I heard stories from a friend of mine who had this same sort of encounter with Danny. He was very disappointed that he didn’t train with them but instead chose to preach. I can understand why people don’t like this. If you were to ask me, I would say he was practicing his “preaching” as it’s obvious he can’t really express clearly what he feels. He says he learned to speak efficiently but I disagree. I like many others looked up to Danny when I was young, I hope he matures and figures out how to spread his words with less doctrine. The service part has a lot of truth in it though, Parkour would not have grown as much as it has were it not for us helping each other learn. We serve by inspiring each other. Dance and Parkour saved my life, helped me through very dark times. To come full circle we enter this practice without knowledge of self, we train and learn about ourselves. Then we give back (serve) by teaching and helping others to come to know their own mind and body. Even if you help just 1 person it can make a huge difference. I’m not excusing how Danny has chosen to go about his beliefs however I am saying he should not be relinquished to just a bible thumping fanatic. It would be a bold faced lie to say he didn’t inspire many. He should have spent more time on his own refining his words and intent. Anyways I doubt anyone will ever read this, but like I said even if just one person does I hope they get where I’m coming from.
I serve the universe by playing my part in it. To think there would be freedom in a shallow sense as everyone imagines it is folly. Everything there is, was and will ever be has already happened and is predetermined to happen. It is just a matter of time and time is a very human concept, dissociating us from the bigger picture. Play your part in the happening and embrace it no matter what, then you will be free of doubt and fear!
Amen brother, God bless you.1 John 1:2 For the Life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.
KostaKrunicTraining And I am grateful for that, thank you. You see, it's not everyone's destiny to meet Daniel in person and because of that I have to look for his wisdom via UA-cam.
I liked the debate. It's a good thing to have it online. All people form their minds, by embracing stuff they find fit from other minds. A workshop was much like KVAS (KBAC, that nice/ugly russian drink) - you buy it, try it once/twice, and you decide wheither you like that kind of drink, or not. ps. Question everything. Even question questioning everything. Stay hungry. #yoloswag
Danny would be even more efficient, free, and childlike if he ditched those stale Christian dogmas. I have faith that his mind will get sharp enough to cut thru all that bull.
duckhouse77 So your saying, he should stop being a Christian? What? Because he believes in God? Because he has a personal relationship with God? Why are you telling him to ditch something you have never experienced? Not everyone is like you. Not everyone is going to believe the same thing like you. Not everyone is going to continue to live in sin as you love to do. Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness because their deeds were evil- Jesus the Nazarene Jesus is that light but you continue not to follow God because you love to do evil. But those who are people of truth. Come forth to Jesus knowing He is the truth.
***** Jeah... I saw some documentary a while ago where he was a lot younger and did not have this attitude he showcases here. A lot less christianity stuff and a lot more movement.
Fibonacci Just because you do not understand the secrets of the world and the things that have been reveal to you because you have chosen to rebel against God because you love your sin, does not make it nonsense. I, a follower of Jesus, will not believe in stupid illogical things that give account for logic, absolute morality, truth, uniformity of nature, abstract numbers and symbols, it stupid to believe life came from non-life and everything that begin to exist does not have a cause.

First off, I do not like the idea to mix lifestances or ideologies into Parkour by for example preaching Christianity, Islam, Secular Humanism, or indeed any sort of ideological ideas such as liberalism or communism. Doing so creates undue polarization within the community because it sets people apart. Parkour should be detached from all set lifestances and ideologies. The fundamental principles and values of Parkour is sufficient. In this way the dicipline can develop to become inclusive for everyone regardless off your personal beliefs. Secondly, Danny’s preaching - or speech - or whatever you want to call it - is nothing more than pseudophilosophical rambling. It’s full of ambiguous language, logical fallacies, and misunderstanding, and his arguments would literally perish in a proper philosophical seminar. Third, if I were to share my own ideas, it would be this; The Bible is man-made, written by uneducated, superstitious savages, in one of the worst times in human history. It’s full of contradictions, plageraism and falsehoods. Many of its ’absolute truths’ were determined by men (as with all scriptures, its written by men and obviously in favor for men) by voting. There is nothing divine about the Bible and most of the stories - from the ’burning bush’ to the claim that Jesus was born from a virgin, is relied at best - on hearsay. From a moral standpoint both the Old and the New Testament is dreadfull. The God that’s being characterized in these books pretty much fulfills every single criteria for psychopathy. With other words, keep your ideological or lifestance to yourself, and out of Parkour.
+Eduardo Ubaldo Not sure if serious or not. All you have done with your comment is to use vague, ambiguous language, while committing a bunch of logical fallacies and avoided direct criticism of my three arguments.
+Eduardo Ubaldo First off, he do advocate christianity. He speaks about creation, meaning of life, and so forth, out of the christian perspective. That is by definition preaching Christianity and vision on the world, meaning of life and morality. Secondly, I have never stated or even implied that freerunning means you become a christian. That is indeed a straw man. Third, the rest of your answers does not properly address any of my criticism. I presented two main arguments. The first, that lifestances or ideologies should not be confounded with Parkour because it may create undue polarization within the community. The second, that Danny’s speech - or preaching - or whatever you want to call it is nothing more than pseudophilosophical rambling. Whenever It’s Illbaca answers questions for newbies, or whetever he is talanted or not, or whetever the National TV claims he is ’the Godfather of Parkour and Freerunning’ is completely irrelevant to the thesis.
+Eduardo Ubaldo Yet again you fail to address my arguments and yet again you resort to ad hominem attacks. You're right Parkour is not rocket science, neither have I claimed so, neither are my arguments complex but rather extremely simple.
+RedRiverChannel Couldn't agree more, and finally someone who writes about so objectively. I have nothing against Ilabaca and would like to meet him to counter argument some stuff with him. He could still create logic using Bible and God, but from a scale of 1 to 10, he's arguments would score 1. He confuses me with his arguments all the time. He does try to convert people, has I know, he divides them, he once did this exercise, where he draw a line on the ground and challenged people to make a stand and choose his side if they believed in God, two people didn't cross the line to take his side. He obviously exerces a division and confronts people's beliefs. Has most people don't know very well what to believe, when sound really convinced they can influence, even more when you admire that person so much, speaks such ambiguous things and nonsense, stripped away of any critical thinking or logic at all, then I think, just a few people buy it. The ones who can't argument against, they still know he ain't right. I don't think by his actions and way he operates in this interview specifically he doesn't at any point impartially speaks with people, not putting aside what he wants to let out. Even more choosing part of a workshop people paid for, to sit down and speak about jesus. He clearly has an agenda.
Well Daniel Ilabaca the Lord is proud of the words you spoke today. I am Christian myself and I understand you completely. You spoke from the Spirit.
thank you for posting this

Servant of Jesus You make some really big assumptions about someone elses beliefs from one line of text... Jesus wouldn´t be proud of that.
Fibonacci But you believe things pop into existence...
where is 'My Way' link?
Yevgeniy Yemtsov I'll upload it tomorrow, still didn't record it
Hi Kosta, I would like to know which is your reason to put this online. I mean, your personal reason. Thank you
I'm just wondering, what is "serving"?
+Kang-Li Tan I first thought they were talking about the army and serving there... made no sense though.
That was kind of strange ...I'm speechless. What exactly is Danny's statement?
Dimitri Reimer What do you mean by "statement"?
+Kosta Krunic
His declaration...
it sounds so far away what he says.I noticed that he had a stick in his hand and stood up ...
