India is basically a continent with many countries in one. Communities, cultures, cuisines change after every 100 mile. There are 28 states a handful of Union Territories and each state will offer you atleast 2-3 cuisines. So I hope you get the picture of how diverse India actually is. Also there is no such thing as an Indian cuisine but a list of cuisines from India. And there is no such thing as curry spice in India. Curry basically translates to a sauce or gravy cooked with different spices and which spices are cooked together, defines the curry. Barbequed and fried items are not curries unless a sauce or gravy is added to the dish. The north indian curries are dairy based whereas the south indian curries are coconut based. This got me craving for some Palak Paneer , one of my all time favorites . Gonna order some for lunch tomorrow. Lots of love to you both from 🇲🇻 Maldives
Volcano curry probably used naga jholokia or naga red chillies which are like 250 times spicier than jalapeno peppers. They hit late in spice and creep up slowly but stay on tongue for long time. Also, I heard you can't touch them with bare hands or it'll feel like somebody placed your hand on stove.
Saag paneer is paneer not tofu. Paneer is a little more denser and retains its shape compared to tofu. Paneer is cottage cheese, a different type of cheese compared to tofu.

The Jastem/Jadoh goes well with the Dohkhleh Dohjem Dohneiiong and Muli khleh. The other dishes go well with plain boiled rice.
Khublei from Shillong 🙏
And the Academy Award goes to Herbert for achievement in facial expressions. Ha Ha he used them all!
Love this
If you have low spice tolerance, I recommend you to try "dal makkhani" and "malai kofta". It will change your world, trust me
I've been waiting for this episode for so long. I could practically live comment during this video. 😆😆
Saag paneer is usually made with spinach but also has mustard, fenugreek and amaranthus leaves whereas palak paneer only has spinach leaves. You should try that.
ahh yum!!!
This got me craving for some Palak Paneer , one of my all time favorites . Gonna order some for lunch tomorrow. Lots of love to you both from 🇲🇻 Maldives
I agree with Herbert on this one stick with the mild tikka masala
I'm just here to watch YB pretend to be affected by spice. LOL
maybe salomi makes it with tofu but, the cheese in saag paneer is the paneer(indian cottage cheese). the white cube things are paneer.
Lmao being a Indian I really don’t find it spicy grew up having Indian food every day so my spice tolerance has increased so hope u enjoyed
I bet!! hahaha
"No one is taking that one away from you..." BEST line ever. 😜
Omg you did it Indian food omg. Love you two. Btw YB you inspired me to open my own UA-cam Channel. Thanks for being so awesome & Herbert as well.
yay!! excited for you 😊
Thank You for doing an Indian Challenge!!! Much appreciated! Love your videos both here and try guys!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Indian food is the best. Craving it right now 😊 I always like to get the spice level 100% 🥲
Love this! Hopefully you can so food challenge with Kelsey in the future
i will ;)
Volcano curry probably used naga jholokia or naga red chillies which are like 250 times spicier than jalapeno peppers. They hit late in spice and creep up slowly but stay on tongue for long time. Also, I heard you can't touch them with bare hands or it'll feel like somebody placed your hand on stove.
haha omg yes!! got so spicy towards the end
You should try central american food like pupusas! there's so many flavors and combinations!
YESSS the spice queen trying indian food!! love you YB 😘❤️❤️
Saag paneer is paneer not tofu. Paneer is a little more denser and retains its shape compared to tofu. Paneer is cottage cheese, a different type of cheese compared to tofu.
YB is the real snackk over here ❤️🥰
My body is 80% full of chicken curry😅😅 it was fun to watch you guys trying it!
Hey YB! I'm from India and yeah, enjoying this video.
I miss eating food outside :(
Any ways, Palak paneer is the best :)
thank you for watching!! stay safe ❤️❤️

Love you guys I always enjoy your videos! I’m not very familiar with Indian Food but I do like curry as far as a spice. I don’t know how adventurous I would be with something called Volcano LOL 🌋🌋🌋 I am enjoying watching you as I have just got out of the hospital and am resting ❤️❤️❤️
omg are you okay? feel better ❤️❤️
Tikka masala and saag paneer are my favorites!! Indian food is sooo good. I’m like Herbert where I like the no spice 😂 I miss eating it a lot. It doesn’t do well for my ibs. Sad life.
Herbert is a trooper
dipping samosa in butter chicken was a complete no for usXDXD
LOL sorry 🤣🤣 ill make sure to get the right sauce next time!
@@YBChangOfficial omg I didn't expect u to c my comment ❤️ so sweet of u to reply ❤️❤️
I’ve always wanted to try Indian food, need to get around to doing that. I enjoy Naan bread when I get my hands on it.

