The feeling when you're able to guess a piece that Eddy and Brett DIDN'T recognize is MAGNIFICENT
Lol had a similar experience on a previous video - shaking my phone "Prokofiev! Classical Symphony! who cares what movement just can't you tell it's Prokofiev" Of course I didn't know "in D" nor the the opus number but I could hear the music running in my head.
Yeah i yelled SPRINGG!!!
Yeah, I was so surprised they didn't get Spring or the Tchaik!
I was literally about to comment this
see me screaming swan lake at my screen like a crazy person
I dont usually get the music correct, but when Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake played I immediately got it. Watching Barbie in Swan Lake multiple times has finally played off 😌💅🏽
Lol, that was the only one I got right too! Probably for the same reason! 😆
samee i screamed it as soon as i heard the first note bro..
Lmaoooo relate
hahahah literally me too! barbie for the WIN
oof i only saw it once or twice
Guys, you need to know that you were promoted by a classical music radio station in Mexico. Opus 94.5 said you were super recommendable for classical music diffusion. I agree, you're awesome!
Dude, we need to freaking BLAST this so Brett and Eddy can see

As a dancer who immediately knew Tchaikovsky’s swan late, I must say it was an ego boost to hear them consider this one difficult 🫡💀
I used to take ballet classes as a kid so I already knew the second it played. I found out about swan lake from the barbie ballerina dvd dance set💀 I was quite surprised they found that difficult lol 🤣
I thought it was rite of spring 😂
I WAS SCREAMING AT MY COMPUTER THAT IT WAS SWAN LAKE LMAO
Same I was screaming “ITS SWAN LAKE FOR GODS SAKE” 😂
I knew that beacuse im a Tchaikovsky fanboy
I feel like Twosetters are now so educated that we can guess nearly all the pieces just by the first note. They’re so recognisable 😅😅
@Child Rapist ⸜⁄ wtf?????????
@Child Rapist ⸜⁄ Highly inappropriate and by "banger videos", you mean only one?
I hope you're kidding dude
@Child Rapist ⸜⁄ stop
@@nicetomeetme.
fr, I could guess like 1% of these pieces faster than Eddy and Brett. Especially since I am not trained to a concert level like they are (also, I play the piano) And 99.9% of people who watch two set are not trained to a concert level
brett's hair got more and more cat ear-shaped throughout the video up until the glorious 6:35 - 8:06
It’s a sign from the universe
LOL i thought i'm the only one who notice that😂
I was thinking the same 😆
It's Maid Brett
Nyah
As a non-classical musician, I'm proud of myself for guessing some of these correctly! Especially Swan Lake, though for that I had help from Barbie. Actually, that's a video idea. The Barbie movies from the early 2000s use classical music in place of scores a lot of the time (like in Rapunzel) or are just straight up ballets (Swan Lake and The Nutcracker). I'd love to see you guys take a look at those!
Those Barbie movies were everything
Barbie Movies got me into classical music
Omg yess that's what I was thinking about too!! A lot of classical pieces I only recognize because of Barbie movies and I'd love to see some Barbie content on here, it's be amazing!!
BRUH that's a great idea for a video! I used to love those as a kid... They would be perfect for Brett and Eddy to watch!
That's awesome! I teach music history and had a student choose to write about swan lake because of the Barbie movie!
5:28 you recognizable immediately if you ever had a Windows XP
Props to Editor-San, syncing the excerpts as they hum /guess... really great editing as always
Right on! That was awesome.
I like Ginni pigs
So classy of fans to recognize skillful editors - from a (retired) director
Can't believe you guys didn't get the Swan Lake theme, it's so iconic and I was screaming LOL. Fun game, I wouldn't mind a few more episodes of it!
That’s one of the few I didn’t get-I felt so guilty!
Iconic indeed! That part is an instant trigger! 😁
That's how I felt about Beethoven 9 LOL
I feel they blocked it out of their memory playing too much of it
Same with Beethoven (Fur Elise and Symphony no 9), and Vivaldi's Spring!
That subtle "GG" joke at 1:17 is another fine example of editor-san's savage, big brain humour 😂 what a character haha
Never having had a musical education outside of TwoSet and clicking the Classical Music category on Spotify, I'm shocked I knew basically all of these. That was Swan Lake a mile away.
ikr that swan lake is clear as day😂 and the beeth 9 was in the music folder of the older win xp computers it just gets burned in my mind😂
there's some concertos that start in the same way and coud be misunderstood
@@ofilosofoouumfumante5655 The pagani concerto does start a bit similarly, but the instruments in the background ia quite clear
I love how Eddy and Brett immediately guessed the concertos they played for the 2M and 3M livestreams
lol
As Brett said, he could feel the music before he recognised it
And the one they'll play for 4M :-)
@@SV-pv9ef ff we're getting closer and closer

