James Marsden (the X-Men films), Katie Holmes (Batman Begins) and Nick Stahl (Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines) star in this pulse-pounding sci-fi chiller from director David Nutter (Game Of Thrones, The X-Files).
In the halls of Cradle Bay High School, something sinister is happening… something dark… something disturbing. Sure, the "Blue Ribbons" - the clique that's at the top of the food chain at Cradle Bay - appear perfect in every way. But underneath their clean-cut, well-mannered facades lurks a shocking secret - one that a group of Cradle Bay High's outsiders and rebels must uncover in order to save their school, their town... and their own lives.

Disturbing behavior, urban legends, and the faculty. 1998 was the best year ever.
You have some pretty low standards, my friend.
07foxmulder not really ? those are some of my favorite movies. your opinion dude
you almost had it. disturbing behavior, the faculty, apt pupil (maybe original final destination but that's 2000)
@@Taranis_Storm yasssss! final destination before everything went to 3D lol
@@kadencecraven6834 they didn't age well
A classic teen film with a 90s vibe and a great soundtrack. It was a cooler time back then.
WAY cooler. The mid to late 90s was the best era for film and music IMO.
@@neilswan6977 Remember Batman returns? with all that epic OST orchestra in the opening credits that immerse you in this gothic dark atmosphere u will see then in the whole movie? well, never seen that after the 90's, and OST is so important for movies almost like movies themselves, so sad cinema is in its worst time right now :/
Varsity Blues was decent too
"Hey! Teacher! LEAVE THEM KIDS ALONE!"
I freaking LOVE this movie!
Do I see a pink floyd reference😂
+GuitarGal Yes, and it's an ACTUAL quote from this movie! It's one of the many reasons why I love it so much! 😆
+Jackie McCann 😂 I started watching it a few minutes ago😂 I love Pink Floyd! My dad went to college with them, but he was a few years below them
So true, both came out the same year, both deal with teenagers being "altered" with a dark sci-fi premise
johanjon000 I just watched the faculty on syfy and was thinking scenes from this were in there then remembered it's two diff movies lol I'll watch this tomorrow night for sure !! Two underrated movies miss these classic teen horror movies I'd like to make one
I met James Marsden in NYC few years back having a cup of coffee in a shop. Sat near to him and when he looked up I said 'Hey friend. You do know you look alot like that Cyclops guy from the X Men movie, right?"
He said "I get that all the time" with a shit eating grin, lol I winked at him and told him to have a great day!
Guy's a great cat!!!!
Sounds razor.
I worked as a cashier/usher at a movie theater in Kirkland WA when this came out. Over the course of a few weeks I snuck into the theater and watched the entire movie at 10 min intervals during my breaks. Epic.
lmao. that is epic.
I saw this in theatre in Silverdale, WA when I was 14 lol.
I miss the 90s
Omg totally agree…what a great time to be a teen!!
The late 90s teen slasher era was awesome 🎞🎥🍿🔪
Yes it was the best year
I’m sorry but that part where that dude yells at Katie Holmes is STILL the funniest non intentionally hilarious scene I have ever scene!!!! 😂🤣😂😫😭😭😭
Omg it came on the second after I read this comment what are the chances haha it was pretty far down too 😂
Give up the play for Chucky baby! I still say that to my wife to this day. Also, sometimes during some mundane conversation I will scream a 1 or 2 word reply or comment - it is so funny - THANKS CHUCKY!!!!
I never really thought it was even funny until I read your comment just now 🤣🤣
omg I almost spat on my screen from laughing hahahahaha
Yes 😂
"Paranoid, paranoid everybody coming to get me"
One of the best parts of this movie was the fact this is one of the few times a song used in the trailer was actually in the movie ie Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger. It blew my mind at the time because usually you never hear that happening.
i love this song ! now that i know its also in the movie im gonna have to watch it
And don't forget The Flies with "Got You Where I Want You" for the fade to credits at the end. One of the best "musical cue movie endings" ever, IMO
Whats the song? I dont remember the name
@@shadowvessel yesss the ending with that song playing hits DIFFERENT
@@DiegoClaudioSergio Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger.
It wasnt easy fitting in as a teenager even back in the 90s. I cant imagine what its like now for kids growing up with social media.
It's taken me over twenty years to realize that I never even got around to seeing this. You kids gotta understand; there was a _TON_ of late 90s movies that looked the same when this came out. "The Faculty". "Fear". "Scream". "Final Destination". "Urban Legend". "The Rage". "In Dreams"... It goes on and on.
And now it's just a ton of superhero movies.
@@chagOwwuUUu there’s plenty of horror movies and there’s nothing wrong with superhero movies.
