giving it a try. This painting is just gorgeous too, btw! The color palette is stunning! Thank you so much!
I like this kind of videos! Helps a lot in learning the medium as well even though I don't have acrylic gouache. I do wanted to buy some from Japan so this is really helpful! I love how it turned out!
I really love how you do your characters skin. A video on how you do this would be awesome. I did try but it didn't worj. I am currently doing my diploma in arts & design and I love the "water" mediums, but I'm very new to it. I tried Skillshare but never used it, but I watch and learn from videos on UA-cam. Thank you 😊
for some reason, Gaouche always reminds me of digital art because it just doesn't have the kind of texture I guess that you can see with markers or acrylic paint. But this was beautiful and it gave me Yandere Simulator vibes.
i just followed you a few days ago after watching one of your other gouache videos, im so excited and happy that you've updated so quickly!! great video and great art!! 😚😚
So beautiful! 💖 I always sketch on my iPad first too ☺️ I’ve never tried acrylic gouache, just the regular, so I’m really looking forward to try it one day! And I loved so much how You added the shadows/glazings! It turned out awesome ☺️

Aaaand there goes a good chunk of my paycheck, there’s no way I can pass this one up. I will eventually buy an original from you to cherish and love forever!!
AH - I would be so honoured!!

I wish you the best of luck in your future acrylic gouache adventures!! Thank you so much!
To combat the fast drying I made myself a wet pallete (a lunchbox that is tightly sealed a wet sponge and transparent paper) and it improved my workflow so much because the colours stay wet for almost days and you can just toss the paper when you’re done
Beautiful use of pink in the reflective color!
I love how it looks like you went to a print shop with your iPad and printed your picture like I strive for this look omg 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Aww thank you!!
You are lovingly, disgustingly talented and I LOVE watching you work. I'm not an artist in the least but I happen to follow 6 other UA-cam artists and I think you are my favorite! Thank you for explaining the reasons for each step. I bought some gouache about a month ago but haven’t really had an idea of where to start. Watching your process is really helpful! I might watch again and take notes! 😛
CHALLENGE:
Paint only with the colours that are not in your typical colour palet/preference. E.g. Green only painting, etc.
💚🎨
I really love how you talk through your videos! It makes the piece so much more inspiring being able to get your insight on what you're doing.
Yay! So glad to hear that!
your channel honestly deserves more love and attention, I love your explanations behind your colour choices and your thought process behind the drawing!! this was so satisfying to watch and you might be one of my favourite drawing channels so far

Street fighter vibes! Love it
This gives me is like.. cute tough girl, 90s, neon lights, strawberry milkshake vibes. It's just wild but I love it! Good job! 🥰

I've never used gouache paint before but seeing this made me interested
This is acrylic gouache, it's important because it doesn't reactivate with water.