They totally deserve to be promoted all over the world. It’s not a small fee to attract millions of people towards the classical music the way they do. Me, myself, I’ve started watching classical music again, almost exclusive, after many years of nearly complete abandon of it and I even bought a violin and start practicing on my own pace, just because of them. God bless them!
So true! Hope they get all the good things they deserve one day! (Singapore Symphony said they have smtg coming up with Twoset soon so it seems to be a good step in that direction)
@@juniper1059 If it is true, I am so happy for them! Maybe Chloe Chua had something to do with that, considering she is from Singapore - another blessed child, by the way. After their resignation in 2016 from their respective orchestras maybe relationships have not been so warm with the official establishment, but they did it to pursue their most cherished dream and they accomplished what they desired. I wish them all the best luck in the world!
As a classical ballet dancers my body recognised swan lake instantly because of the built up dread I experience hearing it after dancing Odette 😂
Giggles in introverted ballerina. The easiest one for me was the Swan Lake theme. Just like Brett says he can feel it in his body, I can feel the score in my body.
That's beautiful. ☺
That's a different interpretation of "The Body Keeps the Score"
@@myusikah very clever! :D
Yup! I grew up dancing and knew it immediately. In my head I was like "if that's not Swan Lake Scene I'm going to just keel over and die."
6:23 who else was yelling “SWAN LAKE” as if they could hear us ? 😭
04:33 Cannot stop repeating Brett's laugh. 🤣
LMFAO that flex, Brett 8:30
Twoset you inspired me to start practicing again earlier this year. I just got into the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s junior programme, mainly because of your inspiration. You’ve also shown me so much about the violin world that I would never have known before. Thank you for the outreach you have created and the thousands you inspire ❤️

@@wishingonthemoon1 thx
No way! I just received an email from RBC last month that I am being accepted to the programme as a flute major and violin secondary study.
I just want to express my thanks to subtitler-san for letting me understand things that my ears may not pick up (whispers, mumbling, accent sounds/dialect differences, and so on). The “AFGHFFG…” was especially helpful in expressing the comedic struggle of identifying songs.
wow thank u for pointing them out. im not hard of hearing but i prefer captions, but usually on youtube theyre autogenerated so i dont even bother
I just love how in sync they are when they listen to something tricky and lean back at the exact same time with the same gesture LOL
Brett’s hair kinda looks like he has kitten ears or something like that lol
Guessing by the intro and the title, I can tell this will be a totally calm episode of twoset.

Is it just me or is Brett singing more than he used to in recent videos? I really like it!
Ikrr I like the 3:24 one!! With the hands hahaha
After spending literally my childhood watching Barbie (especially the Swan Lake), it finally paid off and I guessed the piece correctly
Omg same! That movie literally inspired me to become a dancer, which also helped me recognize some of the pieces faster
I ignored the barbie one and watched a swedish version on casette tape a million times 🤣 but childhood memories nonetheless
Do this again, it was hilarious and I loved playing along.
100% piggyback that!!!
7:29 I thought Brett has cat ears
Our violin dads are really running a week of demonetized engagement-raising videos and I am here to support their race to 4 mil (and the possibility of Brett performing with the SG Symphony Orchestra?????? HELL YEAH)
I got Swan Lake immediately because I love my boy Pyotr Tchaikovsky
Hello! May I know how you knew abt the possibility of Brett performing? :)
Not the youth orchestra?
Tchaikovsky, my favourite :)
The Singapore Symphony Orchestra hinted that they have something coming up soon eith Twoset in a UA-cam comment.. so we dk if it's going to be the Mendelssohn concerto, but so hoping it is! (Its under the latest Chloe video on their sso yt channel)
@@juniper1059 Awesome! I was really hoping Brett would play with the SSO for Mendelssohn 4 million celebration!
Non-musician here but because I've watched so many of your videos, I was able to play along and even get those that you didn't 🥰 thanks Twoset Academy!!! 😘😘😘
Same here! Though I didn’t always knew the names of the composers and the pieces, I knew what the rest of the pieces sounded like!
While Eddy is TECHNICALLY correct when it comes to Dance of the Knights, "Montagues and Capulets" is the name of a group of songs in Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" (specifically in Suite 2). The first part of "Montagues and Capulets" is called "The Prince Gives His Order" and is the introduction of Act III. The more famous bit called "Dance of the Knights" is close to the beginning of Act II. Dance of the Knights represents a Masquerade party held by Lord Capulet, although there is a section about Juliet and Romeo seeing each other for the first time. So, unless you hear a soft crescendo from pianissimo to a forte or Fortissimo, it would be most unwise to call it by the less common "Montagues and Capulets". Thank you kindly for your time.
Piece not song.
Eddy: uses his perfect pitch
Brett: uses his intuition
7:48 You know you're a sucker for TwoSet Navarra duet when you imediately recognise the piece just by its piano part