@@TheWinstonSlipnah ,late 90s were awesome
@Isolated Pixels I would argue that 95% of horror films are written incredibly lazily
@@SRBOMBONICA86 never said they weren’t
This movie explains the high school elite. Ya know? The preps, jocks and cheerleaders. I lived in that type of setting(class of 96)as one of the what they called "freak". I was and still am a punk rocker. Those were the last few years of the "grunge" era. We, by no means were unpopular. Yet the preps and jocks seemed like they had some unknown strange thing goin on. This movie helped cope with that. In 1998, I was already working and was a new father. However, it helped my brother deal with those type of people. "They are mutants. Stay away from them". Lol.
Sorry you had to go through that. Try and look at it this way though: you may have suffered but found something that helped you and overcome your trials. Hard times make you stronger and help define who you are. Best of luck to you and your family and keep rockin' on.
I love this movie and it came out before The Faculty but everyone used to say it ripped it off. One has aliens the other doesnt.
Joel Waters the 90s had the best high school movies.
Both are great movies and very much time capsules of the late 90s. Good times.
“WHAT ABOUT EHAT I WANT!”
sooo 90’s I love it lol
I remember seeing this when I was like 6. We rented it from Blockbuster lol
Same and looking back I had no idea what this shit was really about
this movie and the faculty with the alien teachers traumatized me during the 90s. never again will i watch a movie my older sister chooses 😂😂
I miss blockbuster! It was a treat to go to
@@tjc2121renting movies was cool.
"Will you go out with me...?"
"...no."
"WHYY NOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!"
An appropriate response.
HAHAH
I remember laughing so hard at that scene out of context
I watched this movie when i was like 10 now im 26 lol.. time passed so fast
Abdulla AlTurabi indeed. I just turned 26 and remember watching this when I was younger, still a little fuzzy for me though lol
The exact same for me lol. Older siblings got this on VHS boiiii
Im here because of katie holmes, love her series dawson's creek
I was waiting to go see a movie with my wife, and I turned around, and Derek Hamilton was behind me!! and this was years after this movie came out and I immediately recognized him and I asked him if that was his name and he said yes and I started talking about this movie and how much I loved it
i got him to autograph my ticket I didn't get a picture with him because cell phones were a joke back then but yeah it was really cool to meet him nice guy
This is a favorite of my wife and i she was the cool one in high school i was the outcast funny how our love of movies brought us together
Can't believe I forgot about thiz film. Scared TF out of me, as a teenager. I'm going on a trip of "member berries", watching all the old school classics.
Hey it's Stepford Wives meets Degrassi with Bruce Greenwood as an evil surgeon! I'm in!
0:36 This Is an MK ultra exposed film. 😬.
Look at the special little creatures that hide among the flowers... Be the ball. So many great quotes. An absolute cult classic 😎
I remember this movie came out during summer break. I was on my way to 11th grade. I went to see this with a few friends and loved it 👍🏽❤️
Man the 90s had the best movie I was born 2002 and remember watching faculty recently rewatched and it’s a classic.never seen this one so I’m about to try it out
I was born in 1985 and it was a FUN decade to be a kid 👍
@@weston40784 here. 90s will never be beaten.
I’ve seen this movie so many times. I love it. Sounds razor.
Now I FINALLY understand the music video to The Flys' Got You Where I Want You.
Release the full edition for the 25th anniversary they cut massive amounts and even with the eleven deleted scenes there’s still 12 mins cut
This movie was awesome haven't seen it in years glad I finally found it again
Hahaha. I have never seen this movie before but I had the memory of the "WHY NOT?!" Scene from the trailer pop into my head the other day and started laughing and had to find the trailer. Think I might watch this now.
Watching it now... wow i wished i had seen this at the movies...
I love this movie and the soundtrack.
Never honestly heard of this movie before a few days ago...ironically The Faculty was playing on TV before this came on next. To say this movie freaked me out would be an understatement. It's easily one of those movies where if you're sober, you feel like you're drunk or tripping because some parts are just sooo weird and out there. Literally when the opening scene happened I'm like 'wth am I watching?! I'm intrigued but freaked the heck out at the same time...'
I always get confused between this move and the faculty! I liked both of them.
AMAZING MOVIE this and the Faculty
my mother took me and my sister to see this at 7 I've never forgotten the blue ribbons 😐😑😑
What's the blue ribbons part again? Havent seen this in forever.
Blue ribbons are a large group of hypnotized cult of teens.
how were u allowed into the cinema at that age?
Wasn’t this movie Rated R?
I definitely remember that trailer.. so fucking late 90’s
I watched this years ago and it was really good
I miss the 90's :(
I feel like I’m living in this movie right now
Man i was in 6th grade when i saw this back in 98. I worshipped Katie Holmes back then seeing her weekly on Dawsons Creek. :) Good times! good memories.
