I wish for a return to the pixel art style like a octopath style or a return to gen. 5 style. Games have showed us that they don’t need to be 3D to be advance/gamebreaking or pretty. It could be a new feature like the GameBoy Item in Hg/Ss, you can switch from 3D to Pixel. That would be amazing
I do like how the remakes added a bit to the unground. By that I mean areas where you can catch pokemon exclusive to platinum like houndoom for example. And in the postgame you can catch all starter pokemon from gen 1 to 4 Just be mindful to bring a lot of pokeballs…seriously that damn cyndaquil refused to stay in the ball…Burned through 20 pokeballs before finally catching it.

So I erased my file like a bot, and now it's gone forever. I hatched a regular shiny ponyta in sword and shield though, so that's a mini redemption.
I have two things in theory first that this is a gen 8 game and I also think we are going to mega evolve cause based on the other games this is the mega evolution time line

no matter what style they would've chosen for the D/P remakes it would've been wrong to SOMEONE and that someone would've ended being 25% of the fanbase etc. etc.

I also got my first shiny in diamond! It was a shiny ponyta! I actually thought it was blue cause I was playing diamond and my sister had pearl so she spent a few hours trying to find a pink ponyta lol kid logic 😂. I eventually went back and played the rest of the gens but gen 4 I will always have a soft spot for gen 4. I also got a shiny wooper as well that I accidentally traded to gen 5 🤦♀️

I got MY first shiny in Diamond! :O It was a shiny wingul, i was like...8 or 9 and my brother made me trade it to him (I dont remember why) and now its lost forever i am still a little salty i'm 21 now... i think my most recent shiny was a...fuck...ummmm it was something in Y on the route north of the rock town, i think i clicked run but then i couldn't escaped, which allowed me to catch it, or something but damn i cant remember i think its on my pokebank?