How’s it going?
I got way too proud when I recognized Swan Lake and Brett and Eddy didn't lol
6:42 Brett slowly (but quickly) evolving into a cat.
Brett and Eddy should watch more classical ballet. Some of the musical scores are gorgeous! Adolphe Adam's "Giselle" is my favorite! I think they should pull some excerpts from ballets and describe what they imagine happening and see how close it matches up to what's supposed to be happening in the ballets- kinda like the painting episodes! Or they could improv some violin to clips of ballerinas dancing, haha! As a dancer, I'm just always secretly hoping for a ballet centered episode of TwoSet Violin!!!
Yess, that would be so awesome!!! Giselle is one of my fav ballets, the music is soooo beautiful, especially Myrtha’s entrance and the very end!! As a dancer i always sort of jump when they mention balletxD
swan lake was so obvious to me lollll

Commenting so that this can be moved to the top!
As a dancer I agree!
6:58 YOOOO I GOT IT! Tchaikovsky Swan Lake!!!!

Eddy wants to prove that he's still practicing after their last vid of him knowing most of the pop songs
We know what you did there hmm

Playing along with you 2 is the best thing ever. I screamed so loud my husband had to check on me :))
When you play this by yourself in your car by shuffling your classical playlist...😅😅 you guys are great!
Bit of a rollercoaster when I was able to guess Fur Elise, feeling so proud of myself for point five of a second, and they both guessed Liszt - La Campanella. They were so sure, I immediately believed them. Then they were wrong XD Love these guys. I've been expanding my musical horizons because of them and it's only thanks to TwoSet Academy that I've even come this far
bro I literally went Liszt as well and was so surprised when it was Beethoven 😂
I went Liszt too. The Beethoven octaves are on E but the Liszt octaves are on the E-flats. Whoever chose that snippet of music was cleverly sneaky it seems.
@@Sathrandur If it had been Liszt, I'm sure I'd have thought it to be Beethoven anyway 😆 Brett and Eddie's friends have proven to be both sneaky and accomplished musicians many times now 😀
In my case they made me doubt three times, with Für Elise, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Blue Danube. We should trust our instincts more often.
I immediately knew it was Für Elise since I had played it so much but it still confused me haha
Just find it funny how Two Set immediately realize the pieces they did for the livestream mildrop, while last time Ray Chen didn't realize the piece he played 3 days before 😂

When you, a non-classical musician, are able to recognise everything faster and more accurate than TwoSet themselves cause of all the times they’ve played it as their background music :D
the best thing is when they discover new music and it becomes their background music later. Happened to the Moszkowski duet (thought it was weird they didnt know it before anyway, you'd think they play a lot of violin duets together and this one is pretty common)
That’s amazing.
Love!! More of this please! Also Swan Lake looks divisive; it got it immediately. More definitely more please! This is probably pretty easy to plan 🤷🏻♂️
I'm sorry but i got so distracted by Brett's hair. It looks like he has cat ears 😅😅😭

But also: having the answers playing on the background is great, but I specifically adore the editing choice of having the real piece synced up with Eddy's humming (2:33)!
And also: I am STILL very worried about the 4 wobbling on the shelf whenever they get excited oh boy
exactly. I'm not a musician but I recognized a lot of these in an instant.
4:35 I see Brett has a secret Mozart laugh!
I guessed several pieces faster than them (especially Spring and Summer that I've listened to a lot) and it felt great. Honestly I really do think you guys helped me broaden my musical knowledge and taste. I've always been a fan of classical music in general but this channel - and also the comments! - make me search more music and performances, so thank you all
I got absolutely obsessed with Dvorak’s music after TwoSet did their video painting to the ninth symphony - and it’s come full circle as I beat them at every Dvorak clip!
Also that Spring sample is insane, the first time I heard it I was as clueless as the boys, then I went back and listened to it after knowing what it was and it seemed SO obvious 🤯
7:40 Brett’s really been practicing hard
So proud of myself for guessing the swan lake… years of ballet finally paying off
