I like how they started the video with "training", but ended with just simply enjoying the arcade lol
This was fun to watch! As a former taiko player, the trick is to not hit hard but to drop your arms using gravity for the big hits, moving your arms as if you had a whip for the regular hits, and wiggling your wrists for hitting the rim, all this while holding the bachi (sticks) loosely enough to not drop them. That way, you won't get too tired and your arms won't feel like they're on fire. You do have to be relaxed to be able to play fast. It does take practice, though. I've never played this game (I don't go to arcades and I don't think they have that game where I live in the US) but if I saw one, I'd definitely give it a try. Good luck at the concert!

If you want to give it a try but not wanting to go to arcades, I suggest getting the Switch game of this then get a taiko drum controller. I do use one and I still suck, but it was a great workout for me. I also play the game sometimes when I needed to vent my anger into something 🤣
Round1 is actually hopefully getting Taiko in the US soon so fingers crossed we’ll actually get nijiro over here
