Everyone seems to love the mixing views, so could you use clear buckets like you did with the hyper shift experiment? Would really show off the swirly action, especially with pearl mixes.
Yep. One of the better colors, and one of the only grey's that I like. I'm more of a 'color' kind of guy, but this has just enough character that I like it quite a lot. Very nice.
You guys need to add cars with more angles to the showcase, like a 2012 WRX hatch, etc. It's a little trickier to spray, but the angles will help showcase the new colors. This grey is on point btw!
You have to make a very dark grey that shifts into gold. Black base and the highlights in gold without any flakes or pearls. Mid gloss finish. GOLD RIMS 😎 IT WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC
Not bad but I think I would stick with just shadow black..... would like to see something in glossy black with a purple haze without any greens or blues coming through....
Have you guys considered doing some more complicated livery/patterns with DIP? I've never actually seen anyone do it. Usually I just see a solid color so I was curious if it is even possible.
I did something similar to my Jeep a few years ago. I took regular black dip and added graphite pearls to it. Came out a little darker than this because I didnt want to change the color on my registration from black to grey.
I've always wanted to see a candy apple red as a clearcoat over black so that you can see through the top layer still but the black underneath would give the colored clearcoat a deeper color. Or the clear candy over a clean old "Lead Sled" to show off the metal underneath but still add some color. Can you guys do anything like this?
That's very nice for a coler its sharp and clean looking its almost like the stealth jet coler its unique so I'd buy it thanks for showing fonzi .godbless
Quick question, I already had a PPF on the front hood/fender/side mirror. Now... if I want to apply dip on the entire car.... do I need to remove the PPF first?
I'm curious, can you use large metal flake with plastidip? How big can you go? and is the limit the gun, or the medium? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
This turned out really nice. Stealth for sure. At first pouring into your container I was joking to myself that it looked like bath water black, but on the car it's great!!
What are the affects of dipping a car with aftermarket fenders on it, should I car paint finish the fenders then dip the whole car so it's the same under texture or will that have any effect at all with the finish on the dip?
You know what? It’s been a while since you guys showed some green color. How about mixing the Tahitian or Swamp green with Extra Lime or Radioactive green?
What would you have named this color?
UFO Grey
Charcoal grey
Filthy Platinum a nice and Rich color
Stealth fighter grey
Shadow Black + Nardo Grey = Sharknardo Grey?
Everyone seems to love the mixing views, so could you use clear buckets like you did with the hyper shift experiment? Would really show off the swirly action, especially with pearl mixes.
Sooo... Shadow Black and Nardo Grey, does that create Shardo?
Shadow grey sounds better
Shar-nado?
Sharknardo
Shadnardo
W H you beat me to it, that’s exactly what popped into my head. 😂
Pouring both colors in at the same time looked amazballz ✨🤩✨
Loving this color, I'm all about the stealthy look.
Definitely simple and clean combo, maybe call it knight grey? Keep up the great vids, love seeing new combos that come up, Happy New year DYC
I’ll call it PENCIL LEAD
So, Graphite?
Love this color! Bet my 16 jeep srt would look sick in this with the bronze wheels I have.
Beautiful color and affordable too I think this will be your top seller!!!
NARDO BLACK!!! This came out great fonz!!! that color and the wheel color combo works perfectly!
I love it when I’m expecting an unimpressive result and then BAM! it’s rad. 🤭🤩
Mix Perl White and Lime with gold flakes! Pleas and Thanks
The Name off this color is Perl-Goldlime
Looks really good. Next do a loud color mixture of something like koi orange an highlighter yellow
Nice, a satin hippo gray. It’d be interesting to see a little dark satin purple mixed in.
Yep. One of the better colors, and one of the only grey's that I like. I'm more of a 'color' kind of guy, but this has just enough character that I like it quite a lot. Very nice.
Wonder how or if the basecoat color would have any effect... what's up with the dip wheel.. Need another one of those videos
I love it!! It looks like a stock clean low profile color that doesn't get too much attention
You guys need to add cars with more angles to the showcase, like a 2012 WRX hatch, etc. It's a little trickier to spray, but the angles will help showcase the new colors. This grey is on point btw!
i like the wide angle, of our dip angel.
Now add alien pearl stuffs👌🏽 that'd be Sik😎
I hear that
You have to make a very dark grey that shifts into gold.
Black base and the highlights in gold without any flakes or pearls.
Mid gloss finish. GOLD RIMS 😎
IT WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC
The black paint pouring into the bucket looks like the symbiote from venom
Not bad but I think I would stick with just shadow black..... would like to see something in glossy black with a purple haze without any greens or blues coming through....

Nardo blackkkk
Well ya did it once more, only limited by our imagination. Fantastic color. Not your everyday color. Looks great 👍
Call It Shogun Grey, Always enjoy the videos Fonz, You should add a pearl to that or a hyper shift pearl to see the results
So minimal & elegant!
Grenardo is a nice color. also you didnt spray the strip under the headlights above the foglamps on the lower grills
Its hard to find a dark color i like but this one is on top of the list for me love it
Looks awesome! Do a kit. I wonder what it would look like with a heavy flake in it.👍👍👍
Nardo Black!
