    I'm really liking these toppers. They look really well made and durable. Some toppers that are close in price seem both really heavy and fragile when it comes to tree limbs rubbing and puncturing them. The only thing that looks concerning is those wires up top that are exposed to hazards like limbs catching or rubbing them and uv exposure shortening their outer jacket's lifetime. Thanks for sharing what looks like one of the best made and functional toppers I've seen. Safe and happy travels Sir. Also, hopefully you have a propane and co detector in there somewhere.

    Some stained wood paneling inside would look awesome. I love this camper shell. I like what you did to with the carpeting and the placards on the roof. Makes it feel more home like inside

    Nice! Hopefully you'll have many years of fun with your Moonlander. And maybe someday you can get a truck with a 6' or 6.5' bed! Those Bel-Air campers are made in SoCal and I've seen them around here for about 40 years. I had one in 1990. They are decent, but not good for off-roading and they won't last forever due to the wood frame (which is only stapled together if I recall correctly).

    Thanks for the video curious if you think having one of these with a more lower profile roof is doable, I’m not talking flush with the cab just not so hi. Or would it be way to cramped. Would love something like this that would still clear standard garage, also at 5,7 definitely don’t need sides that stick out so far.

    I have a MoonLander on order, scheduled to be completed in June! It’ll be going on my 2022 Frontier. I had question regarding your sleeping platform, if you don’t mind. What mattress are you using and what are the sizes of your two sleeping platforms? I’ll be doing solo trips and was wondering what size I should have one of the platforms for said solo trips. Thanks!

    • @TheJuniperLab

      I have two sleeping panels which together cover the entire truck bed. One is 38 inches and the other is 16 inches. Currently I have the larger one in and it’s a standard trip fold 4 inch mattress off Amazon. It’s a twin size that’s 38 x 75 inches. Fits perfect. There’s a lot of brands on Amazon with this size. Congrats on your Moonlander! I paid full price for mine so not affiliated but I don’t regret it at all. Rad guys and a rad company.

    Ordered mine in September with expected April delivery. It never occurred to me that the fan would be connected to the power inside. I assumed, like the brake light option, it would be wired to the truck's power. Did you get them to install a standard brake light instead of their upgraded brake light set-up?

    • @TheJuniperLab
      @TheJuniperLab  Рік тому

      You could probably ask to get it wired directly to the starter battery. That would be ideal honestly. I have the standard brake light option. I already had the wire harness installed so it was easy plug and play.

      It’s stock but with a 5 foot truck bed it doesn’t leave a lot of extra room. This comes with two bed panels so currently, when it’s just me, I use the smaller bed panel and I get quite a bit more space inside. I really need to do another video.