Es ist wirklich putzig Herbert seinen Namen auf deutsch sagen zu hören, wenn er ihn vorher englisch mit deutlichem deutschen Akzent gesagt hat!
YB I love your work - on your channel and for the Try Guys. Thank you so much!
thank you ❤️❤️
Saag paneer is my favorite too! Girl y'know what's upppppp
Right so good 🤩🤩
😂 Sorry Herbert, you cannot handle really spicy food. Love that you still try it 😆 I love spicy food, esp. the spice that makes me sweat. BTW, your kitten is not a kitten anymore. All grown up 😳 😃
right!! still growing!
This is the first time I'm so early and it's an Indian food video.
Great!! 😅
I am from India, butter chicken and nan is my favourite one, but you guys can eat nan mix with chicken then dip into gravy then eat it ,it will taste great,
And give some butter chicken to the cute dog and that cat 🐈 also
Saag paneer is my favorite 😄
Lovee you guys!! ❤❤
Love you too ❤️❤️
I eat this food everyday and I still wanna eat more
Hey YB I love your content! Just to let you kno "SAAG" isn't spinach its basically mustard leaves and are really flavourful. No wonder why they are your favorite.😍😍
Keep Growing🌱🌱
good to know!! they're so yummy!
As an indian, I am so familiar with all this food that I can practically smell this video😂
You gotta eat samosas with a sauce...like a mint sauce or tamarind sauce. Or since you don't have them, yes dip it in the curry! 🍛😍
Saag Paneer, my favourite!!!
Might be a weird thing to ask but are you guys sitting cross legged beneath the table 😂😂 it’s because I can never sit on the floor for too long without my legs cramping 🥲
haha usually I have my legs straight, I'm more used to sitting on floors than Herbert 😂😂
Spicy really 🤣🤣😂😂😂 thts sweet to us ....
😂😂 curry spice is another level!
@@YBChangOfficial plz out of stereotypes their is more stuff in indian cuisine other then curry !!!! Whatever in comes with sauce doesn't meant it's curry, thier over 1m+ dishes all over country nd every state have thier own uniqueness these are those dishes which the world ever heard of it ..
Saag Paneer is also my favorite ❤️
Don't samosas normally come with a couple sauces? A mint chutney and a tamarind sauce?
Also Louie seems fluffier than the last time I saw him.
yes seems like they forgot!! haha next time i need to try with the sauces!
Try Filipino foods next YB
Too spicy for me but looks very delicious!
Is it only about spicy food?? I would love you to try Dominican Food on your channel!!!!!
will put that on my list :D
Did I heard beef in a samosa?
An indian restaurant serving beef will be a big no no for me
What fillings are the most common? :)
@@YBChangOfficial filling are based on the different indian region. Some region will have Mashed potato peas and onion, same will have dry fruits/cheese/paneer and in some places we have peanut. But majorly it will be vegetarian. Non-veg that too beef is not eaten by most indians
last time i commented about how coco is so big. DANG HES HUGE
Apparently ragdolls grow for 4 years!! 😱😱
Saag paneer is a dish with cottage cheese and spinach. Tofu isn't used for it in India.
i learned that!! its so good
Butter chicken!
Carribean food challenge as a suggested video
i am literally Herbert with spice.... I feel you bud.
It feels so uneasy to watch you guys stressing over the food that we indians eat DAILY. It's cute tho😍
Hahah that’s exactly how I feel when I see foreigners trying Korean food!! Indian food is so good 😍
Indian food kicks in when it reachea the stomach lol
It's hot
Yeah
Say hello to my friend and you eat so well
0:48 look at the cat girl xD
Y’all so 🥰
Now I want Indian food 😫
I'm from Japan but my shusband is sri lankan and when we eat india 🇮🇳 food curry we get the most spicy curry level 10 spice 😆🤣 🔥🥵 but I love it!
omg I need to try! 🔥🔥
Hi john seena

oh yes. hehe
Oh na na what’s my name- Herbert
🤣🤣
😂😂
Yb ,I have been following since so long. You have replied to me a lot of times too. Listen to me whatever u r eating are north Indian dishes. It saddens me every American eats north indian food and say they are eating Indian food. Try south indian cuisine!!! Tamilnadu style ,kerala style,Mangalore cooking. We south Indians are pioneers of breakfast, spicy gravies, sweets etc. South indian ihas vegan and meat dishes. From Tamilnadu try idli sambar thts the og, try dosa, poori, pongal, vada. In gravies try rasam rice, sambar rice, kaara kozhambu ,puliyodhara, tomato rice, lemon rice and thousand more!!! Chettinad chicken gravy, sukka, fish fry etc there are many south indian restaurants in USA try it. As a follower of u since many years I am asking u this
Thanks for letting me know!! ❤️ India is huge there is no way that American Indian food represents it wholly! I will try to find a restaurant that specializes South Indian cuisine ☺️☺️ if you know of any in LA please let me know!
no tofu in saag.. all cheese
🤤🤤🤤🤤
Nepalese food please
Where are you come from?
Do Pakistani food!!
what would you recommend?? :D
Beef samosas? 👀
What is the most popular filling for samosas?
@@YBChangOfficial we don't eat non veg in samosa ,it has fillings of peas, potatoes
Beef samosas aren't a thing in India. You can get veg, lamb or chicken though
@@YBChangOfficial The most popular filling is vegetarian. Potatoes and peas basically 😊
now i want indian food too...well uber eats app here i come...
tofu is not paneer
paneer is made of milk
lesson learned! :)
RIP the toilet after this
It's pronounced lussi haha (spelling lassi)
Never been this early lol
hehe thank youu ❤️
I LOL'ed when they were like "it looks pretty healthy?" XD indian food typically has a ton of oil in it, though i've never tried that particular place they're eating from ^^;;
I feel like anything is healthy compared to American food 🤣
@@YBChangOfficial haha fair point!!
thank you so much for replying as well
We don't eat beef in India neither in future
You are so beautiful
Paneer is healthy guys. It's a source of protein for us. It's not like those unhealthy processed cheese.
Also, indian food.. specially vegetarian food is very healthy.
As we usually ear home made food in india, we make food very light & less spicy and oily at home.
We eat heavy food only occasionally.
Btw Samosas with beef is a BIG NO NO from us 😂
Beef is RARELY eaten in india, except few parts of the country.
Samosas are mostly vegetarian with potatoes, peas or some herbs & spices fillings.
love it!! ❤️❤️ and omg I must get a different samosa 😂
Chinese food and not the authentic kind plz
i was gonna do Korean Chinese food next! :P
