Partly the deadpan way he says it, partly because I’d shared an earlier drink with Ifan and he’d returned it after. Made me think of my character realising with slight disappointment they’re not getting the rest of the drink back.
I am on my second playthrough and with Sebille main. Just met Tir Cendelius and man he is rude af. Definitely a different vibe I had with Red Prince and Zorl Stissa.
When I first met her at the fort she quickly grabbed me in a way a monster would be handled by a hero. A needle to my neck with her arms strangled around me. Her angry yet soothing voice made me fall in love and I asked her right away to join me. I'm still on the island with her and she's a real gal ❤️ (I don't know if I love crazy girls that wanna kill me but girls who take the initiative turn me on so much)
Journos- We want strong independent wahman who all act like guys and look like guys and who dont need no man and belittle male characters left and right. Actual gamers- i just want a pretty girl whod be badass and maybe threaten to kill me then wants to go kill the dark lord with me and have complex nuanced character. I just want a ride or die lady.
I am uncertain why (I definitely know it isn't a real world thing), but for some reason I always end up falling for the romances that put the player in some sort of danger or seem super cold hearted, i.e Dragon Age - Morrigan (A rather morbid witch who hates love), Cassandra (Literally wants to kill you when you meet), Isabela (Almost got me murdered by an Arishok) Divinity - Sebille (Stabs you with a needle and takes you on a journey of death) Pathfinder WotR - A literal Succubus (need I say more) Mass Effect - Jack (A psychopath) ... there are probably others, but I can't recall them.
Huh.. Another elf.. I've come to think of elves when I hear Alix's voice work.. (The voice actor Alix Wilton Regan). She has one of the female inquisitor voice sets from Dragon Age Inquisition, which I played as a female elf. She also did the voice of Kerillian, the female Wood Elf from the Vermintide games. And apparently she also does the voice of Sebille, another elf, in Divinity 2.
Just likes Elves I guess, a bit like how Travis Willingham seems to like playing characters that look like they could perform a fatality from mortal kombat with little difficulty.

What worked for me, when I was already halfway through the island, teleporting back to the Lady V, taking the boat to the beach (which many people say should fix the issue, didn't for me), starting a conversation with Sebille there, an option to let her tell me her tale about the scar and the master was there, so I chose it, after this conversation ended, her exclamation mark appeared and she taught me the scar song.
Thanks for this video. I am playing as Sebille. I got through her quest to the point of killing The Shadow Prince. For some reason whenever I looked in my quest log after that it said I had to go to the mother tree but when I clicked to show it on the map it said it was in a different location and couldn't be shown or something like that so I thought I would pick it up again in the next act but that wasn't the case. Eventually I left for Arx and there was nothing there to be done. I didn't get to do the mother tree stuff. Pretty big letdown. At least I got to see what happened thanks to your vid.
I played this game as Sebille and.. well, the confrontation with Zalaskar didn't go so well, he died and the story just ended there, because you have to complete a persuasion check and that early in the game, it's very hard to do. so I guess you can't complete the story if you choose to play as Sebile unless you pump all civil abilities into persuasion, but that sucks. I don't really want tyo watch more of the video, I just wondered how to get past the Zalaskar dialog, but Sebille doees that automaticly if you don't play as her
I haven't played DOS2, only Baldur's Gate 3 but I feel like Astarion is just male Sebille. It wouldn't surprise me if they took direct inspiration from her.

I chose to let her become the new mother tree, saeila still appeared and let me kill the tree but what I could do is force attack it but no further story about killing the tree after winning the battle. Am I still in the right story line or I need to go back and refuse?
A bit late to the party, just started the game since release on PS4. Kind of stuck with Sebilles storty line since I killed most of the NPC in fort Joy before she could do her thing. I looked on threads and they hinted at the "figure in black armor(lvl 8)" by the bridge after fort Joy and if Sebille doesn't start a dialog with him you could kill him and eat his rotten heart. I killed him and tryed eating heart with my main and with Sebllie and nothing happens, no progression on her story. Still stuck on the quest line: "find a new lead". Where can I do this?
So im almost going to the island surrounded by fog and i fucked up the part of stingtail but had the dialogue about her scar. I dont recall many parts of those dialogues and i just saved saheila killed roost and had that dialogue about killing roost told her she deserve to be free... Did i fucked up the romance and will have to restart the game?
Not sure, I have everyone at attitude 100, but romancing only Sebille, haven't tried the others. As I find it quite disrespectful towards her, if I romance with everyone. XD
What worked for me, was teleporting to Lady V, then taking the boat to the beach, still no exclamation mark above her head, then starting conversation with her, let her tell me the tale of the scar and the master, after the convo ended, puff, there it was, exclamation mark, speaking to her, she taught me her song.
Did you have Sir Loras the Squirrel with you? There's a bug where both of them want to talk to you at the same time during this stage of the game. And if you talk to Sir Loras first, Sebille's conversation timer expires and you lose the chance to talk to her about the Master. At least, that's what happened to me.

i honestly dislike sebille. maybe its because when i play with friends some one allways plays hers and just starts fights with her unique dialog and kill merchants and npcs that others need or can use.
Yup. Ifan is my main and i did it. It just works so well She was an orphan kidnapped and forced to kill. He was a faithful God fearing man whose beliefs were twisted to be a grear killer. I mean they meet at fort joy hunting folks! I like lohse, but it just seems like ifan and sebille work. Especially given ifans feeling on the elves
Did the same with my playthrough. The 2 of them are both assassins who just want quits. Ifan also has what I'd like to think as "main character syndrome" the same with Sebille. Lohse was another option but according to the ending, it doesn't seem like she would've fit Ifan at the end. Sebille travels the world after the main story, this is true no matter the outcome, and it would be very easy to imagine Ifan traveling with her. Ifan and Sebille just feels so canon.

They are the companions that the developers put the most effort into.Both are very fleshed out characters , both have the best romances in their game
My second favorite companion (after Ifan). She's not so good if you don't want to romance her, though. Kinda aggresive in her approach.

After the fight against the Scion Sebille must interact with the tree, not attack it directly.