Looks similar to Ford’s “Lead Foot Grey”
2019 Mercedes E63s colour.
Ok, stage 2 add your two most popular pearls with this combo?
Hey Fonzie. What do grey colored pearls (sparkling graphite pearls) for example mixed in a shadow black or dark stealthy dip look like?
Love this color! Would love to see it with a shamrock green/lime green pearl or miro flake so I can see the look before I do it on my car.
That's the color, yep. I have a 03 Honda Accord sedan. That's the color, awesome
I've always wanted to see a candy apple red as a clearcoat over black so that you can see through the top layer still but the black underneath would give the colored clearcoat a deeper color. More gloss please
Metalic' Nardo Grey ahah.
For me, it's the best color on DipYourCar 💥💥💥😎
Now THAT is my color gray. Just add a hint of metallic sparkle to it and it'd be perfection!
Reminds me of the Motor Oil colour you did a while back. Very nice.
This is awesome! How about some Hyper Graphite Pearls
In it! Going for a storm cloud shadow grey!
I love this! I wonder though if a blue pearl would give this a very subtle color shift to blue....?
Now mix nardo and white or nardo and sharkskin. 🙃
This turned out amazing
Stealth grey. This turned out better than I thought.
That's a really darn good looking color. Top 10 for me!
Would love that color on my 2018 crosstrek, but permanently.
We shoulda call it “Shadow Nardo”
Ayo O shnardow
Just shadow grey nothing more
Exactly what David Morris said. Shnardow
David Morris actually, that sounds like the scientific name.
Really reminds me of storm cloud grey just a little more satin
Hey DYC guys love the colour but I was thinking could you please do it again but add some silver flake as I like to see that.
It would be cool if you uploaded in 4k 60fps. The paint would look extra nice and real
Got to do this to my Suburban. After this CV pandemic settles down, have to find a shop that does this.
That's a cool SATIN BREY colour you have there
Color is beautiful! Just asking , why is it always high end cars that you dip? What about other models?????
Freaking gorgeous gray. It would look great on anything. But I'd love to see it on a Hummer H1.
You always do such cool videos. Keep em coming!
Stealth Grey. Not black, not grey. Not over the top. But just under the radar. I like this very much.
Quick question, I already had a PPF on the front hood/fender/side mirror. Now... if I want to apply dip on the entire car.... do I need to remove the PPF first?
Who else wants to see how this color acts with some color shift pearls
just some silver or gold pearl would look beautiful 🤩
I'd like to see like a zta or something along those lines 😍😍😍
@@BlackLavender793 oh yeah, that would look sick
Another sweet production!
I think a combination of metallic gun metal grey and a deep royal purple would look sick
Oh Yeah. That color looks soooo rich!
I'm curious, can you use large metal flake with plastidip?
How big can you go? and is the limit the gun, or the medium?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.
This color is fantastic 👌🏽
Looks beautiful as always fonz!😎👍
Love that Slow-mo! We need more!
Perfect business car color.
This turned out really nice. Stealth for sure. At first pouring into your container I was joking to myself that it looked like bath water black, but on the car it's great!!
Love the colour but I think a gloss coat would make it richer looking
Volkswagen and Audi all look so good in dark gray
1000 shades of gray and hard to find for cadillac srx 2010. just gave up because no retailer can figure out
Looks like graphite. Would definitely use.
I actually like the wide angle opening
Looks good. I wonder how would nardo grey and motor oil look mixed though.
What are the affects of dipping a car with aftermarket fenders on it, should I car paint finish the fenders then dip the whole car so it's the same under texture or will that have any effect at all with the finish on the dip?
For some reason I think this would look great on my 97 xj
I wonder how the paint job would turn out if you poured the paint into the bucket but dont mix it . to see how it would lay down once its sprayed
Can you use the hypershift pearls with normal clear coat for a more permanent paint job?
Looks like the old school charcoal grey but I think it could use some metal flakes
You know what?
It’s been a while since you guys showed some green color.
How about mixing the Tahitian or Swamp green with Extra Lime or Radioactive green?
i wonder what would happen if you put colorshift in the clear coat over a colorshift?
Black out the windows and chrome accents and black out tires and lights would look so Sicccc
Hi.. I loved the mix of ur colour on this Audi. I’m located in India, working on a 2005 Honda Accord, would like this paint job on it.
This color with some nice 10 spoke, white wheels would look clean
nice colour. looks like there is something hanging from underneath the car about half way ?
YES 😍 Absolutely love reflection off that
I like the wide angle better!
You should remove door handles so the back side of the handles get painted to, just makes for a better job.
As soon as they hit the inside if that bucket, a small part of me wanted them to just swirl together in a lingering smoke effect and stay that way..
Would it make a difference if I did shadow grey over Matt black?
Dark Anthracite. Nice
Im trying to find a pearl that will mix good with destroyer grey. Is there a such thing as black pearl? Or can i use white pearl?
Reminds me of Anthracite
Nice color. How can you add metallic flakes?
Whats that aquaish color behind you? I have a silver car that I might want but together
