Just watched the Netfliix live event on Joey Chestnut vs Takeru Kobayashi! I can't thank you enough for uploading this because my gf and I love watching competitive eating and we watched this last night during a late night gaming session. I happened to google Kobayashi to see what he was up to these days and saw that they were running a live hot dog eating contest today!! thank you x10000!!
Came here after watching the Unfinished Beef Championship. I watched this back in the day when I was like late teens. I thought Kobayashi was so freakin cool. lol After watching this I immediately cooked up like 4 servings of ramen and tried to eat it all. It didn't go well. I know Chestnut is the king for good reason but the image that comes to my mind when thinking about competitive eating will always be Kobayashi and Eater X because of this episode.
I used to have a lo mein addiction (still kinda do), but that pot of greasy noodles never left the corners of my brain basically 20 years later. I still think they look delicious lol
