Did you buy the $300 license with the tune itself? Also is the tune itself a ob2 port? or do you have the buy that off the website as well? Or could you use your own ob2 connector?
@@ZachEgbertsorry but your wrong , dealerships have a flash counter and they’re system will automatically run it .once you go in for a service and they tap in to you’re Obd port they can see if you’ve previously flash tuned your car .
And some dealerships don’t mind it if you’re passing by for maintenance or suspension work etc..but if you blow your engine or turbo with the tune and would be delusional enough to bring it in for them to fix it under warranty they will run diagnostics to prove the tune did it then they’ll void your warranty. You take the device out after tuning! If you leave it in, the car alarm will sound whenever you lock the car. I found that out from experience haha. I just keep the device in the glove box just in case I ever want to change the tune wherever I'm at!
Only in eco mode did I ever experience some pretty noticeable lag, but that’s how the car is stock too. I didn’t have really much noticeable lag with this tune though!
Do you need the flashing license? I can't figure out if my x3 m40 will need it or not. I'm just looking for what you said in the video, the performance boost/burble tune. Also great video.
So does that mean you need the $300 flasher license, the Bluetooth, and the maps you want? Which makes it more like ~$500 all together. Or have you looked up any installers near you so you don’t need the flasher license?
I've purchased the flasher based on your vid xD, but you have never mentioned it in the vid that you will need $300 license key enable to use it, sad for me .after careful reading on their website i gotta cancel the order lol :(.
The coding on the flasher wouldn’t work with any other car if you bought the tune for an X3. I’m not sure if you’re able to upload other tunes onto the same module though. You’d have to reach out to MG flasher and find out about that
no, I'm sorry, you did misunderstand me or I didn't explain well, I bought mg flasher for my car, but I didn't have enet obd and I wanted to order it, but I didn't know if any obd works or do I have to get mg enet obd.

On display. Click on car…click driving information… second option will be sports displays… that will shows HP & torque on display .
Thank you! I'll go try that out!

would this work on my 19 x3 xdrive 30i?
Hi, I have a question would this void warranty if you use this flasher?
I have an x3 sdrive30i 2019 from the factory, do you think I can do the same thing and it works and I don't have any kind of problems
Yes. Go with that. It’s safe and they have also maps for b46
Good video, well done enjoyed your review.
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼

I would still recommend MHD overall over this, as it has much MUCH better support and more setting options for the tune itself.
Yea, and costs over 4 times more than this.

does the tune void warranty?
Not that I’m aware of! But you also can just flash the ECU back to stock before going in for service and then flash your tube back on after!

MGF freezes the flash counter, but the dealer will still find a way to detect modifications

How do you buy the tune? It won’t even let you
So I bought a jb plus last week and going to return it because it had a lot of turbo lag. Do you experience turbo lag with this tune?

Im also on MGflasher, buy MHD much better support better options more maps!!
Isn’t it 382hp stock? So 80hp gain would be total of 462hp or around there
382 hp is for later m40
Nice video!
What mods are required for stage 2? Just downpipe?
Thank you! I believe an upgraded fuel pump and fuel lines are required for that. And that runs about $1200ish in parts
Nope! Only downpipe! And preferably a cold airintake in combination.
For the stage 2.5 or 2+ you add the fuel pump.

Get away from the dealer find a good independent Indy shop. Service that transmission!! No such thing as lifetime fluid
Should be done by 60k miles per transmission manufacture. Plus transcase, front and rear Dif fluids too.
