Roaches aren't that adaptable. Ironically enough without humans heating up buildings during winter, roaches would die out everywhere except in tropical climates.
To be fair, WE wouldn't survive those winters without those buildings either. The difference between us and the roaches though is that WE can build those buildings.
In the first story they could survive. No one has nukes in the Southern Hemisphere, it could be fine to live in, maybe a decade or 2 shorter lifespan though.
Christoper and Bobster are both right. South Africa potentially has them, Israel I can almost guarantee you have American Made Tactical Nukes at their disposal, India and Pakistan are both known Nuclear powers, as well as China and North Korea, which gives a lot of global coverage unfortunately. The fallout and everything else associated with large scale nuclear exchanges would be picked up by the high altitude winds and cover the entire planet in a matter of weeks, a global Nuclear Winter would be unavoidable
@@christophercombs7561 India and Israel are in the northern hemisphere, South Africa claimed to get rid of them, even then who would send so many nukes to such a tactically unimportant region.
@@bobsterclause342 yes, they could happen and cause mass starvation and famine but inevitable, even if by cannibalism, would survive long enough for it to end. It’d only last a decade or two at most.
Life hasn't been better in 2024, unfortunately. The virus is still around (with a few others) and the U.S election cycle is getting ugly again. Wash your hands, vote if you can, and avoid the crazies of all stripes. Best wishes and may you live well.
Last story - humans known as the cockroaches of the galaxy. Well, cockroaches were around with the dinosaurs. One big space rock took out the poor dinosaurs, but cockroaches are still around.

Exactly Humanity aren't cockroaches, roaches can barely be considered in the same league survival wise, Humanity are space orcs.

I believe india definitely does and there are always rumors that sputh africa has them to in combination with Israel iirc but thats just a rumor

Two very capable people with a good reentry vehicle. Even if they have to manually fly back they will make it back just fine.
