I like to think it describes these characters perfectly EXE is a hunter, slowly encroaching on his prey. I always thought his faker form as a form of nautural mimicry, attracting prey in for the kill. He is slow and precise in calculation. Scorched is a beserker; According to their lore, IIRC, scorched IS the sonic, but slightly glitched out and having been replaced by pirated code. All he has is a red hot anger.
The "I will not be replaced." Hits harder when you think that it was when Faker was booted was when the mod started to go down hill As if faker was like. "Fine if I'm going ILL TAKE THE WHOLE MOD WITH ME!"

In the second "act" of this song, I personally think the sprites from Hog are(Insert alternate word for better for no controversy), BUT the backgrounds and "Effects" from Faker are (Insert alternate word from other sentence). Hog has a lot more over-the-top/MONSTEROUS poses and expressions, while fakers is more static an not as zip-zoppy. Fakers background and Effects and scene changing are more fitting to the "Story". The mod just got canceled, everything is falling apart, (Simaler to Final Escape, amazing song, go check it out if you haven't) things are being deleted, until all of a sudden it goes black and white, and to a final white. While hog.....sky turns kinda redder....Idk about the charts, you guys figure it out. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!

I REALLY like how Hog looks like it tried to mimic the other Sonic, but Faker is getting replaced with another sonic that has the SAME key, which is from a dude transforming into a beast. Left pose, ERROR, he uses sonics' code into that thing. Up pose, name forgor, he transforms from knuckle into that big guy. Right pose, the man himself scorched. Transform from a cuddly plushy into that. Down pose, I'm not sure about that one tho ._. All of the poses are from all of the Sonics (and that one Tails were fighting Encore BF and PICO who going into a big dude too but not finished/revealed yet) that was made for the mod ONLY to replace Faker. Look at how much they made to replace Faker only to be scrapped, wasted pressure, resulting in the mod being canceled (good job from that drama, both your action and not.). Faker Will Not Be Replaced, and that's guaranteed.
It sounded like a desperate way so Exe can actually win. He's not just doing it for cheating, he did it so he can kill BF and finally have a chance to still live. Unlike Scorch, who drains BF's health but BF regains it, Exe doesn't allow that to happen at all. He will see BF try hard until he's voice gets sore. It's how desperate he actually is.
Still sad that Faker/EXE wasn't coming back to the sonic.exe mod. Execution too. But it ws still introduced in the fanmade one. So that's not as sad as losing Faker/EXE.
Manual Blast has Scorched's poses, which look way more monster-like, and Scorched himself looks like something like that as well. The one of the problems i have with the song is Scorched's voice. Mix it with faker's voice and you're good to go. Also, the chart speed increase in the "3rd phase".. just keep the chart speed you had at the other 90% of the song pls.. I don't have any questions for Forgotten Remnant tho, even the health bar mechanic (which imo is very unique) is not that hard, really. The only thing is, probably a new background might be better for the song.
Here's a few clarifications: The Forgotten Remnant mechanic is from Black Sun, originally in 2.0. You start at full health, but can't regain any, and your health slowly drains over time. Missing doesn't take anything from your health, instead increasing the speed of the drain until you just die. The vocals of Scorched were made by throwing the vocals of EVERY EXE IN THE MOD into a blender, minus a few cut ones.
Also i mean, it is supposed to be a mangled sonic, so i feel like it makes sense for his voice to not be *that* deep and gravelly. I do think it isn't loud or imposing enough for the vibe of the song tho, unfourtunately.
@@aesiro1336 You only start at full HP if you got it during the 1st part. Any missing HP is transferred over to exe's part. (Tested it, got to half hp during 1st part and ended up only having half during phase 2).
Since the Scorched sound a bit quiet in basic version, I suggest using the one video where Scorched has louder vocals and different Boyfriend voice is an addition in that version.

While I'm unsure of the motives of the other devs, for Rightburst in particular it was petty revenge for stealing the seat of director away from him (He was removed by democratic vote by the majority of the dev team...) however just ruining Revie's life wasn't enough for him. Following that Rightburst created Hog and Scorch to play on the parts that caused EXE to rise so quickly in popularity while also mocking Revie due to the fact with her undeserved cancellation from twitter causing EXE/Faker to become a taboo character to use. This is further causing trouble with the devs of the vs Sonic.Exe team riling up their fans in a frenzy before having them attack Anyone who shows even the slightest posiblity of liking Faker/EXE.