Luv this movie 💛❤💜 amazing cast
This is like an updated remake of Strange Behaviour or Dead Kids. I enjoyed it a lot
A very young Katharine Isabelle is also part of this film!
Would anyone happen to know the song that plays after Got You Where I Want you during the ending credits? I can't find the song but I dig it!
Feels like the song at the end was made specifically for this movie.
'Science is god!' Man, even back in '98 they were trying to recruit katie holmes lol
Creating the perfect teen by fixing their behavior.....
Great movie
Meet the musical little creatures that hide among the flowers 🌸 🥊 😂
I love the graphic design!
Wow! I have never heard of this movie before.
Check it out. It's worth watching at least once. Think Stepford Wives but with teenagers instead.
Wow Katie looks so young in this, Katie Holmes was older in Dawsons creek... I think lol.
I reckonise this movie.
I was googling movies with James Marsden in it, this movie is one of them
Love this movie!
How many people bought this soundtrack thinking Flagpole Sitta would be on it? Such a bait and switch!
reminds me of an episode of The Outer Limits
WHY NOT!!! Was the best line in the whole movie
This film came out days after i was born. This was originally much longer with a lot of scenes of character development and an original ending where Gavin dies. MGM made severe cuts to Disturbing Behavior and rendered the film 83 minutes long. I would have been much to see an extended cut of the film and much better than the version we saw in the theaters.
The TV Cut has the majority of the scenes reinstated except for the original ending.
@@alucard624 I know.
It doesn't show Gavins mom or alot of other stuff. Yet the novel has alot of the cut out stuff. Plus the ending where Shannon becomes a Blue Ribbon.
1998 was a good year for horror films but this one was my favorite along with The Faculty. They don’t make horror movies like this anymore!
This is a great scary movie with a great cast too 😊❤
but james marsden was already perfect!!!!!!!
Come on Ray Ray give up the play for ol’ Chuck.
I like this Movie they definitely should’ve made a part 2
I love this film
Damn I was like movie where kids acted strange I was teenager when I saw this.. damn bring good memories of me sitting down on long day of school watching horror movies.
Purely a gem.
Very creative.
I only wish there was a sequel.
Because of what the ending gave away.
#25yearsago💎🎞
They don’t make movies like this anymore. True classic! The 90s was the best era.
Such a great movie!!!
It was "razor"
subliminal
Ohhhhh yeah a whole lotta truth lol that’s why I came back
I used to be so scared of this movie and the facility lmao!!
This movie scared the living day lights of me as a youngster.
Once that rumbly-voiced horror movie trailer narrator starts talking, you know you're in big trouble.
Underrated film, good acting and man was Katie Holmes hot back then, wow....
It took me YEARS to find this
Una de mis pelis favoritas.
0:17 esa escena no esta en el corte final.
I heard this movies RAZOR!!
Great trailer even greater film
Uhhh... not so fast...
show de bola !!!
Damn it. Why isnt this movie available on UA-cam?
1:19 A quick glimpse of Ethan Embry as James Marsden’s older brother
So it's basically Stepford Wives with Highschool kids😝
I knew I saw the part at the end with the mirror somewhere, I just thought it was a different movie.
Look forward to watching and critiquing
Which one did they take, Pfizer?
20 years latter still waiting for a second Gabben must be 37 or 38.
Funny, I didn’t realize that chug was in SEAL Team. So the guy shouting “why not!”, which kind of made for the most memorable reason from the trailer, to watch this movie, plays a SEAL in SEAL Team!
Saw this in theaters as a teen. “We like our metal heavy , Marlboros light. Music of choice? Harvester Of Sorrow, Language Of The Mad. Drugs? Whaddaya got?”
"freaks all week. that's it. lesson over. class dismembered. welcome to Cradle Bay High Stevie Boy. Welcome to my nightmare."
It's weird that that they didn't tried enough to make "bullies" kind again, not to mention how the guy who turned a teacher get away from the crash and the fact those kind of movies were only made in the 90s for weird reasons
Watchin this on our over the air free movie channel
Katie holmes was my dream girl miss these days
Flagpole Sitta...what an amazing soundtrack
SHOW DE BOLA !!!!!
Disturbing behavior, the faculty, idle hands and final destination.
show de bola !!!!!!
Love James Mardsen in this movie!
This is the kind of high school thrillers I look fr 😀😀
I loved Nick Shtahl. Whatever happened to him? I had forgotten all about this movie until someone mentioned it on a video about The Faculty. LOL
He does C rated horror movies past several years, just trying to keep the mortgage paid up to date.
Stahl was in Sin City (2005) and Terminator 3 in 2000.
Great FN Movie !! #UNDERRATED
This movie was good, it shows you "The Manchurian Candidate" in High School...nice
Thanks for giving away the entire plot of the movie, trailer
Ah well, at least it's an old movie, not a new one
Most trailers do this
